O.V.E.R.P.R.I.C.E.D. Do I need to elaborate? And not impressed with their burger. Naaah! I won’t go back… not worth the money.

Burger and fries are pretty good, I love the cajun fries; they’re fantastic! I definitely love that the fries are always made to order. There’s a board by the register to tell you where the potatoes came from for your fries today. Even if you order in advance, they don’t make it until you get there so it’s nice and hot right out of the fryer. The calorie count is a little overwhelming though, so I can’t go here very often.(Note: You can see the calorie count next to each item on the menu.)

Had dinner last night 6:30 pm. Place was empty. The guy that took our order did not even greeted us. The hamburger meat was over cooked and the fries just palatable. We were eating in, yet they gave us our food in a bag, no plates or trays. The music they had on was loud and some kind of punk. On the plus side, the place was clean No thanks. Not impressed

Build your own burger. It’s good for the first half of the burger but I got tired of it soon after. The filling options are nice to have though and the Cajun fries are good. The patty itself isn’t seasoned so a plain burger would be pretty bland. I won’t come here on my own but I have friends who are fans.

Good food. Made a mistake on our order but they fixed it. No issues. Great customer service. THAT goes a long way.

First time customer. Delicious all the way around and friendly people who actually smile and answer questions. Ordered cheese burger and junior burger both with everything. Very tasty! Prices lost a star but I figured that The Irvine Company is landlord so the rent is probably super high.

I seriously don’t get what all the hype is about. It is nothing special. The burgers are cooked well done, and I don’t think that enhances the flavor of the meat. I ordered a hamburger, and got 2 patties when I really don’t like that much meat. It was overall bland and boring. I didn’t even really want to finish it because it became tedious and monotonous. The décor is red and white… just like In N Out. And free peanuts? Who cares. Peanuts don’t go with burgers and hot dogs in my opinion unless you are at the fair.

I had to bring someone here because what they said sounded like this place was famous. They serve burgers, hot dogs, and sandwiches here. One selects a burger and adds in whatever they want from a selection of items. The milkshake seems to be the same process. A normal burger has 2 patties and a little burger has one. The burger was fine and the items I requested were added appropriately. They have a Coke Freestyle here as well, and iced tea. The staff was talkative and interactive to the point that it was distracting to the experience. It was beyond«overly friendly» or even the same degree of enthusiasm at Gatten. They sang along to the radio music and talked overly loudly to each other while there were no customers in line. It felt like that time could be better spent cooking our order.

Overpriced and overhyped. The burger is not that great. If you’re looking for a quick, cheap burger, In-N-Out is not far from this location. Overall, my experience was not good. The only reason that it’s not getting a lower rating is that the fries are decent and they offer free peanuts and free is always good.

Five Guys has very tasty burgers and fries. The meat is very good and they do not skimp… two patties on regular burger. The fresh French fries are cooked in peanut oil which have that nice flavor. The also provide salted shelled peanuts which is a nice touch.

In a nutshell — over priced, over hyped. Came here on a Sunday afternoon and got a burger and fries. The place was pretty dead and the kitchen had no orders in. Service was friendly enough, but not especially welcoming. The food took a good 10 minutes to come out, but I was expecting the wait as this is supposed to be a high quality cooked to order burger joint. All in all the quality was quite mediocre. Although the portion of fries was generous, they were soggy and over salted. I noticed that the staff had almost all the fryer baskets filled with portions of uncooked fries as if they were preparing for some rush. I seriously hope that isn’t their standard MO — definitely affected the quality. I had the burger«all the way» which means with the standard set of recommended toppings. Although the burger was sizable and the patties were meaty, I found it to be underwhelming. The patties seemed on the dry side and bland. The restaurant is decorated with a collection of quotes from various reviews that praise Five Guys. That unfortunately come off as a little try-hard for me. If you want a high-end burger I think Habit would be a better choice.

Usually I go to fast food places because the people I am with, be it Pal(like In N Out) or baseball peope I may be coaching or in this case my Korean partner. Believe be it is never my first, second or third choice and rather not eat than go to fast food joints, whether«fancy» ones or not. In fact, this mall has so many fine looking restaurants and a large Whole Foods, where we could have plenty of good and reasonable food. But not, he wanted me to try 5 guys. Blech! So, telling my Korean friend I was not a fan of In N Out, he said this place was way better and even slghtly costly. Ok, if you really want to go. Looking at the menu and seeing the calorie count I knew I was in big trouble for the rest of the day, trying to keep my count below 10,000. So I ordered the mini bacon cheese burger with about everything on it, we shared a large fries and he had a burger like mine and a «kosher» hot dog. I will well you, Don Rickles or Larry David never had that type of hot dog. So my burger was over salted, over cooked and the«everything» on it option included something called mushrooms but they looked more like brown poker chips. I don’t likey. The fries, where not so bad and better than those fries they peddle at In N Out that taste like fried saw dust. I only had about 10 of them, to again try to keep my calorie count below my brain cell count. So, yes free peanuts are a nice touch but they have a funny salted flavor. I hope never ever to have to go to this place again.

I’ve only been to this location once, and it was pretty good. It was almost empty, but it was cool that there was a big barrel of peanuts that anyone can have some for free. I got a bacon cheesebuger and fries. Their fries are so good! And so are their burgers. I know SoCal people love In-N-Out but I think that Five Guys is at least as good if not better. I hope that I have not broken some sacred rule by saying that! :P That said, I rarely eat at these kind of places because it’s definitely not healthy with all the grease. I definitely avoid fast food, but Five Guys is somewhere between fast food and a restaurant. But Five Guys is definitely great food, the place was pretty clean, and it is in a nice location. I would grade the service I received a C, not bad, but not good either. Then again, this was more than 6 months ago since I’ve been there. It is just not in an area with a ton of foot traffic which is probably the reason this location doesn’t get as much attention as it should. I do recommend this place, honestly sometimes I would have chosen this more often if I had thought of it but it just wasn’t on my mind. Now that I’m thinking about it I’d like to go again sometime soon.

Not really a fan honestly. In-n-out all the way. Food is fresh. Burgers can be customized which is always nice. Fries were nothing special but they give you a lot. The only thing that’s a big perk here is the free, unlimited peanuts, but I don’t really like peanuts.

+ Tons of extra fries will be thrown in your bag + Good food + Lots of burger toppings available for free + Coke machine(with mixture of all Coke products) + Free peanuts + Outside seating — Long wait times I’m a fan of Five Guys. There’s lots of debate as to which place is is the best burger joint. I would say this one ranks up there. Most locations I’ve been to(across the nation) are pretty much the same. This one in particular does seem to have pretty long wait times even when it isn’t very busy. Just this past weekend, I ordered 2 cheeseburgers and the wait was about 20 minutes. The upside… the person handling the fries this time put in a TON of extra fries in my bag. I ordered the regular order of fries, so that’s what he put in. Then he used his fry scoop and tossed in another full scoop. This is somewhat of a regular occurrence at Five Guys, but he probably tripled my fry order. I’m a fan of their fancy Coke machine. It is the one that has a mixture of all Coke products with different flavors. If Coke makes it, you can have it.

Great tasting burgers with toppings you decide upon. The standard burger is actually a double burger for $ 5 to $ 6. I suggest ordering it «all the way» which is every topping and condiment listed on the first line of their list of toppings. Order the large fries only if you’re really really hungry. Seriously. As you wait for your order, they offer roasted peanuts in the shell for your enjoyment for free. A little weird at first, but a nice touch after you’ve had some. Just help yourself!

Hm… Pretty sure I have already reviewed this place… But ok. I came here for a hot dog. The hot dog is what you wanna get here. My friend had a burger from them, I tried a bite, wasn’t impressed at all. But the hot dog! You can put as many toppings as you like on it(for free!), the buns are delicious, and they cut the hot dog in half, which drains some of the fat out! Also free peanuts, but that makes the place kinda messy inside.

FREEPEANUTS! Grab a bowl and fill up to your heart’s content. This Five Guys is located in The District at Tustin Legacy across from Tilly’s. The«Little» Burgers are not little at all! They seem like regular sized burgers to me! I can’t imagine how big a «regular» burger from here would be! The cool thing about Five Guys is that you can add as many free toppings as you want! Choose from mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup, mustard, relish, onions, jalapeño peppers, green peppers, A1 Steak Sauce, BBQ sauce, and/or hot sauce! The burger itself is alright. I definitely felt the need to add a lot of toppings, since without them, I think the burger would be bland. Fries are pretty good. They are always overflowing out of the container and into your bag. Overall, service is fast, and there is plenty of seating.

This Five Guys continues to go down in quality. I’ve noticed it for some time. That led us to go less frequently in hopes that when we did return to spend money, that it would be better. Sadly, it isn’t. Though the staff is helpful, both the quality and quantity are lagging. Though this review is for this visit to Five Guys, the same could be said of the last 4 or more visits. First, the burgers are now consistently cold or lukewarm at best. Always. The buns are never toasted or warn at this location. The meat is so cold that it doesn’t even begin to melt the cheese. in the past, for $ 5 of gross, one could share that with 3+ people, which is how they often up sell you to justify the $ 5 high cost of fries. Now today, knowing the stinginess of this location, we bought $ 8 of fries, a large and a medium, and it was less than one large used to be. So the value and quality has than a great hit in the last 15 – 18 months. Also, the location of the lids and straws make no sense compared to the soda machine. That’s an expensive $ 49 lunch for 4 at a noon sit down, noon full service burger joint. I guess it’ll be another 6+ months before we return. There are simply to many good and consistently reliable restaurants in the OC than to return here. We hope it comes back up in quality and value, but nice skills from a friendly staff just aren’t enough.

I’m giving this place more of a 3.3 star. I just read an article asking if this was really the best burger chain… even if it isn’t, someone put that thought out there. Sadly, I can’t say that it is in my book. Everyone was super friendly, including the burgermeisters who call your number to come get your food. They also walk around periodically to clean and ask if everything is going well for us. Very sweet! We ordered a cheeseburger, a veggie burger and a hot dog, «all the way» on all three. We threw in a large order of fries because it was Friday… what the heck, it’s the weekend! Assessment of the food. The burger didn’t knock my socks off. The patty was lacking in the flavor department. What I did enjoy was the veggie burger though it was extremely messy and ended up requiring a fork and knife to finish. The hot dog ended up being very salty but not too bad. The biggest disappointment were the fries… limp and soggy from the moment we got them.(cue sad horn sound effect here) It was rather empty when we got there at around 6pm on a Friday. Business picked up a little by the time we finished but I can’t help but think they might feel the heat of that new marketplace opening up across the way.
