Worked with AppleOne from Walnut Creek CA. They did not seem interested at all in finding work. They say they will email me with interview info by Friday or Monday. Tuesday comes still nothing. Finally on Thursday I get email. So I have to contact them to remind them they didn’t do what they said. I had the interview, called them just after to let Amanda know it went well, but she couldn’t talk so left message so did she get message??? Been one week still no word. I called them. Then I called this morning 4 hours ago to call me to have Amanda call back still no word. The receptionist said Amanda is busy on phone interviewing will give her the message Never got call so I emailed her and got out of office message. Then hour later she sends email that she is out of office doing training won’t be back until next week. So in the meantime I am sitting here not making money and she will check next week if anything comes up.
Been With AppleOne since September only had one job. When we do talk Amanda tries to kiss my ass and talk her way out of it. I am going else where now why should Amanda have a job when she doesn’t perform hers.

I have been to several temp agency’s, and had bad experiences. I signed up on the computer for Apple one. It did take a while for them to contact me. But when I got the call from Keri she met with me. She was so sweet and very helpful. She explained everything to me and found out what my goal was and where I would love to see my self working at. She kept in contact with me asking if I would be interested in different jobs. Finally one job I was really interested in she set up the interview and I landed the job. She has stayed in contact with me asking how the assignment is going and always returns my emails right away answering any questions I have. I am so thankful I found apple one. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Apple One in Walnut Creek is where I singed up January 2014 and I’ve had a assignment very nice and pleasant people to work with. back looking again and I am looking forward to another assignment and they are looking for work for me.

Well I had the best experience with AppleOne also. I was having a hard time finding employment, whether it was submitting my resume to jobs seen on craigslist or interviewing with other agencies who sent me out to potential positions I had NO LUCK. I started to realize that maybe I did need to take others advice and update my resume since my last permanent employer listed had been in 2011. I didn’t really want to do it because lately I had been doing a lot of temporary assignments and the last being one seasonal, I thought that would look tacky on my resume but nevertheless after almost giving up again for awhile I decided to do so.
I revised and updated it on every online site I was registered with including temp agencies. I start receiving calls IMMEDIATELY to the point to where I was turning some invitations down. I received a call from Ian letting me know he saw my resume and thought I might be a good fit for a position he’s working on with a client. I confirmed I was still looking for employment and listened to what he had to say. As he was discussing my resume over the phone with me and my last employer, I noticed he had my old version so I couldn’t wait to send him my updated resume and did so after we got off the line through my phone (I was out n about). He called me right back very excited and we continued to talk about the position, he said he would submit my resume to the company and that he would like to meet me as soon as possible which was the next day. We confirmed and that was that.
5 minutes later I received ANOTHER call from Ian saying the company really liked my resume and wanted to meet with me the day after. I was enthusiastic but still didn’t want to get my hopes up so I confirmed that interview as well and decided to get a bite to eat to celebrate (garlic crab). The next day I arrived at AppleOne ready to register. The receptionist was very nice and helpful, she put me on the computer to look at the safety video and do the questionnaire. Usually when you go to temp agencies they have you do a gang of PROVEIT test which I can’t stand because most of the time the test have nothing to do with the positions your applying for and they can be discouraging and sometimes stressful. So I was very happy when I didn’t have to do any. I passed with flying colors ofcourse. Then it was time for the paperwork, EVERYTHING was pre filled all I had to do was sign and date which was awesome.
Next up came the meet and greet/​interview with Ian, we talked more about the position and what to expect and do. Questions they may ask, He was very helpful and it was very quick. After he gave me his card I was on my way, prepared for my interview the next day.
So the next day arrives and I head to my interview ready to make a great impression. I arrived on time with high energy, met with the hiring staff, discussed my skills and how I might benefit the company. I enjoyed the meeting and felt comfortable about the position. When I left I contacted Ian just like he asked to let him know how it went. He told me he would contact me when he heard back from them so I pressed on with my day and went to get a bite to eat (Taco Bell following exit) all that talking had me hungry.
Before I could even get to my next destination I saw I had a missed call from AppleOne’s phone number followed by a voicemail so I checked it and it was Ian telling me to call him back asap. I was a little nervous but excited at the same time. When I called back Ian informed me that I GOT THE JOB! They really liked me and want me to start Monday WOW! It happened SO FAST Ian immediately got busy checking my references and emailed me a little later on that day letting me know they gave me great references. He also sent me an email link to my online time card. Just like that I am set, ready to go.
All this in a matter of 3 days. I am now once again a working woman. Thanks Ian and Appleone.

I had a great experience with AppleOne ! Although some of their tests and equipment is kinda out dated, I’m used to going to tons of temp agencies and I’ve seen worse. I’ve been to literally, every single temp agency in Solano county do AppleOne was great. They called me two weeks later and found me a job with CC County back in December and I’ve been there ever since ! I’m extremely grateful and they were very professional and truly worked hard at getting me the job that I now truly love and enjoy every single day.

I have put my application in over a week ago, took the tests (over 3 hours), my references have been contacted, updated my resume 2 times and so far no interviews, nothing. I was told that there were about 3 jobs my resume was being sent to that day I signed up and so far again, nothing. The agent hasn’t helped me out with one job or interview. I sent over Job Numbers and description found online that I am qualified for and so far again, nothing! I got pretty much yelled at and said not to check in only once a week and this takes time. Sorry, not buying it! Went to another agency, I have an interview lined up in less than a day. When the agent spoke to one of my references she tried to do a sales pitch and my reference was highly disappointed and thought that the direction of me was off the table. Not good again! I had high hopes and so far I have been highly disappointed. Don’t bother! They only place ads online to lure you in and make you think you are getting the help you need. I have heard nothing from my agent and last time I spoke to her she was rude to me. I’m looking for a job and I’m not on vacation (I wish). I can find a job on my own.

I signed up with Lauren Jimenez from the Walnut Creek branch and have also worked closely with Alexandra San Felipe from the Fremont office and both ladies are on top of their game. They were very thorough in providing me with interview opportunities, ultimately finding me the perfect position! I am so excited to start on Monday with a wonderful company. You ladies are awesome, thanks again!!!

I recently signed up with Apple One and my experience has been great so far. They have treated me nicely and professionally and found me a part-​time job to complement the part-​time job I already have.

Applied at AppleOne, got an interview. Trick is, everyone gets an interview, whether they have openings for you or not!
Anywho…was in their system and hit them back up when I was laid off from another position. They got me a job within a week at a company in Concord. The temporary job site, however, was very unsanitary, the managers were rude and abusive to their full-​time staff and temps, and there was mold all over the work place. I called CAL-​OSHA on them and they did their investigation (never found out the outcome because I had quit by then). I told the staffing managers at the Walnut Creek office, but they were indifferent to it — they did their «We sincerely apologize, but we didn’t know!» run-​around, but I guess coming from other top-​knotch agencies where the staffing managers actually inspect the work site and visit their temporary staff, AppleOne is more willing to drop the ball on you.
Had a relative who worked with AppleOne and landed a full-​time job at the County, so his perspective is different. His argument is also that it isn’t the temp agencies job to visit the job site or inspect it — I COMPLETELY disagree with that — when I worked for Robert Half International, they not only checked out the work site before sending in one of their temps, but also came by at least every two weeks to «check in» with the managers and temps to make sure all is well.

These people are completely uninterested in helping anyone find a job. Their office is really messy and run down. They make you sit and watch an ancient safety video for over 20 minutes (all of the info contained within is all something they could put on a piece of paper instead of wasting 20 minutes of the interview with it. ESPECIALLY considering the only parking around is meter parking.) So you’re basically paying to watch a dumb, old safety video full of common sense.
Or, better yet — put the video on YouTube and send your consultants a link prior to coming in. Don’t waste unemployed people’s time and money on ignorant stuff like that.
With that said, the TESTING — OMG. they use the worst software EVER! I gave the Excel test a try and none of the questions were relevant to any work I’ve done in Excel for a company (and I’m a certified Excel expert elsewhere — apparently they don’t care, you HAVE to take THEIR test.). The test took way too long to complete and was not an accurate portrayal of my Excel abilities.
AppleOne is ONLY interested in wasting your time when you could be using it actually find a job. I found one through another agency that didn’t require me to take a dozen pointless tests and didn’t waste my time at all during the interview process.
AppleOne is straight up stuck in the 70s… someone needs to come in and give them a giant kick in the ass or they will continue to go thru recruiters left and right. BTW, in the 2 weeks I was dealing with AppleOne, the first gal quit and some other clueless guy named Shaun took over and seemed just as incompetent as the first girl.
Again, a COMPLETE waste of time. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from the big temp companies — they will never find you a decent job. Look for the smaller companies or more specialized ones, but most of all, stay far, far away from AppleOne!

Okay, but just okay.

I know there are a lot of different agencies out there in the Bay Area and I have tried them all but I have to say APPLEONE is by far the most unprofessional! I followed all the steps they required in filling out your profile. Then once I set up an appointment they reschedule over voice-​mail. I called back the same day to let them know the new date and time wouldn’t work but never heard from them again. I called again and email but nothing. I finally got in touch with a different recruiter which was an even worse experience. She had the audacity to tell me after looking over my resume that I wasn’t qualified to apply for an ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT job. Was she joking? I have over 10 years of experience in the corporate world with job titles such as, Marketing Event Manager, Office Manager, EA to CEO, Sales Manager, and even have my own business… and I can’t apply for an Administrative Assistant job??? PLEASE, these people are not qualified to be recruiters with there lack of professionalism, drive and overall people skills. They clearly don’t know what they are doing nor do they care to help those looking for a job… WASTE OF TIME!

They didnt seem intereseted in helping me find a job, instead the recruiter there was more interested looking for candidates to join the company. Once you join, good luck finding a job. Till this day they still havent found anything for me, so I already lost hope in them. Note: Dont depend on them.
