Some good stuff. Our big issue was customer service. Very cold. Made us feel as if we were not welcome. My wife and I had been in there for 30 minutes before close. We were letting our kids pick out toys and we were putting them on the front counter so we could buy them when we left. At one minute till close they started flashing the lights on us. We were the only ones in the store. We were about to leave but we’re getting our kids together. No one had the nerve to come and talk to us. This place will never get our business again. You can get the same stuff on amazon for a lot cheaper. Not worth the trip.

Customer service is kind of cold and not friendly at all. They do have a lot of selections and games. But not a good experience overall.

Absolutely appalled at the lack of customer service, and would give them one star if I could! I went to Learning Express to get a gift for a friend’s 1-year-old. I went out of my way to Learning Express for three reasons: 1) My first ever job 15 years ago was at a Learning Express, 2) They normally have great customer service, and 3) Their wrapping is unparalleled(it’s where I learned all my awesome wrapping skillz). Despite seeing 4 employees and only one other customer, not once was I asked if I needed assistance or if they could make a suggestion. Then, when I asked to have my gift wrapped, they did the most half-assed job. The one-year-old whose gift it was probably could have done better. I asked them to fix the bow and make a bigger, nicer one and I was greeted by an eye roll and a «we don’t do big bows.» I even offered to show them how my old Learning Express taught everyone to make bows, but they refused(one girl wrapping, three other employees just watching) and gave me another totally ridiculous bow. Never going back, and will stop promoting Learning Express to all my mommy friends!

Really nice toy store with good and also educational toys. There is definitely a little premium to their prices for their knowledge, helpfulness and customer service, but depending on the situation, it can be worth it. Good place to get gifts and nicer toys.

Excellent customer service. I walk in and tell them I need a present for a X year old boy/girl that likes XYZ. They offer me(childless one) with several options and price ranges. I ask which the child will think is the coolest. Pay for it while they wrap it for FREE and off I go with a big smile on my face. I shop here for all my little friends and they think I give awesome gifts. Also great for baby and baby shower gifts.

Great for big and little kids alike. Large selection packed into the little space, and they don’t even stare when they know you’re shopping for yourself. You’ll run into the usual Highland Park moms here, but it’s worth it.
