Best pizza place in Upland! I live in Rancho, but I still order pizza from Petrilli’s. The pizza has the perfect sauce to cheese ratio. The cheese is really good. The pepperoni they use is the best I’ve ever had! I wish Petrilli’s was in Rancho, so I could get pizza from there more often!

I’ve been eating here for 9 years. These low ratings people don’t know what they are talking about. This is the best pizza in town hands down.

I love the pizza here. The best in this area for sure. I usually get the spacial and it does not disappoint with a good amount of toppings that does not look like it’s been through a food processor. The crust is above average. Just chewy enough without being too dense. It’s a few dollars more than your average bargain fast food pizza but we’ll worth it in my opinion. Let’s face it Socal is not a hotbed of awesome pies but so far Petrilli’s is at the top of the list.

This pizza is the best around. Fair price. Great service. Clean atmosphere. Hands down the best. Thick. just the right sauce. .chesse. unmatched. If you like salads. You got to try the antipasto salad. Keep up the good pizza. Don’t change a thing.

Excellent pizza. We get this whenever we have a sports gathering at our house, and sometimes even just for family dinner(and breakfast and lunch the next day). Enormous pizza with TONS of toppings.

Disastrous. I am not sure where the 4.5 star rating came from. But it needs to be evened out somehow. Our first surprise was the dining area. Or lack of it. This is obviously a to-go kind of place. There are two 4-tops, zero ambiance, with the exception of a tv mounted on the wall with a sport event playing. But this is not the reason I rated Petrilli’s so low. This is an FYI only. The glowing reports about the deliciousness is an overhype. Yes, they are quite generous with their toppings. This is true. We did a half pineapple and ham, half Italian sausage. The toppings were just ok, and frankly I am not a big fan of hot Italian sausage, which it definitely was. Had I known this, I definitely would not have tried to feed it to my little two year old companion who refused to eat it, period. The pineapple was canned, the thinly sliced ham was ok but not as copius as the other toppings. The pizza sauce was lightly spread and was average tasting, the cheese was average to good but some cheesy parts were tough from being overdone and really not all that different in quantity than other places. The biggest fail for me was the crust. When we ordered, I saw balls of yeast dough on trays waiting in the wings to be used. This is good, I thought. But the actual finished product was not only *not* crusty, but tough as shoe leather, no yeasty rise at all. None of us could palate this so it was left blatantly on our plates for the pizza maker to see. On the up side? Less carbs. Can’t say I loved the garlic cheese bread either. Poppy seeds on it? Strange, and not necessarily a taste that I liked. Nor was it buttery either, some other product was used and I found it tasteless. And the flavor of real garlic was awol as well. It came with a small container of pizza sauce for dipping, which seemed slightly bitter when juxtaposed with the poppy seeds. Disappointing and the current 4.5 star rating is not a representation of one of Unilocal’s finer moments.

Still the best pizza in my area, no doubt about it. Very, very generous toppings. Update: looks like they’re holding back on the toppings a bir. I don’t understand why it is necessary to charge extra for a half-and-half pizza.

The medium pizza is pretty much a large anywhere else. The price is a little more than average. I think a medium pizza runs about $ 24 bucks. The pizzas aren’t cut in slices but more like in squares. Any dressing is a 60 cent charge and can sodas are a buck. This place is more of a carry out than dine in because they only have one table inside. The pizza is not too greasy and every topping tastes fresh. They top the pizza with large chunks of whatever you order. They have a lunch specials during the week. They don’t have delivery but this is a good option for those Netflix and chill kind of nights.

One of the 4 best pizzas I’ve ever had in cali!!! It’s a small place and a bit pricey but totally worth it. My fiancé and I had a small with four toppings for about $ 15. It looks really small but we were satisfied after eating two slices… We usually eat a whole Costco pizza between both of us… YET the flavor and thickness was just Perfect. There is a small table to eat inside but it seems like most people order to go… The gentlemen who attended us was super sweet and attentive he even helped a customer to their car with their order. The pizza is packed with the toppings you don’t have to order extra topping because they don’t hold back. Definitely coming back… SOON

I’m so so disappointed! This was my favorite spot. After my recent visit, I won’t be back. The pizza had a piece of black hair on it, ugh. .disgusting. Then as we were waiting, I watched them do the sandwich, it looked as if they put cold meatballs on the bread, threw a bunch of cheese on it, and tossed in pizza oven. Well… it tasted horrible. Old, dry, terrible. If you can’t keep your quality consistent, your gonna lose customers, as you lost me!

Lest time got a XL Pizza pepperoni, sausage and extra cheese. That pie was on point, the cheese was great and the ingredients were fresh. Service was friendly and they were on time. I called it in and got there and the pie was right out the oven nice and hot. The crust was very good and not doughy. I recommend it going to go back and check for consistency cause that is the key to a great restaurant.(Stinks voice here) I’ll be back!

My boyfriend and I wanted to try a new pizza place and saw that this had a 4.5 star average so we decided to give it a try. Petrilli’s Pizza is a hole in the wall family owned pizza place is located in a strip mall. Their pizzas are thick crust. The pizza sizes include small, medium, large, and extra large. Any pizza that’s larger than a small is cut into squares. Their cheese is made up of mozzarella and romano cheese. They have around 15 toppings to choose from. Besides pizza, they also serve a small variety of appetizers, salads, and sandwiches. They also have lasagna. We had a medium 16″ pizza with half pepperoni and mushrooms and half pineapple($ 23). Pizza arrived within 15 minutes. The pizza was a bit dry, hardly any tomato sauce, and the outer edge of the pizza was crispy and tough. Each bite had a bit of a crunch to it. The bottom layer was like a cracker and the top layer was rather fluffy. Pizza wasn’t greasy at all as I can put my hand under the bottom of the slice and not get grease on my hands. They seriously overloaded with a lot of toppings. A lot of toppings is usually good but there was too much of it and it became a scavenger hunt to find the cheese. The cheese part was good at least. There wasn’t really a good balance of anything in terms of cheese, sauce, and everything else. The pizza didn’t taste terrible but was acceptable. There’s only two tables. This pizza place is definitely more of a takeout place. Service was okay. The employee seemed a bit stern at first but was more friendly later on. My boyfriend had to go ask for plates once we got the pizza. I guess they assumed we were going to do takeout. Once we were done, the employee just told us to leave the stuff there and he will take care of it. Overall, the pizza was just okay. Price is a bit much for pizza that’s not really over the top amazing. There are way better pizza places elsewhere. I don’t think I’ll be back here anytime soon.

We were in the area after our recent vacation and decided to look up some local pizza favorites. Yes, we were suckered in by the 4.5 star ratings and the pictures did look good. We ordered 2 small pizzas(small=8 slices) and went home-the pizzas sat on my lap the entire drive, but I did not get any appealing aromas that would usually make my mouth water when in the presence of good pizza. The pizzas were a bit of a disappointment. Sure, the toppings were piled on high, but there needs to be a balance of good red sauce, garlic, and cheese as well especially if the crust is going to be so dense and hard. Piles of toppings are of no use to us if there is nothing tying it all together. And for the amount we paid, yes we expected gourmet quality. The service was matter-of-fact, I saw that they had large and extra large pizzas and just made small talk and asked if they did catering since it was my first time there. The guy shook his head and told me just to order a bunch of large pizzas and pick it up. Not sure if we will be back because the pizza was underwhelming, but it could have been a bad day as well so we will always leave room for the benefit of a doubt. Our nearby pizza place has spoiled us!!!

Definitely my favorite pizza! Order ahead and take it to go… but I promise it will be torture having to smell it and not be able to eat it while driving(unless you’re a crazy person and eat while you drive…)…there’s hardly any sitting space.

I been hearing about this pizza spot for a while, finally tried it out. I walked in and ordered a medium house pizza(Petrilli’s Specialty) and a 10 order of wings. I waited about 15 minutes until I departed with my order. The guy who took my order was pretty welcoming. The pizza was delicious, can’t recall the last time I’ve had a loaded pizza like this one. This place definitely loads their pizzas. The wings were pretty good;they were baked. Chicken falls off the bone easily, but $ 10 for 10 wings? I think that is pretty steep. I’ll definitely be coming back, next time I’ll consider a smaller pizza. This medium was just too much for two people. I didn’t like the fact they charge extra($.60) for ranch, jalapeños, and other items. Maybe a limit per pizza would be suffice. Then again we do live in a capitalism country. I recommend calling your order in.
