California Plaza At Walnut Creek

The parking garage at this address is the worst! Many spaces are so small that you can get «parked in» and have to climb through the passenger side to get into your car. OR, the valet blocks you in with cars which are double parked. Note too that only the freight elevator goes direct from office suites directly to parking garage. It can takes 15 extra minutes to wait for the elevator, get the valet to move the car that is blocking you and get out of the garage. This is Walnut Creek, not SF where you might expect that. There is a second elevator which accesses the garage floors only, but that requires you to change elevators and walk across the plaza to access the parking garage elevator if you are on the East side of the building.

The lucky employees of this plaza and nearby offices have two awesome cafes to choose from. (Plus, all the other small ones nearby). Good lunch options go well with their pretty, outdoor fountain and seating area. This business plaza is a quick walk from BARt — Walnut Creek Station. It’s located on California with the Pringle cross-​street.
Huge, beautiful stairs at Caffe California (deli #1) lead up to a great big statue, and then at the top of the stairs sits Murphy’s Café (deli #2).
