I had to call 3 times during lunch hour before I could get someone on the phone but I assumed they were super busy since it was the height of lunch hour. The guy who did finally answer the phone sounded very nice, not hurried like most order takers. It didn’t take too long for the food to arrive and it was still hot when I opened it. We ordered orange chicken and general tsao’s chicken with fried rice and spring rolls. Though the spring rolls were a little on the soft side, I liked the flavor. Actually, for the most part the flavor of everything was good even though the orange and gen t’s weren’t really different from each other. My only qualm is that the chicken was a bit hard and overly fried. It seemed as if it had been refried instead of fried fresh. Other than that, it seemed pretty decent in a sea of other sub par Chinese delivery spots.

Tried this place for the first time after my go-to«jade garden» temporarily closed for renovations, I’ve heard about this place before but wasn’t feeling daring enough to venture out. The location is small, it has a small dining room area but it gives off more of a takeout only feel(for me at least) we ordered 4 meals, 2 were their $ 6.25 specials and 2 were regular dinner entrees m: shrimp foo young, sweet & sour chicken, chicken chow mein & Yatka mein, the place smelled great but I didn’t get ahead of myself as smells can be deceiving… we got home and cautiously tasted our meals, The food was great! Flavorful, freshly made, and hot. You can taste the freshness, nothing had that frozen, stale, blah, sitting under a heat lamp feel that a lot of local Chinese places are known for, overall we were all quite please, this is officially my new Chinese takeout spot.

I have to say I’m disappointed after reading the reviews I was expecting the best Chinese food yet. The food wasn’t bad it was just extremely bland and tasted different from every other place I’ve ever eaten at. The portion sizes were great though. Delivery took almost an hour. I wouldn’t order from here again.

Ordered food over the phone for pick up. Food was ready when we stopped in. Food was hot and delicious. My wife had the boneless rib dinner & I ordered the General Tso Chicken. Both came with rice and an egg roll.

These folks are always so polite, timely delivery, hot and fresh food. You have to try the vegetable fried rice and moo goo gai pan. I’ve been ordering from this restaurant for years and I’ve never been disappointed with them. Only downside is they’re not open on Sundays.

My husband and I have claimed this place as our«go to» for Chinese food. They have really good prices for good food. Our favorites are Sesame Seed Chicken, Chicken Lo Mein, Eggs Rolls, and of course Egg Drop Soup! I have had their Chicken and Broccoli but both times I’ve got it, it was over cooked and very hard to chew. Their General Tso’s is decent but I sometimes get chicken that doesn’t taste the best. The sauce is sometimes a gelatin consistency instead of yummy sauce. They do deliver and its a $ 10 minimum. The little flaws I named are minor because most all of the dishes are delicious! I would give a 4.5 stars if I could. Also the guy who answers the phone and delivers is very friendly! Give it a try, it won’t be a disappointment!

I’ve even going to Hong Kong house for a few years now, and I’ve never been disappointed! When I first started eating at Hong Kong house, it was actually at the one down holland road. I moved, and my boyfriend and I discovered this Hong Kong house(3 mins from our place). At first we were skeptical, because we thought it was not going to be as good as the one down holland! Luckily, it’s just as delicious. My advice would be to order the all-day special! You will definitely get the most bang for your buck. They have options for your to choose from(1 entrée and 2 sides). I usually get the beef with green beans, chicken wings, and fried rice. Also, get the egg drop soup! It is seriously my most fave egg drop soup out of all the Chinese take-outs in the area. The only difference between this HKH and the one down holland is that I’m not sure if they give you fried wonton with dipping sauces. We actually haven’t eaten inside… We’ve always gotten in to go. But definitely ask if you decide to eat inside.

Hong Kong House is located in the Cypress Point Shopping Center. From the outside looking in this place you might think twice about eating here, but never judge a «book» by its cover. This place is absolutely fantastic! The food is always hot and fresh with lots of flavor. Prices are great for the portion of food given. I recommend this for takeout or delivery, not so much a sit down kind of atmosphere.
