This store has horrible customer service. I paid $ 400 for clothes to be shipped to my sister in NY. Janel said she remembers my sister and I being in there two weeks before and had her address in the computer system to ship to. I took her word for it. The clothes were shipped to an incorrect address in NY and not until I contacted the store did Janel tell me they were delivered by FedEx to the address she gave them, which was my sisters address from two years ago she no longer lives at. Keep in mind my sister spent $ 800 there two weeks prior and she had shipped to her current address which is on file. Well it’s been three weeks, I’ve had text messages from Janel. I’ve told her I want an immediate refund which she has not done and we have not received the merchandise I have paid for. She is waiting for Fedex to find the box, this is not my problem. Also, she refunded my shipping as a store credit. Who does that? I don’t even have kids or shop there. Then she decides to text me and my sister a baby book is in that was a gift for my sister, doesn’t pick up the phone to call me and its a gift for my sister, which ruined the surprise. It’s beyond ridiculous. We still have no merchandise we paid for and tired of waiting for them to find it. I’ve never experienced anything this unprofessional ever. I will never shop there or recommend them to anyone. She has not called me once and only communicated by text messages. They are overpriced and its appalling they are still in business.

Not long before my son was born in 2012, I had the most horrible, disturbing and gross demonstration of customer service I have ever experienced in my life at this store. Almost a year later, I am still barely able to think about it without my blood pressure rising but I finally feel ready to address it. Do not shop there. Do not do any business with the owner, Jennifer. She was helping me with my nursery. She constantly went back on her word, lied, was emotionally unstable and unpredictable, and at one point called me screaming and cussing like a crazy person– I thought she had dialed the wrong number. I have never been spoken to that way in my life, completely out of the blue. Even her own employee tried to stand up for me. My husband and I went to meet with her, and after somewhat realizing her mistake, she refused to apologize and started to yell at us again out of embarrassment. I was 9 months pregnant and crying as she continued to yell at me(Not to mention I was her customer!) I am filing a complaint everywhere I can– DO. NOT. GIVE. THEM. YOUR. BUSINESS. I posted to Facebook and many other people have contacted me saying they had similar experiences.

I recently had a very poor experience at Hip Hip Hooray. I bought a baby girls swimsuit for a baby shower for $ 40. I later tried to exchange it for a larger size and in checking out they told me I owed them $ 20, because the item was actually $ 60 and they had accidentally mismarked the swimsuit. I said to them that I should not have to pay the extra $ 20 for their mistake. I had my receipt for the $ 40 purchase and they would not budge, in fact, they were quite rude. They also would not credit back my credit card — only store credit! No thanks. For this reason, I have to give them 1 star. There are so many other cute baby boutiques to shop at in Dallas than Hip Hip Hooray.
