Quiet Tuesday evening, dinner for two. Starters were Hot and Sour Soup and Pot Stickers. Both were excellent. Main courses were Shrimp on Rice Noodles and Three-way Mongolian. Also tasty! Wine and cocktails were welcome. Annie was a great server; pay attention to her recommendations. Regards, Andy & Donna Gregg, Vancouver, WA

Good food at reasonable prices. This is a good run of the mill can’t go wrong place for Chinese food. We go back whenever we need good food!

Great Chinese food! Fresh, and not overcooked. The salt and pepper squid is excellent.

This was walking distance from the hotel, I’m staying at I decided why not try it out … it was empty inside maybe that should of been a sign of not good. And yup this was a waste of money. I got the General Tso Chicken take out …

The family meals offer a lot for each to eat. Start soup or salad, followed by 3 starters on a plate and the each person gets a entrée to eat. Food taste great and prices are good. Definitely try them out.

Always good food always consistently fast friendly service… Probably best Chinese food in the Vancouver area… Great hot and sour soup which is my way of determining if a Asian restaurant is worth a second visit!

If you prefer Americanized Chinese food, this may be a 3.5 star place for you. The menu lacks traditional Chinese dishes, especially with regards to the noodle-based dishes. General Tso and Sesame Chicken is overly coated with a very sugary sauce. Egg Flower soup was fairly tasty.

Wow, if this is what passes for Chinese food in Vancouver you have my sympathies. Just finished a meal here and we were absolutely disappointed in every aspect of it. I ordered a combination that considered of overly breaded fried shrimp; a stringy, difficult to eat egg roll; and the blandest chicken and snow peas I’ve ever tasted. My mother ordered cashew shrimp and ended up with a plate of water chestnuts and unseasoned, warmed over frozen shrimp. We went here based on reviews while visiting from out of town but I’m going to have to think twice before blindly picking a top five listing. This recommendation and meal was a huge fail.

I was trying to find another restaurant and my GPS led me here instead. After seeing the ratings, I decided to give it a try. I ordered the teriyaki chicken over rice. What I got was rice and chicken soaked in a very sweet teriyaki sauce. I prefer the chicken to be nicely grilled and sauté with teriyaki sauce and this was just such a poor way of cooking. I don’t like my rice to be soaking with the sauce either. It made everything so soupy especially since the sauce was so, so sweet. Unfortunately, this was not a win in my book.

Very tasty dishes indeed! This restaurant has been in business for many years. The staff are professional. We had the veggie soup, mongolian beef and string beans dishes. Very satisfying. The décor is very out of date and thus one missing star.

Spring rolls were nasty and super stringy. damn near broke a tooth on a bone in the kung pow chicken. Service was good though.

I have realized as of late that the Chinese food we have in Grand Rapids, MI is top notch. You only find this out when you leave and have Chinese food elsewhere and you think«Jesus Christ, this food isn’t fit for a Chinese buffet!» So when I tried Great Taste Chinese Restaurant I was definitely hesitant. I’ll admit though, this place really caught me off guard. I ordered the curry chicken, but I also tried the Lo Mein. Both were excellent. In fact the Lo Mein was one of the best I’ve ever had. The curry chicken was very good, but still not as good as Grand Lakes Chinese in Grand Rapids. Overall this was fantastic Chinese food and I’d definitely eat there again. I give Great Taste Chinese Restaurant 4 Doubledays.

This place is on point. I don’t live in the area anymore but when I’m in town to visit, I make it a point to come here. The people are very nice, it’s always clean and the food is always piping hot. It is honestly the best Chinese food I’ve had and that’s saying something. Their sesame chicken is to die for. Go here! You won’t regret it.

I have never had a bad expierence, at this restaurant. Their menu covers many dishes giving you variety and choices. Only thing I have ever had a negative on was I took someone there for a meal and afterwards the person said«there were no chopsticks on the table and they did not ask if I needed any, I would have enjoyed my meal more with them». I will continue to eat there, as their food always taste fresh. Their staff is friendly, and they will accommodate your request if it can be done.

I LOVETHISPLACE. Everything is so great! They have an awesome lunch special which I usually come for, but have eaten here for dinner a few times and have ordered take out more than I would like to admit(; I have been coming here for a year and used to always get the kung pao chicken, general tso’s chicken, or beef with broccoli(my old favorite). I’ve tried the Mongolian beef as well. I recently switched to being a vegetarian so I order their broccoli dishes. Broccoli with garlic sauce is yummy and a little spicy, I also order the beef with broccoli minus the beef! Sounds strange but the sauce is so good and over rice it makes the perfect meal. Once came by to get soup and food to go when I was sick and one of the women who works or owns the place was so sweet to me and gave me several different tips and things to try to feel better. Always a great experience and service when I come.

I have been here twice. Both times I had the won ton soup and it was enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food came at a reasonable time and didn’t make me feel gross afterwards like most Chinese restaurants I have tried. Good experience.

The service is so disgustingly slow, and no one speaks English so asking how long is an adventure in itself. It took 15+ minutes to take our order, it took them 20 minutes to get out our appetizers, and it took over 30 minutes on top of that to get us our main dishes. You need to stare at them with frustration for them to even acknowledge you. As for the food, the wonton soup was very forgettable. The crab puffs were good. I had sweet and sour chicken and my wife had the mongolian beef. It was not bad, but it was not worth the wait. I don’t think I will be back, my business will head towards House of Beijing.

This place has the greatest service in the area. They have plenty of waiters on staff, and if they see dirty dishes on the table, they are gone almost immediately. They were always at the table if we needed them and only had to be flagged down once for us needing some more food. They have better tasting food as well. The food is very clean tasting and not too salty or spicy. Best pot stickers i’ve had in a long while. One thing that people dont take into account when going to a nice restaurant is the lighting. The lighting here is brighter than most asian restaurants, which we loved! If you havent been here, you should go now.

These people know how to run a food establishment, period. we have been there at least five times and each time the food has been good and plentiful. The have great seafood and very unique Chow Mein and rice dishes. Prices are in keeping with the quality, and the excellent service is a great change from the many restaurants in Vancouver that seem to struggle with this aspect of customer satisfaction. I’m happy to say that the overall presentation of this place is remarkable, fast friendly service, good food, good prices, what’s not to like? Two thumbs up…
