Mostly negative observations with just two positive notes. I see no need to eat here again. The Ham, Bacon, and Maple Aioli sandwich was quite good and was made fresh. The only other positive observation here is both restrooms. They were clean and both contained changing tables. When we walked in the man behind the counter greeted us. From there it was all downhill. As soon as we looked at the soups they were crusty and had fully skinned over in the pots. Not just one soup but all seven pots in the hot water table. While I was deciding to pass on all the soups another employee comes from the kitchen with a fresh pot of lobster bisque. I felt safe with that one so I ordered the the combo with lobster bisque and a ham, bacon, and maple aioli sandwich. The man taking the order seemed uneasy. He asked multiple times what we wanted and in the end still screwed up the order. The lobster bisque was too thick and tasted fake. I ended up not eating it there and took the soup home. The next day I made it for lunch and added some milk to thin it out. This improved it but the fake flavor was still there and I have to question just how much lobster or other cheap ocean fish is in there. So in closing, bad service and awful soup make this a place to pass on.

Decided to stop by for lunch, and I was offered samples for whichever soup they had out that day. I’ve tried several of them, and they were all great! I picked the chicken potpie and got some bread as well. The people working there were pleasant, and it was a delicious meal. However, it would be nice if the portion was larger considering the pretty high price.

Tried Zoup for the first time today. Ordered for myself and a coworker online. My order was ready when I arrived to pick it up, friendly staff too. Lobster bisque soup was terrific. Definitely will return.

Underwhelming. I’ve been here twice now. I like the concept of a dozen or so soups selections, but none of them that I’ve tried are that great. Not bad, but no soup nazi working in the back. Sandwiches are less than average. They should have a sign ‘microwave in use’ because the sandwiches I tried were both nuked. Tomatoes really don’t fare well in the microwave. Neither does the bread — chewy on the outside and soggy on the inside. Nothing really to bring me back again.

Very cute place and the soup is really good. However everything is so expensive. Even at Panera Bread and Corner Bakery they give you chips with a whole sandwich — here nothing. The soup quality is the same as Mariano’s which is awesome but the prices will kill you. They have limited seating just small booths for very tiny people(we really aren’t that big either). Try it once but don’t go back unless you want to over pay for soup and a sandwich

My husband and I went tonight for the first time. We both thought it was really good. I had the chicken pot pie soup in a bread bowl and my husband had the chicken and dumplings soup with ½ sandwich. I really liked the variety of different soups to choose from. We each sampled three soups before we ordered and I love that you can do that. The service was really good too. No complaints at all and we will definitely eat here again.

.Both soups I ordered on a very cold Sunday night were very very thick – to the point of mashed potatoes thickness.

This second time I bring my family for lunch. Big disappointment. Last time my sons food was missing and now I needed to ask for a few items from our order again. I have been in other locations and it is very different compared to this one. Staff is unfriendly and that kind of tops it off. This is definitely our last time here. I would not recommend this place for dine in. I hope they do better with carry outs as I love their soups.

First time here. Great chicken chili. Love that you can sample all the soups first! Definitely someplace to come back to.

Went here based on input from a friend. Lots of very expensive soups! Very expensive. My average sized cup was about 6 bucks. The chicken with dumplings was very tasty. The turkey sandwich was tasty enough but was messy and the meat and other stuff kept on sliding out of the bun… Too much special sauce? It took a long time for them to take my order, too. No manager in sight to move things along. Staff seemed lackadaisical, it seemed. Overall a good place for pretty good soup, but it would be a rare treat at those prices.

Their soups are all delicious, however today for the first time I tried one of their sandwiches. I would not recommend, it was soggy and gross and I ended up throwing it out after the first bite.

Great idea. Poor execution Hidden in mall. Institutional dining area. Friendly staff. Free tastes. Soups look hearty. Flavors off. Broccoli cheddar not fresh, chemically taste. Chicken pot pie soup very thick, lackluster taste. Cobb salad poor value small for the price. Out of a few favorites at visit like clam chowder. Better value and quality at sweet tomatoes or portillos.

The service is so slow. Plan on waiting a very long time for a cup of soup. I didn’t think the food was anything either. The veggie wrap is made of cheap ingredients and just not that great. The soup was Luke warm but I would not dare as for it warmed up because it to so long to get it out. This place is a good idea but it’s needs to be fixed if it wants to stay in business in the location it’s in.

I came here very excited to eat processed tasting soup. I started with lemon basil. Had ample chunks of chicken breast that perhaps was canned. Way to salty,

Really about three and half stars. Food is fresh and good quality ingredients. Good source of soup when my wife has a cold. Too expensive for serving sizes. Will only be back if i’m getting something for other family members.

Dont let the corporate pictures fool you, of course they make the food look like its perfect but in reality, ummm… the food here is terrible and the soup is atrocious, you will ask for 1 sample before you realize the soup aint worth the money(overpriced, go to marianos vernon hills for some awesome soup at a great price)… on top of that the owner is a tightwad and wouldnt give me punches on my card… lol ok, guess my money aint gonna be coming back here anymore, … there is no hospitality here folks… the sammiches taste doughy and something isnt right about them… not worth it… skip this place and go around the corner to potbellys if you want a simple sammich and decent soup(although marianos vernon hills is the best) …

After my 2 visits, I will leave the rating at a 4, but its a stretch. Some of the soups are winners, while others are nothing special. The bread bowl has ZERO taste, even far behind Panera. The soup inside the bowl was at best a small. $ 7 buys you a flavorless bread bowl and about 6oz of soup. Next time in will get a larger size bowl and skip the bread. My son liked his salad and soup, accompanied by french bread. My daughter had the club; on which they forgot to put on bacon. Soup is worth the visit, but they need to work on service and portion size.

If you are a soup nut this joint is top notch. I tried samples of Lobster bisque, Fire roasted tomato bisque, Chicken enchilada, Seafood Chowder and there wasn’t one that I would not have built a meal around. I have a Southwest Turkey sandwich and it was delicious. ½ sandwich and cup of soup was a ton of food because the soup also comes with a roll. I am a big eater and I was full. They make everything fresh so if it lunch rush there was a few minutes to wait but it was worth it. Prices could be slightly lower but I will still go back.

Soup was to die for. The Crawfish — Étouffée was delicious and actually had chunks of fish! I then ate my kids Lobster Bisque, nice. The fire roasted tomato bisque was another winner. The staff was great, and I was surprise how well the service was given they just opened. «Zoup» there it is!!!
