I occasionally attend classes and enjoy them, usually. I try to not let the overall attitude ruin the experience. If you’re looking for good customer service, a friendly hello, or a reply to an email you’ll be disappointed. Lync tends to feel like a sorority, snubbing and all.

I go to the Plano studio in Shops @ Legacy and the instructors are awesome! I like the facility because it is clean and modern. The bikes are high quality and I like it when the lights are turned down. It allows me to focus on myself and not get distracted by others around me. The workouts are intense! Don’t underestimate the 1 – 3 pound weights! You will get a pretty intense upper body strength workout! Bring friends and have fun together! It’ll be a blast.

It’s too damn dark in the room! It’s impossible to set up your bike before class since you really can’t bring in a phone(aka flashlight) in to check the settings, and I was ignored by the staff when I asked for help. I’m an instructor elsewhere and teach on Keiser bikes, so I know my setup, but not when it’s pitch dark. I had to use the light of my Fitbit Surge to readjust my bike 3 times during the ride because the seat kept falling down during the ride. These bikes seem to be an older model of Keiser because the adjustments just wouldn’t stick. They’re probably just not that maintained. Otherwise, the classes are good: good music, high energy.

Thanks to ClassPass I get to experience many studios in Dallas, which is fabulous. Lync is one of my absolute favorites. I have never had a bad class there. I’ve been to a handful so far, but today I took JD’s 5:45 a.m. It was by far my favorite. He has wonderful energy and you leave feeling exactly the way you should after a workout!

First class is free! A friend and I tried the 9am Sunday class with Kyle. Neither of us had been to a spin class since college so we walked in a little confused. We started out a little lost but Kyle asked if anyone needed help before class began. She came over, helped us adjust our bikes and clip in and brought us weights. While intimidating at first, the class eventually flew by and was easy to follow along. It would definitely take more classes to get the hang of some of the moves, but Kyle made it easy to adjust the work out to your level. Watching the riders in the front row also helped me follow along. My legs had been sore from a couple other hard workouts the day before but I left class feeling great. The music and lights make it fun, and the class is very encouraging. I liked that the class focused more on hill climbing than sprints, but I don’t know if that’s typical of every class. You use light weights some of the time to get a full body work out, along with some sets of push ups. Kyle clearly defined each of the arm positions throughout class and what resistance to use for«your flat road» and hills. The front lobby gets pretty crowded, and I recommend bringing your own shoes. Otherwise they charge you $ 3 for shoe rental each class. Your first class is free, so I definitely recommend giving lync a chance. There’s an assortment of cute apparel in the lobby and a filtered water fountain at the very back end of the studio. Towels are complimentary, which is a nice touch.

If you are looking for a fun, upbeat and uplifting workout, look no further! The atmosphere and team at Lync are amazing! True total body workout each and every class, riding to the beat of the music pulsing throughout the room. I have seen great results from these classes and feel healthier than ever! Their schedule allows for any busy schedule to get a workout in! Definitely stop by for a class if you haven’t! You will be hooked.

This studio is excellent for an intimate work out. Instructors create an awesome environment for you to sweat it out. Music selection is extremely important and they have got it down together with their teaching style! If you have not been, you are missing out! Best studio in Dallas!

I’ve found Lync Cycling to be the premier workout studio in Dallas. I did ClassPass for 3 months to find the best studios to join and Lync made the cut. I absolutely dreaded workouts until I found Lync, and not only do I have a blast in every class, I have seen amazing results! The music and fun lights really make it feel more like a party and everyone at the studio is like a big family. I even had my 26th birthday party at Lync. Bonus: They have been very supportive of the animal rescue group I work with, and have hosted adoption events, fundraisers and drives for us — the owners really care. Your first class is free!

Lync is a great place for some fun exercise! The place has a classy design and stylish feel. It is always clean and neat — which is important to me. What I love best is the passion of the instructors. They are smart and well trained, but they also know how to have fun. You can tell they really love what they do. I also like how they keep me challenging my limits, but I can still go at my own pace. They also do a lot of fun promotions which keep me coming back!

I’ve been to several cycle studios in the DFW area and Lync is my favorite. The workout is amazing and only 45 minutes. The music is always upbeat and fun. I read a review that said the front desk was not helpful, this is completely untrue! The front desk always greets me by name and have always been helpful. Paige is who is usually working when I work out, she always greets me by name with a smile on her face. In one instance, I forgot to sign up for a class and showed up, she was able to quickly get me a bike. If you are in the mood for upbeat, fun class, Lync is for you. If you are lazy and want to complain, take your lazy ass home. Otherwise, Lync is the place to be.

Use to come here when it was BEYONDPEDAL, they offered promotions often which always drew me and my friends to add this into our routine, but now, no specials ever. Great workout and music, just extremely expensive.

If you are looking for a great workout than, yes I recommend it. If you are looking for good customer service DON’T COMEHERE! It seems that the front desk never knew what was going on and I was always getting over charged for shoe rentals. I emailed the owner to have her look into resolving my over chargers since the front desk couldn’t get it together. She never returned my email or called me. Poor way of running a business if you ask me. This cycling studio will not have my return business and I don’t recommend.

I visited Lync through my classpass membership and was really disappointed. I checked in and let the girl at the counter know I was new to the studio so I might need some help. She seemed to let it go in one ear and out the other because when the doors opened I walked in, so confused, and came back out twice to ask for help. I ended up asking the instructor who taught the class before mine to please help me and she was friendly and helped. The class itself was decent but my hear monitor reported I didn’t burn nearly the amount of calories I typically burn in other spin classes.

Formally named BEYOND Pedaling, Lync Cycling is a boutique indoor cycling studio. I came in for their 45 minute class on a Sunday morning, and I was pleasantly surprised by the studio. Kyle was a great instructor. Although I tend to not like rhythm-based cycling classes(the beat of the song determines your RPM /pedaling speed), she incorporated some balancing exercises out of the saddle which I had never experienced before, so I really enjoyed the novelty of it. The cycling portion of the class tends to stress higher resistance and more work out of the saddle for a majority of the class. In addition, Lync also incorporates more push-ups off the handlebar than other spin studios I have tried. Other arm exercises include dumbbell exercises in the saddle for ~5 minutes to provide you a full-body workout. Another thing I appreciated was that Kyle provided guidance of when to increase resistance. At the beginning of class, she provided a range of resistance levels to start off the workout. Afterwards, she would cue when to increase the resistance and by how much to increase. However, one point of improvement is that I wish there was more stress on higher RPM workouts. Additionally, the«high» resistance at Lync isn’t as difficult compared to some other studios I’ve been to. It becomes more comparable once you reach resistance level 20(max level on Lync bikes are ~25), but I found for most of the workout, the instructor had the class between resistance level 10 – 15 if you followed her cues to increase resistance. In terms of studio amenities, the studio provided me a free pair of cycling clip-in shoes for my first visit, but I’m not sure if there is a rental fee for future visits. I’ll definitely update when I return! Electronic lockers are available on-site, but no water fountain is available for free refills of water. Instead, water is available for purchase. Overall, a pretty good spin studio — it’s not my favorite, but it’s definitely a good backup from my primary and I’ll probably drop in periodically.
