Sal & Sons Pizza & Pasta

Just tried this place for the first time and it was really good. I had the NewYork Style Calzone with meatballs and Canadian bacon. The meat sauce is great so is the ranch. I will be back.

I love Sal & Sons! Hey have great lunch specials, my fave is their torpedo sandwich. The staff is really friendly and so helpful. I heard their pizza is good so I can’t wait to try it.

This was the best pizza I have ever had, and I say WAS because I found out yesterday that Sal & Son’s is no longer there! I’m so disappointed and do not know what happened! When I called to order a Pizza the girl answered «Chicken & Waffles» WHAT!!! I’m so shocked and upset! Loved them and their food. Anyone know if they have any other locations? SAL & SONS YOU WILL BE TRULY MISSED!!!

Loved the laguna. They have the best cheese ever and they are super nice. Made us feel right at home.

Food is OK not the best. Kinda pricey for the little food you get and the service needs to be more welcoming, not making you feel like your stepping on the wrong lawn…

Great food! Talk about comfort food. I enjoyed the pasta and the pizza the day before. I love the sauce, can’t get enough of it. Definitely becoming a regular. I don’t know why it took me so long in the first place. Thank you.

This is the best pizza place around! Vin, Joey and Liz are all great people. Lunch specials are excellent and everything is fresh and delicious! The blue cheese dressing, marinara and meat sauce are outstanding! Family owned and ran which gives me an extra incentive to bring my business here.

Food is good. Pasta meals are pasta and bread for about $ 8-​$ 10 (no drink). The giant mozzarella sticks are delightful.

Great food! Holy cow loved it, the calzones are right on point! The only thing i would have to say is customer service wasn’t that great everyone seemed like they were having a bad day. But excellent food at a great price!

Perfect spot for lunch! It’s always very clean, and the workers are fast and friendly. They have awesome lunch specials, but my go-​to is the mini 1-​topping pizza combo for about $ 8. It comes with either soup (minestrone) or salad, and a small drink (with free refills). I get this to share with a coworker and we add on another salad and small drink, and it’s the perfect amount of food. I LOVE their ranch dressing for the salad, it’s definitely homemade and super tasty! The pizza is made fresh and the sauce is very flavorful. The owner is a guy named Vinny and he is super sweet and always remembers his regulars. They recently expanded the store so there is plenty of seating room now and there’s even a few arcade games for fun.

I give sal and sons 4 stars. The food is great! Service is great ! I live their pizza! Thin crust is awesome! The only thing I feel is the menu is a Little high priced then most Italian pizza places in the area. But the food is awesome!

I haven’t tried anything that I didn’t like, everything is made fresh to order. A great place for families, they even have games for the kids.

Pretty empty when we came around 1 pm. We had a lot of trouble deciding what to get, but in the end we got lasagna, spaghetti, garlic knots, and chicken pizza rolls. The lasagna and spaghetti were just ok, the pasta was a bit overcooked. The garlic knots were too greasy and dripping in oil so they were soggy. The pizza rolls were sooo delicious and they make for great leftovers. Service was a bit blah, the girl wasn’t really happy or helpful. All in all we don’t plan on coming again.

My friend and myself arrived around 2:00pm for their lunch menu that ends at 3:00pm on weekdays. We both ordered pepperoni personal pizza combo w/​salad and small soda (free self serve refills). We also get our own silverware, napkins and straws to our table which they bring the food there. Not too busy, nice service and clean.
We received their salads first which mine is bleu cheese with a slice tomato and cheese on the top, nicely prepared. 15 minutes later our pizzas arrived and it looked and tasted very good and will order again a different kind (other favorites are hawaiian, sausage, bacon and just cheese) and one of these days I want to try the Luna Pizza! Therefore I’ll be back again!
They share the parking lot w/​a few other businesses including Juice It Up, Starbucks and WingNuts. It says they deliver.

Just left Sal and Sons… thee best pizza and lasagna. I can’t wait to go back. The restaurant was very clean and the service was impeccable.
Their lunch specials vary but my God the Minestrone soup was to die for… Helpful tip — add some cheese to your soup.

I meant to rate 5 stars last time. I was so pleasantly surprised the first time I ordered from Sal and Sons. Tried the pepperoni knots this time. They were so delicious my eyes literally rolled back in my head. Before I knew it I had eaten the whole box.
There antipasto salad is so fresh and full of delicious meats and veggies. It is truly a meal in itself. I actually had to save it for the next day. After eating the whole box of pepperoni knots, I couldn’t take another bite of anything. my boyfriend and I shared it and we were completely satisfied until the next meal.

I live in Fullerton and happily drive over 30 miles just to enjoy this pizza! Real Italian food and real Italian taste! I’m originally from back East and was dying for that authentic East Coast taste! I’m happy to say, I FOUND IT!
Take the time and go, you will be so glad you did!

After attending Preview Day at WU with my friend and being tempted by the mouth-​watering aroma of another party’s spaghetti… our tastebuds were craving spaghetti hardcore! After a fail at Vince’s Spaghetti not being open until 4pm that Saturday evening, Sal & Son’s Pizza & Pasta popped up on Unilocal.THANKS Unilocal!
Ample parking, spacious seating arrangement (booths and tables available). After observation of the area, they have pans of their pizza sizes out on display to help their customers out with deciding on how much food to order.
. We had full order of spaghetti, which came with two breadsticks (choice of garlic or cheesy, we opted for cheesy), choice of soup of the day or salad (we opted for Minestrone), and a drink — which we were able to discover the limited edition flavor called peach green tea brisk with no calories.
Ahh, totally hit the spot and squashed our major craving! Don’t let that order fool you, it’s totally fit for two people! UNLESS you were super hungry… then get one for yourself! :D
On our way out… we picked up two freshly baked cookies… It was mos’def FRESHLY BAKED OOEY GOOEY GOODNESS. Take a bite of BOTH cookies at the same time and you have yourself a Reese’s cookie — how mind-​blowing is that? You can totally tell that these cookies are super fresh because the minute I picked one up to hold it in my hand… the chocolate and peanut butter parts slightly melted with light pressure.
Overall, we’ll totally be back to try the other items on the menu! Thank you for the super quick and friendly service! What a great mom-​and-​pop shop /​hole in the wall discovery!
