A nice clean quiet atmosphere as with most Starbucks’s. The baristas were friendly and made the correct order. On top of that, there is a large table which is great to do work on and has built in wireless charging pads and they also provide wireless charging dongles for phones that do not have it. A very nice place.

I went through the drive thru and ordered a grande iced caramel macchiato with extra caramel, which I order 85% of the time I go to Starbucks. I waited for about 10 minutes and it looked terrible once they were handing it to us. I thought it was regular iced coffee with no ice, and they literally put about two inches worth of caramel on the bottom. I was in a hurry so I gave it back and asked for my money back. The woman in the drive thru rolled her eyes and threw the receipt at us. I uploaded a picture of it. I’m so disappointed.

Kinda moody, not very pleasant. Gave attitude to me when I asked them to remake the drink, and told me that it was the wrong way to make it. But they did have a good selection of food and the cookies were fresh. But I like a smile w my coffee thank you. Especially during the holidays

I experienced horrible customer service at your location at approximately 5:00pm on Wednesday December 2, 2015. I do not know the employee’s name. I am a green card member at Starbucks. Their policy which is written on their website and in the Starbucks app states: «My Starbucks Rewards® members at Green and Gold levels are eligible for free refills on brewed or iced coffee or tea beverages of the same size(some restrictions apply), regardless of the original beverage purchased, while they are in a participating Starbucks ® or Teavana® stores. Once you leave the store, your visit has ended and any subsequent coffee or tea refill thereafter would be considered a new purchase.». I purchased a tall chai tea latte, and found a table to do homework. I came back to register to receive my refill of a green tea. The employee rudely told me that I could not get a refill because my original purchase was not a green tea. I pulled up the official Starbucks website on my cellphone, and showed her the policy that says I can receive a refill regardless of my original beverage. The other worker chimed in told me that I was lying and that was not affiliated with Starbucks. The website is the real Starbucks website. She then asked me rudely what drink I wanted and slammed my green tea down on the counter. I took my green tea and returned to my seat to continue on with my work. She followed me to my seat and again stated that my interpretation of the policy was wrong. She then accused me of being mad and yelling at her. She started to discuss the matter in front of the other patrons in the store, disturbing everyone around who was trying to study. I never raised my voice or engaged with her. I kindly and calmly asked her to stop talking to me, allow me to continue my work, and that I do not want to discuss the matter at this point. I am horrified at the lack of customer service, and respect that the employees show to patrons. I’ve been to Starbucks’ locations all over the world, and this is the first time my request for a free refill through the green member program was denied. I was accused of being upset, and yelling when I did not do such. I am disgusted at the behavior that the employees displayed towards me. A half hour after the situation occurred, I heard them saying horrible comments about me(my table is near the register so I can hear). I will be in contact with corporate about this matter.

I went through the drive through, so I can’t really say much about the inside. There wasn’t a line, so the service was quick and the cashier was nice. I love Starbucks locations with drive throughs because they’re so convenient! I’d come back!

I used to love this Starbucks and live nearby. Why did they put a huge library table in the cozy sunny corner! It’s ridiculous in such a small space and feels awkward and formal. Too bad. Guess I’ll go back to the downtown Libertyville location.

This is the Starbucks located by Mariano’s in Vernon Hills. I’ve driven-thru here a few times, but never actually gone in. As a previous reviewer stated, there’s nothing relays special about this location to bring me in, or to hang out inside… since it’s right next to the grocery store i’m pretty much just inclined to go thru drive thru and get what i need and go. BUT, the employees here are always super-friendly, which is a plus. And the drive-thru is always pretty quick! Yay Starbucks!

I am big Starbucks fan and visit all of the stores in the area. This is the only location that I have encountered rude staff. I always order my drink and then order a grande frap., pay for extra whip cream and have it split for my two young children so they don’t chew on my straw! Every other store does it with a smile. This lady was flat out rude and refused to even discuss the situation. Drive a little farther to one down the road who wants your $ 10 bucks a pop.

I frequent Starbuck’s a lot(this one and others) and this location seems to get my order wrong more often than not. Last time they gave me a hazelnut latte when I specified that I wanted sugar-free hazelnut. This isn’t a big deal for me, but it could be an issue for a diabetic or someone counting calories. Another time I ordered a free refill on an iced coffee and I never got it, I just waited forever until my friend and I just got up and left. I don’t know if they are always understaffed or what. DIsappointing, because this Starbucks is in a good location for me.

Honestly, the Starbucks locations in the Vernon Hills don’t wow me and this one is the same. It’s not that I don’t like the coffee, that I don’t like the location or that I don’t find the employees to be efficient or friendly. All that’s fine. It’s just that all the Starbucks locations that I visit now are all the same. There’s nothing really personal, charming or fun about them anymore. I just get my coffee and get now. Enough ranting… Bottom line: good location, drive thru and good staff. I’ve been here a few times and my drinks have been made correctly so again, I’d go back, but like with all Starbucks locations — I will just get my coffee and go — I’m not inclined to hang out there.

This is the worst starbucks I have ever been too. All two of my orders were completely screwed up and there wasn’t even an excuse. There was no one in the starbucks at the time. So utterly disappointed. To be exact, I ordered an ice coffee with sugar free vanilla and skim milk. They decided to put hazelenut, and vanilla in my coffee and no skim milk either. I had to ask the lady to pour out my coffee in order to add skim milk. Also, the other order, was a coffee with vanilla and skim millk. They forgot the vanilla and skim milk. Insane, to recieve your coffee and go back and ask for your proper order TWICE. NEVERCOMINGBACK!!!

Dear comforting female voice through the drive through window: thank you. This is not my usual Starbucks, but every time I come here I feel strangely relaxed due to your voice. No matter what I am ordering, it just feels right, like everything in the universe is back in its right place. You should know that whatever they are paying you, it is not enough. With that said, this is a Starbucks, so the product is always consistent. Now that we are into the hot months, the iced grande caramel latte is getting some action at the order window. Good location, friendly staff, and a drive-through is always nice for when I need a coffee on my way back from the gym and do not, repeat: DONOT want to have close personal interaction.
