This is my favorite Chinese restaurant, I just wish it wasn’t 25 minutes away from me! Their house fried rice is awesome, and so is their orange chicken. The orange sauce actually tastes like fresh oranges. Plus, they give great portions, so you really get a lot for your money. I have been several times and always had great service and great food. I will definitely continue to come here.

This place is amazing! My husband and I moved into a new house yesterday in the 100 degree weather so by time we were done – around 8pm – we wanted something delivered. We googled near by delivery and found Taste of China was close and delivered until 9pm. We were able to order online very easily and the food was delivered very quickly! The meal was packed and boxed all nice and neat. The food was awesome and the portion size was great for the the prices. I ordered a sweet and sour chicken dinner combo that came with fried rice and bbq pork. My husband got a fried shrimp dinner combo that came with fried rice, bbq pork and and egg roll which he said was the best he’s ever had. They provided several sauce choices on the side without request. Our bill was only $ 22 including tax and delivery fee. We are super excited to find this Chinese delivery gem and will be returning customers for sure!

This place has great food and comparable prices, I’ve never had a dish I didn’t like. I’ve ordered carry out multiple times and have always arrived to have it waiting. I have only eaten in house once, it’s okay but can get a little crowded during peak hours and isn’t really set up well for families, which is why we mostly order out and the loss of a star. Otherwise, would definitely recommend.

I have ordered food to-go here a few times, a health conscious girlfriend of mine who enjoys asian cuisine recommended this place to me. She raved about their food, how healthy it is and how well they deliver. Past two times I picked up my food, but my body is aching and getting up to drive around didn’t seem attractive. I ordered delivery online — I ordered a small hot & sour soup, the combo dinner which involved rice, sweet & sour chicken and a choice of an entrée and side. I had to order a pop to meet the $ 15 delivery limit, my total came out to $ 20.11 after delivery fee & taxes which is really cheap for Chinese delivery or delivery for any food. My food was delivered piping hot & in a timely manner! As for flavor nothing is overly flavorful here that I’ve tried, if someone wants to suggest a few favorites from there(chicken, vegetables or tofu only) I would appreciate it! I ordered schezwan chicken and it was fairly light on flavor, not much different from the green bean chicken I normally order. Hot & sour soup was light on flavor as well, but maybe that is because they make healthier choices with ingredients. Just because it is light on flavor does not mean they do not make good food, I enjoyed my dinner and don’t have any regrets except maybe how much I consumed maybe I should try dining in because sometimes food to-go changes in flavor, I know most pad Thai does.

Had their delivery typical American Chinese which I’m not a fan of always lots of left overs. Don’t get high hopes I’ve ate their 3 times every time not impressed with the quality. Nice they do deliver.

I’ve eaten here twice, once in the dining room and we just ordered dinner in tonight. The restaurant experience was ok. It was quiet, between the lunch and dinner rush. Service was just a little slow. The egg roll was unlike any egg roll I’ve tried elsewhere(I’ve lived in several states and three foreign countries). I should have taken a picture, but I didn’t think of it. It was a big hunk of deep fried doughy mess, around some veg. I was not impressed. I tend to judge a Chinese place based on egg rolls and this was not a good start. That said, the mu shu pork was remarkable and I’ve never had rice pancakes so delicately done. It was a little light on meat to veg ratio but, still, this dish is easily the star of anything I’ve tried so far. Tonight, we ordered spring rolls(which…for me, spring rolls are rice paper wrapped and steamed), because on the online menu, they looked like the egg rolls that I’m used to. They were, just a smaller version. They were good, but nothing extraordinary. Husband had the sweet and sour chicken, he states it was«ok», but he only begrudgingly eats Chinese food anyway. Adding an extra $ 1 for roast pork fried rice is a scam. Don’t bother. It’s an afterthought. Not enough soy sauce is added, much less meat, to warrant a dollar up-charge. I had the house lo-mein. It was very good and had a good portion of proteins to veg to noodles. Out of all the Asian places in the area, this is one of the few that delivers — so we’ll probably order again, but I doubt we’ll ever seek it out to eat in, before making our rounds looking for something better.

Had delivery. Crab puffs were outstanding. Wished the hot/sour soup was more sour, it was very black peppery, it was good. The brocolli beef, s/s chicken and pork was good, the plum sauce, also. Service was fast and friendly. We will definitely eat from here again.

I went here on my lunch break and they were very busy. I walked up to their counter, wanting to place a takeout order. No one greeted me, even though workers were walking back and forth past me while I stood there. I waited for 6 minutes being ignored and no one checked in with me, at which point I walked out, went to Starbucks next door and was immediately served. I’m very disappointed because I was hoping to find a place to eat with vegetarian food by my work, and would have likely became a regular customer had I not received such bad service. I understand they were busy but they still could have checked in with me to let me know there would be a delay. Perhaps they wouldn’t have ignored me if I hadn’t been in work clothes, but regardless of my appearance, I eat out regularly on my breaks and would’ve been excited to support their business.

We went back tonight and was very disappointed with the professionalism and help. We were served only one water between the two of us. It took 5 minutes for the waitress to bring our second water but with no staw. I ordered the deluxe combo plate, I asked for general tso’s rather than the orange chicken and was told no. I know what you’re thinking, it’s the same chicken but with a different sauce but even after arguing the answer was a rude NO! Mindy asked for no onions with her dish but when her dish arrived it had onions. After a delay, they corrected this mistake. I wasn’t happy with the service at all and probably won’t be back.

Went there for the first time around dinner time on a weekend. Places is small so it filled up quickly while we were there. Normally we don’t do Chinese American food as we usually go to the Chinese restaurants around 82nd Ave in Portland but was recommended by someone to give it a try as we live in Vancouver. The menu overall is the usual Chinese American fare with chow mein, fried rice, sweet & sour meats which is to say that most of it would not be found in more authentic Chinese restaurants. That being said the food was very good. We had the chicken and broccoli, honey chicken, and the shrimp and BBQ fried rice. The portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable. For a family of 4 we ate our fill and still took home half of each of the dishes. Two things I found outstanding… the service and the green tea. I wanted to ask where they buy the loose tea as I love green tea and it was the best I’ve had in a long time including while I was in Japan. The only criticism I have is that my kids ordered the strawberry smoothie. It was way too sweet that my daughter couldn’t finish it. Would definitely consider going back.

My wife and I were looking for food that would deliver, and this place came up in a search. We figured we would give it a shot. I must admit, when I looked at the prices online I was a little put off. Dinner for three of us quickly reached $ 65. But the price ended up being very worth it. The food was all quite delicious, and the portions were huge! Everyone ended up with leftovers for two more meals. We ordered online using their website, and the entire process was very streamlined. The only downside was there was no ETA for food arrival. The delivery driver was very friendly, and the food was nice and hot when it arrived. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for an easy meal brought right to your door.

For my first time, I have to say not bad. Taste of China had good food and great portions. I left feeling full and satisfied. It has to be a good place as the delivery drivers were coming and going so much that the cold air kept coming in and I had to wear my jacket while eating dinner. The only down side is the small eating area.

Over 2 hours for delivery and then you get the order wrong? Not a great start. Food was good, portion size is very large. My walnut shrimp had 0 walnuts in it though, which is quite sad as the candied walnuts really make the dish. For the cost/length of wait/and order errors I likely will not order delivery from here, but may try take out or other option in the future.

This is my flavorite Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood. Their service and price are always good. The best part is their daily specials– Bacon Bacon fried rice, fried eggplants with black sauce. I enjoy their Chinese food delivery as well.

Service was good. Food was very mediocre. I ordered the seafood treasure dish. It was bland and the sauce was somewhat gelatinous. The hot tea was sufficiently hot, though a bit generic. I’d say that if Blandish americanized slightly oily Chinese food is your jam(oddly, for many it is) then this place is for you.

I got take-out from this place way back when it first opened(2011?) and I had just started dating the woman that is now my fiancé.(No date set yet) :-) It was awful! Very strong and salty(MSG?) and uneatable. I expected it to go out of business eventually. Seeing the reviews 3+ years later, I thought I’d try again and I got mixed but better results. I went for the lunch special. Choose the egg drop soup, Sweet and Sour Chicken and the pork chowmein. I insisted the they not add any MSG or salt. They said they never use MSG. The soup was Meh. Typical gummy conglomerate. I’ve become more critical of the complimentary lunch soups since I get a fabulous won-ton soup at My Canh in Hollywood. To my surprise the S&S Chicken was THEBEST I’ve ever had!!!(Sorry MyCanh!) Strips of white chicken meat dipped in the usual Chinese breading. But it was hot and crispy and not at all greasy — not easy to do !!! It did not come with the usual onions, carrots and peppers. But just the breaded meat and a nice ‘duck’ sauce. The chowmein was a whole ‘nother story: Too much large slices of celery which I consider a sign of a cheap way of doing entrees in a Chinese restaurant, too much onions and bean sprouts as well. And then I realized the biggest problem: it had CANNEDCRISPY-FRIEDNOODLES and not real noodle pasta in it at all!!! Talk about a throw back to the good old ‘60s and ‘70s. Looking at the pictures and captions I now realized that you want to order the Lomein and not the chowmein. Sigh! IT was reasonably priced at $ 7.50 but next time I’ll avoid the faux chowmein :-) and get the S&S Chicken with something else. And I’ll ask if the house brewed Ice Tea already has sugar in it. SIGH!

The food is definitely hit or miss! I’ve eaten at the restaurant on two separate occasions, and will NOT be going back… ever! The food on the first visit(General Tso Chicken) was actually pretty good. However, on the second visit, I was extremely disappointed. I seriously couldn’t allow my dog to eat the food I was served. I ordered the exact same thing as before: General Tso Chicken, an order of egg rolls, and the 8 treasures tea. The General Tso’s sauce was absolutely disgusting and the«tender chicken» was way overcooked and hard to chew. I literally took two bites and I was finished. As for the egg rolls, they had been coated with some sort of batter before being deep-fried. It was soggy and flavorless. Even the tea was bad! It was brought to the table in a class teapot with greasy fingerprints all over it and it smelled very bad. Note: I had one other occasion to eat food from Taste of Chine. My roommate, unbeknownst to me, ordered our dinner from here. The food was late, the order was wrong and cold, and the quality was deplorable! As soon as I seen the egg rolls, I knew where they had come from. All I can suggest is that you pass this place up! I realize it’s not Chinese Food, but I highly suggest you visit Keo Thai Cuisine or Keo West, as the food quality, consistency, and service are far superior!!!
Pretty busy at lunch, so service was slow to get to me, but after they rebounded, service was great. Their lunch special for $ 6.99 is a heck of a deal. Soup, app, entrée and choice of rice. Value in a big way, huge portions. I had Mongolian Beef, and for a spicy dish it was tame, and pretty flavorless. Next time I will try extra spicy. The hot and sour soup was pretty damn good, otherwise your standard Chinese fare.

Found this place on my way home and I am glad I stopped. The portions are enormous and the bubble tea was delicious. The server was nice and kept our drinks full and the flavor gets a 10 of 10. I recommend the Mongolian Chicken!

The only thing better then the food is the service. Everyone is attentive and kind, you can tell they genuinely care about all of their customers! The food is some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. Local fresh ingredients, no MSG, it’s all amazing. It is also at an awesome price point with huge portions. We will continue to come back here for a long time to come. Well done!
