BESTBESTBEST wanton soup you will ever have. I love this soup and for me even basic mediocre wanton soup is still comforting and delicious. Well the soup that Kings makes is is so flavorful. Tons of Chinese roasted pork and the spice from the ginger is so well balanced there is no kick of heat but it makes your tongue have this incredible party of satisfaction! I think the other food choices here are better then passable but not the best(the way this soup is). I am sitting here on the other end of town eating the wanton from a different local chinesefood store where the food is excellent but the soup is basic and I realized this is the second time I have had just so so wanton soup not from Kings. So I needed to hop on here and talk about it. :)

I love this place! Very convenient location on shore drive. The Chinese food is yummy and they give you nice portions. My favorite part about this place is that the owners are always smiling and friendly!

Great place to get great Chinese food, simple and fast! Love the Singapore rice noodle there and Hofun. Good portions for the dishes and fresh and tasty too! The service is always courteous and timely. Easy to carry on friendly conversations. In the same shopping center as Kroger and Great Clips. Great for take out too if you are grocery shopping and get two things done at one time!

When the urge strikes, Gen Tso is never too far away. King’s is a takeout/eat in Chinese place in the strip mall that shares the Kroger parking lot on Shore Drive. It hasn’t always been King’s, but it has been a Chinese takeout place now for a few years. With the recent change of name, there has been a slight remodel job done inside. In the hierarchy of takeout Chinese places in strip malls, this one is in the upper echelon, and I would even consider eating in sometime. Today was takeout Gen Tso’s Chicken day, though. My order was complete before I really even had a chance to settle into the comfy chairs to wait. It was well after the traditional lunch time, though, so I’m not exactly sure how long the wait would be when the the crunch from Little Creek NAB/JointForcesMultiUsePlaceWhereNavyPeopleParkTheirBoatsAndThereAreLotsOfMarines(or whatever it is called these days) swarms in. The food was tasty! I got some Won Tons as well, nice and crunchy. Although it probably doesn’t sound complimentary, King’s Chinese meets my expectations. It is meant as a compliment, because my expectations for take out Chinese are Good, Fast, and Cheap. This hit the mark on all three and I will be back for more.
