I just love AV. Some of the girls are kinda gossipy and sometimes there is a weird vibe. But this place is gorgeous and the place itself is very zen and beautiful. I love Brenda. She takes great care of me every time and is very gentle removing my gel polish. One other time I came in and could not wait for Brenda and another girl did it. She absolutely ruined my nails. She scraped my nails so hard, and it was extremely painful, instead of soaking them long enough and taking her time. Over the next couple of weeks, most of my nails broke. When I came back to Brenda the next time, she even noticed that my nails were very thin and in poor shape. Lori who works there is also very careful and great too. She’s done a pedi for me and removed my gel polish once too. Those are the only two people there that will touch my nails now. But they are both excellent.

This place greeted my friend, my daughter, and I, with open arms after our horrible experience at another nail salon (see review for My Spa & Nails). I love how super clean and nicely decorated it is, and has an incredibly friendly staff. My daughter was so excited and a little nervous about her first mani/​pedi, and they made her feel really special. These people are pros, and my own pedicure was pretty fantastic. I will definitely return!

My last review here I posted I would give them another shot. So, I did. I’m glad I did because it was like my previous 5 star review. Great service, super clean salon, and fun atmosphere. I’m hoping it stays this way because they truly are a great nail salon! I did not bump it all the way back up to 5 stars because of my negative experience, but they definitely earn the full 4 stars!

Visiting my best friend in VA Beach and we decided to get mani-​pedis. She said this was a great place, and she was spot on!
Brenda did mine, and Jessica did Deb’s — great jobs For both of us, very particular attention to feet especially, and they were both a lot of fun to talk to!
Price was excellent — I live in northern VA and the best decent place I’ve been to there is $ 10 more to start!

Arrived Sunday at 4:30 with my Mom while she was visiting from out of town. We didn’t know they were only open until 5pm until we arrived and saw the hours on the door. The two techs that stayed to do our gel manicures were so pleasant. We all laughed and sang and joked and they matched my nails to my Kate Spade purse! Fun times in a pretty salon, with enjoyable and capable staff. Priceless!

This location is just as great as the Greenbrier one. They’re fast and professional and well as being extremely talented. The atmosphere is beyond reproach and is incredibly relaxing.

Very unprofessional that’s all I can really say about the experience. I was put in a very awkward position. I was talked to about other employees and was constantly whispered to by the woman who was doing my pedicure and nails. It literally took almost two hours for a pedicure because she kept stopping to whisper to me about her coworkers. I was very uncomfortable and will not be returning to this location ever. You know when you can just tell someone isn’t happy with their job. I understand that but you don’t talk about it to the customer. That puts the customer in an awkward position. My overall time spent there was 3 hours and then some. I l do not recommend this location.

Unfortunately, on my last visit, the nail tech did not want to use my files and my nails broke within a week. Probably won’t go back.

Thank you so much for taking the time with my sister, my friend, and I for my Saturday wedding — last Thursday! The Milk and Honey was fantastic… and Kim was amazing. The salon was sparkling clean, the attentiveness was awesome… and you guys were great. I can’t wait to come back in town and visit my family and hometown – and stop here!!! The gel shellac was awesome!!!

Amazing salon! Very clean & beautiful! Kim did a phenomenal job! $ 35 gets you a spa pedicure & manicure! Will definitely be back!
