I had the Hawaiian style ramen noodles and a side of macaroni salad. The noodles were fresh and the broth was savory — it was a very simple dish that I feel most people could make at home. Delicious nonetheless and perfect if you’re craving a big serving of comfort food. The macaroni salad was made very well. Very rich and creamy without tasting full of preservatives. The cashier was friendly. Food came out a little slowly but we had a larger party and it looked like they were short on staff. Would definitely return. ***I don’t eat meat and I feel like there were a few options to satisfy me just fine*** I saw that they had spicy ahi poke too! Can’t wait to try that next time.

Thought it was very good. I like the choice of three sizes for all dishes. Pork was a little salty but had great flavor otherwise. Would be great on a toasted bun with some slaw(take home hint!). I’ll be back.

Best Hawaiian food in Vancouver! Very laid back and casual atmosphere, friendly staff, prompt service, and food so good you will continue to eat long after becoming full. I had the mixed plate with the Kalua pork and Mauna Loa chicken. Girlfriend had loco moco. Both plates were everything we hoped they’d be and more. A little out of the way for us but we will defiantly be back.

The food is good here. Portions are huge and the staff is very friendly. The food isn’t super authentic Hawaiian food but when you eat here you will leave satisfied.

This place is good. Hearty portions and pretty good tasting food. Mac salad needs something more but I can’t put my finger on it. Gravy on the loco moco was too much corn starch. Their Kalua pork was so good though! I regret not getting more! I like how they have a scoop of rice underneath the meat to soak up the juice(and probably to give the illusion of more meat). Been here twice in a week. And definitely will be back

Just moved to Washington, from California. We were used to eating at L&L’s which is Hawaiian food; and found this establishment on Unilocal. I had already anticipated my order from their menu on Unilocal; but when I ordered the Portuguese Sausage, they told me they don’t offer that anymore, even though it was still on their online menu. We ordered the Spam Masubi, Chicken Katsu, Huli Huli Chicken and the Beef. The food was fantastic! All great cuts of meat, no fat. All very tasty! & definitely great prices. Only thing we weren’t too fond of was the Spam Masubi was packed full of rice with only a thin slice of Spam, and no Masubi sauce. The restaurant décor was nice, and this is a definite recommend!

My experience here has been positive for the most part as their food is tasty and filling. I think it’s important to mention that I have never actually sat down to eat at the location, I always get my food to go. Prices could be better adjusted to meet certain menu items but are overall acceptable. My go to dish is the large«Teri beef» so I can recommend it. They have such a huge dining room that it feels like they are always empty even when there’s a few people eating there so atmosphere is close to none except for the catchy music that is playing in the background.

Reminds me of Hawaii. This place is a cafeteria style made to order«fast food» hawaiian fusion restaurant. You order at the front, take your drinks to your seat and wait for your order to be up. They seem to bring food to you, but utencils are help yourself as well as condiments.(You probably have to bring your cup back to the register for refills if they offer it, not sure I took out). The Kalbi ribs were delicious, not as good as my mom’s but the closest thing to them without paying over $ 20. My daughter liked the kalua pig and rice and we did get haupia, which depending on how you like it was a really thick coconut pudding. Some places add gelatin to make it more firm. I’m used to both so the flavor was fine but a bit rich for me. Overall I would eat here again. :)

One of our regular spots! Fast service, reasonable prices with lots of options(mini, regular, large) and decent menu selections. Daily specials too! The service is always great. Easy to place a to-go order, which we usually do. Great place for take out on a busy night. We always order the Teri Beef and the Kalua Pig. Love the mac salad, so good. Glad we live nearby!

This place is fast and friendly. When I’m craving some rice and chicken, the Mauna Loa chicken is satisfying. Good price and close to my work. Love how they pile on the sauce and they are not stingy with portions. If you order their largest size, you can have leftovers for work the next day.

This food is awesome! I love the chickens and the teriyaki sauce is the best. I get my own bottle to pour on other foods. Very filling portions. Great people. Can’t wait to go back.

Come here all the time for Kalbi or Huli chicken. Portions are a little on the small side for the price but still reasonable nonetheless. The Mac is great and so is their teriyaki sauce. Definitely one of the better Hawaiian restaurants in the Vancouver/Portland area.

Love the food, excellent prices, good portion size and friendly service. We eat here whenever we are in the area and never disappointed. My personal favorite is the kalua pig. Salty goodness with a side of mac salad.

Amazing food. Amazing service. Clean establishment. Seriously wish I lived closer. Huli huli chicken and the kalbi chicken were both delicious!!! Not a big fan of the mauna loa chicken but that was just preference. All in all it was one of the better Hawaiian bbq places we have eaten at. Yum!

This place is ono. Especially since I not on the islands. Mac salad is up to par, better than the other hawaiian places. There are two portions to choose from, awesome prices. Really wish there was a location on the East side of Vancouver, that is my only complaint.

Being from Hawaii, I am always looking for anything that resembles a plate lunch. I love their macaroni salad and I always order the maunaloa chicken and Kalua pig. It’s not quite like Kalua pig at home but it will do. All the maunaloa chicken is pretty much spicy chicken. The only downside is that it takes about 25 minutes for your food so If you’re in a rush call your order in. Oh and my boyfriend tried the mochiko chicken. He said it was good but didn’t taste like normal mochiko chicken and says it tasted a bit gingery. I didn’t try it because I don’t like ginger. Other than that this place is great.

Our day took us to the Couv. Since we were there, I thought let’s check out some good rated Hawaiian places and Hawaiian Style Grill showed up with a 4 star rating and I said that sounds good, let’s try it. As we pulled up, we noticed the sign on the window said they moved, but only down a couple of doors. We walked in and noticed a bare restaurant as far as décor goes. They had only moved 3 days sooner. No biggie. We sat down and waited for a bit to get menus and water. We decided on the Huli Huli chicken and the Kai Bi chicken. The Huli Huli is basically Teriyaki Chicken, it had flavor but the macaroni salad did not. The rice was done correctly. The Kai Bi(Korean style char broiled) chicken was very good. All in all, a decent place but not worth going out of the way to get to.
