Amazing espresso made properly! Smooth and rich. The owner knows what she is doing. A definite stop for coffee lovers.

I had my first iced mocha the other week. Sooooo good! It practically kept me awake all day. Lol. They even asked if I wanted more chocolate. Of course, I did. It’s a very cozy art gallery with the coffee bar right on the side but can be accessed through the gallery. I will definitely be getting my coffees here in the future.

If I can give this place a 6 I would! Best mocha(iced or hot) — nice refreshing stop either on your way to or back from Waimea Canyon. Candy was so gracious, warm, and hospitable. And best of all her rescue dog, Sunny, made friends easily with my kids. You have to make this a stop when you are in Waimea. Also, it is right across Ishihara Market where you can buy reasonably priced poke, fish sandwiches and other lunch items if you are on the go.

We stopped by here after a hike Waimea Canyon. My wife and I had a latte with macadamia nut and Coconut syrup. It was the best latte we have had on Kauai! The owner is very conscientious about producing the perfect coffee drink for each person. We will be visiting her again during our stay.

She lady, very confident in her coffee, takes a lot of pride in her work. Espresso is great, cold brew mocha is pretty good but not as good as Kauai Coffee.

best espresso I’ve ever had. I used to be a Starbucks and Seattle’s best barista, so I like to think I know a little bit about making the perfect latte. this place is a gem. tiny shack, very unassuming, unbelievably friendly, and delicious!

Coffee, coffee, coffee. And tea! — That’s my stuff, man. This beautiful, cozy, perfect shop is exactly what the world needs but is especially fitting for Waimea. The owner was very attentive to my coffee(in fact I don’t like to be picky at places I hadn’t been to before but she asked me some of my coffee preferences and my heart was WON!) Literally 12 minutes later, I came back for a chai. I’m kind of obsessed with chai. I have a website where I blog about it. And yes, the chai here was delicious! Cash only. I’m actually kind of embarrassed that I didn’t have any on me at the time because since Waimea is such a small town, you should always have cash — but I didn’t. I felt like one of those type-casted«city-slicker hot-shots» so obviously from out of town in a Lifetime movie. The owner, a lovely woman, was also very kind and offered any kind of knowledge on the island and activities you could wonder about. Mahalo nui loa!

If you’re seeking great coffee on the Westside of the Island and a comfortable place to lounge while finding some beautiful art created by local Kauai artists, Aloha-N-Paradise is for you! You may be lucky enough to be greeted by the lovely Candy Baar, owner of the place… her warm smile and open attitude will make you feel right at home instantly. While I was visiting the studio was undergoing renovation and adding new ideas, be sure to stop by soon and take a peek at the upcoming excitement. Mahalo for the wonderful experience, Candy and Cliff(you too Sunny… woof!). :)

This art/coffee shop is amazing and really lives up to its charming reputation. Candy, the owner, delights in making your perfect palate creation. When she was asking the customer before me what kind of sweetness, what kind of milk/soy, what kind of taste they like and more… I was thinking… «there is no way she is going to do that for me.» To my surprise she did give me the same quality care as the customer before me and this was my very first time there! Her mocha was delicious and I love all of the beautiful art that she has on display from local artists. Mahalo Candy…

Stopped by a few times for my fix of latte. This little art gallery/espresso bar is located in the little town of Waimea right next to the Waimea Post office. You can’t miss it if you’re stopping by to see the Captain Cook monument in the heart of town. They are not known for their baked goods but they have their espresso down to a science from the special blend of coffee beans that they use to the machine and the amount of crema. Even the water that they use(ionized on site) adds to the great tasting espresso that they serve. Stop by and visit with it’s proprietor Candy Baar who is also a great conversationalist with plenty of aloha.

The best coffee in the world. The owner actually stands on a scale to make sure she is using right amount of pressure when brewing! Out of this world and owners are so friendly.

A hidden gem in Waimea, but a must-stop and see-to-believe. Not just a coffee shop, but an art store(featuring local artists), internet café, bird shop, and massage therapist. Candy(proprietor) greeted us warmly upon our arrival, and proceeded to make two of the best coffee drinks we’d ever had. Informative, enthusiastic, and eager to tailor-make the best drink for each person. Try getting that at Starbuck’s. She gave us personal history, local history, coffee history, and best yet let us play with her cute little dog! Cliff is the on-site massage therapist. He is highly knowledgeable and capable, and very reassuring and inviting. Each massage was targeted for the person on the table, with two-way conversation and attentive response. Excellent way to end a week doing every adventure on the island. Thanks so much! Even if you’re not on the west side, you should swing by just to check this place out.

Meeting Candy & Cliff was the highlight of our trip to Kauai. My son & I enjoyed the best coffee drink on the island & met a new great friend all in one stop. The art, internet, coffee combo is sure to appeal to all. Go & take in the lovely aloha spirit at Aloha-n-Paradise! You won’t regret it.

A must-do stop in Waimea. Proprietor Candy Baar is sure to put a smile on your face when you visit her at Aloha-n-Paradise. Her espresso drinks are top-notch, and just as great is her personality! You’ll leave in a better mood than when you came in, guaranteed. Closed weekeds, cash only under $ 20. As Candy put it to us one day, she’s done multi-tasking, so one order at a time!
