The environment is very good, located in the center of the district! Lots of people love the pistachio smoothie but I think the kale smoothie tastes good as well! It’s both healthy but sweet due to the honey! Great place for studying as well but seats are limited and wifi speed is limited as well.

I’d been craving Boba and decided to stop by and check out Boba Time. There’s a $ 5 minimum for credit/debit card purchases or else there’s a 25 cent surcharge. I got the classic tapioca milk tea and was disappointed. The flavor wasn’t that smooth and the Boba balls weren’t quite as chewy as I was expecting. I was already suspect since about the place since it looks a little too«corporate». I won’t be coming back again.

Came here craving boba one rainy day thinking that it would be like the it’s Boba Time in ktown and was extremely disappointed. I got the honey green milk tea w boba and my bf got the Hokkaido milk tea and I have to say that both drinks were disgusting. Both were super powdery and he said his tasted like baby formula which I started to agree with. Furthermore the boba was mushy and didn’t taste fresh to me. The quality is not similar to the one at ktown whatsoever. Wouldn’t come again since we went out of our way to come here.

What’s cool about Boba Time that sticks out against Lollicup and Tapioca Express is their flavors. They have some flavors that those places don’t even touch. My favorite are the Pistachio and the Red Bean. The Red Bean is to die for, especially if you like those Taiwanese desserts where these are on top of some sort of condensed milk. Yeah, its like all that goodness blended up into a cup. Prices are decent and consistent, maybe a little on the higher side… but easily overlooked given their selection. Oh yeah, Horcahta smoothie?! Say whaaaat???

I have to say, this place is pretty awesome. Came here with my friends about a week ago since we had a couple of hours to spare before dinner and wanted to find a place to hangout and play some board games we brought with us. Fortunately, there weren’t too many people, otherwise we probably wouldn’t have done this. But we ended up getting some drinks and shaved ice. My friend got this green kale smoothie, which was surprisingly really good and refreshing! We got the green tea shaved ice. I think it came out to be around $ 6 – 7 which is super reasonable considering the portion size and the amount of toppings it came with(boba, green tea ice cream, strawberries, condensed milk, etc). I really liked it! I wish I could’ve tried their other items(boba milk tea). The waitstaff is really nice. The place is clean, and the music here is pretty good. Unfortunately, they don’t have their own restrooms, but there are some right across the store. I would come back again if I’m in the area.

It’s okay. I excited that another boba shop has opened up in Irvine and especially in the district. I had high hopes but I shouldn’t have. This place isn’t anything special. Their milk teas are plain and isn’t anywhere good. Their drinks need some work and versus their other competitors, are way better than this. Their boba is good though but their drinks are the issue.

With the weather being cold and a downpour of rain, I ordered the Hot Taro Milk Tea but received the Iced Taro Milk Tea. Didn’t care to raise this as a problem since I got what I technically paid for on my receipt! Two stars because there’s no food and just a lack of interest in customer service from the one male cashier.

I’ve been trying many different Boba places in Orange County and this is definitely the best one! I always get the the Coconut Frappé or the Strawberry Coconut slush and they have never been sub par. My wife gets the Taro slush and says the Taro here is the best she has had.

Everything I have had here has been really good! The Ginger Honey hot tea soooo amazing~! The Matcha Milk tea Yum~! The Green juice surprised me– It was. Very good~! My only complaint is that it was filled halfway with foam, So I feel like I was served a drink already half gone. I would order again, but less foam please~!

God damn… this place is now on door dash. This will be the death of me. It was always inconvenient for me to come here since it’s tucked in the middle of The District. Ain’t nobody got time for that(definitely not a quick in and out — parking can be a beez too). Plus, the service there is always a hit or miss. Sometime they get a big crowd and it takes forever to get your order and sometimes it’s easy and quick. I know there’s some haters out there, but those guys are probably ordering their basic drinks(thai tea… milk tea). My suggestion is to venture out and try something that you can’t find in order boba joints. My personal favorite is their coconut strawberry slush. I can say so many good things about this drink. It’s a coconut slushie with strawberry bits at the bottom. They make the perfect combination. The best thing about this place isn’t their drinks themselves, but the quality/texture of their boba. I don’t think they use honey boba, which is a good thing because the drinks tend to be on the sweeter side. If you’re not a sweets person, I suggest asking for half sugar. The boba is chewy and perfectly cooked. I normally don’t like to get boba because of the number of calories per ball, but for this place I wouldn’t mind making an exception. Overall this place is great. Door dash it if you don’t like to deal with the crazy parking and their inconsistent customer service.

5 Stars solely for the Pistachio Frappé. I’ve tried sips of friends’ drinks before but I only get the Pistachio Frappé if I had to choose a drink to myself. It has bits of pistachio nuts, isn’t too sweet, and you can add in the honey boba for free! They also have a stamp card, which will fill up fast, and then you can repeat your boba cycle again. Even better is that before you stick a straw in the sealed lid, put the drink in your purse to bring inside the movie theater! Now you don’t have to pay $$$ for movie concessions.

Smacked in the middle of endless choices of restaurants and tea offerings we decided to push our already filled stomachs closer to the edge of «Why, why on Earth did I decide that dessert was a good idea?». All those times you think to yourself it was a huge mistake to go for bubble tea or dessert after a gut busting meal you would instill some sort of early warning mechanism for your future self to not listen to your foolish self. My friends, this time, it was no different. I was still a foolish young adult another questionable choice. However, I do not regret one single minute of it. We had just crushed some BBQ and beer and I wanted a good keep me busy activity for the drive across LA. So like any sane person I chose this chain of bubble teas and it was glorious. Nothing fancy here folks, go in, look at the menu and order. The really cool thing I enjoyed was they had a handy top 10 list of popular drinks that would change based on patronage. I chose the tried and true original tea flavor which was top five and also the number drink for Tina: Cookies and Cream. You’re probably confused, cookies and cream??? Are we taking protein shakes? It honestly was such a rich and smooth flavor without leaving that sugar grittiness that I wish I ordered it for myself! It’s a shame I couldn’t return to try all the different flavors! TL;DR: Amazing cookies and cream flavor, so many flavors to choose from. Parking is definitely an issue!

Not very special boba joint to me. Prices are fair. Service was good. Lots of options on the menu. If you’re at the District and need some boba then it’s the place to go. Hokkaido: Super sweet and creamy. Not what I’m used to Cookies n’ Cream Shake: Delicious. Especially for kids. Not special though because you can get something similar somewhere else.

Atmosphere: small boba tea shop Ordered items: milk tea boba and a strawberry smoothie The staff is helpful, the have a large variety of to choose from. I personally have had better milk tea this milk tea was too watery and more than half the cup was boba I felt like I had to throw it all away to enjoy the tiny bit of tea in the cup. I didn’t try the smoothie but he sucked it down in a minute so I’m assuming it was delicious.

It’s boba time… or not! It is not worse than Tapioca Express but it isn’t worth a try. If you like power and water you will like this place. I tried this place a few times because of the convenient location and the short lines. The price is on the higher side and quality is blah. I understand this may be a chain store, but if you are badly craving boba. I say go to Sunmerry in Irvine or the best of the best Seven Leaves in Tustin! Not recommended unless you like the taste of powder.

That’s right! It’s Boba Time! I remember when I was walking by this boba place after shopping at G-stage and I had to do a double take because I was surprised and excited that the spot just opened. However, I’ve been here several times and it still does not fancy my taste buds such as giving me a WOO-HOO moment, but only an A-OK one. Service: The staff at boba time are somewhat friendly, but at the same time do not notice if you walk into the store at times. I can hear them laughing in the back(which is nice), but to laugh and to forget that you have customers who are waiting in line is no where near A-OK. Décor: This place is pretty decent sized for a boba spot. There is a lot of room for tables and seats for customers to enjoy their time there. However, there are no restrooms here so you would have to travel across the area to use the public restrooms. Drinks: Cookies n Cream — This drink was pretty decent. You can really taste the cream inside them oreos. It is considered their #1 popular drinks. Green Tea Frappé — You can taste the green tea, but sad that it shall melt away quicker than most drinks so you better slurp it up. It is considered as the 5th top 10 items. Thai Milk Tea — The Thai Milk tea did not taste any special and the overall flavor was just plan okay. It is considered the #6 top 10 items. Coconut Strawberry — Coconut mixed with other flavors can either go really good or really bad. The mix did not go good together and is considered their #9 popular drinks. Taro Slush — It is a safe drink to get and is consider their #10 popular drinks. Watermelon Strawberry Slush — This drink did not taste good. I can see why they told me not to order the watermelon by itself. The strawberry just added more sugar to the drink and will not make you want to drink more of it. **NOTE: You can order shaved ice in a cup here as well! **NOTE: Ask for a stamp card! So if you buy 10 drinks then you can get a drink for free for a certain amount. **NOTE: There is a minimum charge if you decide to use your credit card. It’s Boba Time is a place to stop by if you are shopping, eating, or going to the movies at the District. I can’t say that it would be a must go place, but it shall satisfy your boba cravings for the time being. So can you tell me what time it is? Because I know what time it is and it’s boba time! As Always, NOMFORLIFE!!!

All the time in the world is the time for the boba! Came here with Natasha because I wanted a drink and we were around in the neighborhood. This is located in the District, near G stage :) Taro milk tea with boba– YES. Taro milk tea was not über sweet and tasted subtle, which is what I like. Even better tho? The boba was soft and squishy! OMG their pearls were REALLY good. Like legit. I would totally come here again because their boba is one of the better ones that I’ve had. The store itself is spacious and they have enough room to fit a good amount of people. If you need a restroom, one’s located on the opposite side of this store. The service is nice, as they are patient and answer your questions. The time takes about 5 – 7 minutes for them to make. Try it out! Ask for their stamp card!

Not gonna lie I really didn’t expect much from this place but I was pretty impressed when I exited the door. I had seen this place for quite a while and wanted to just try it for the sake of it. I came through right after K. dot and I finished up at Kettlebar. We were greeted by the owner(a very nice lady who seemed really proud of her product). She took our order and proceeded to take store front picture(maybe to post on social media lol). I ordered the peach lemonade and the homie some kinda drink(I wasn’t paying attention). It took a couple of minutes and the drinks came out. First sip and I was left pretty impressed with my selection. Right as I was drinking I see the sign of their top 10 popular drinks… sighh I gotta come back to try number 1, 2,3. Anyways, back to the drinks we did have. The peach lemonade was a breath of fresh air. It was beyond refreshing. There was not too much ice… all drink. K. dot stated that his drink was pretty good too(being the picky person he is). The boba impressed him a lot(too often have I heard him complaining about his boba). So this place is legit!!! The store is really clean. I mean it is spotless. The downside is there is no restrooms which really sucks. I love the clock they got where it says Boba Time. Yes it is always boba time! PS lots of indoor seatings PPS friendly staff

Been here a few times, and I’m not super impressed with their drinks. They changed up their menu from when I last went a couple months ago because the tea selection has dwindled to only a few teas that are commonly found at every boba/tea shop. I remember they used to have guava tea, but it’s not there anymore. For shame! That drink was pretty good. This time, I got a rose milk tea and my boyfriend got a hokkaido milk tea. My rose milk tea was okay — it was pretty watered down. The hokkaido milk tea was okay too, but I think I’ll stick to boiling point if I want this type of drink. Drinks here are average, and I wouldn’t come out of my way just to get their drinks. However, it is a quick and easy fix for those who do want boba and are nearby!

I was totally surprised at how tasty this boba shop actually is. It seems like a chain, and seeing to it that it is at the somewhat pricier District plaza, I would assume this place would just be another generic boba shop serving up mediocre, but not memorable, milk teas. But WOW was I wrong. I had ordered their Pistachio Frappé. All their drinks come with free boba, which is nice, considering boba is always an annoying add-on for price. It was their #2 most popular drink(behind their Cookies n’ Cream Shake) and it was DELICIOUS. Sweet, rich, but not too thick, it was a perfectly sweet Pistachio blend. They also blend it with REAL pistachio nuts which is awesome. I had also tried my friend’s Cookies n’ Cream shake and it tasted just like ice cream. Rich and creamy and sweet and lovely – don’t need to add the boba there. I also tried some of my friend’s Mocha Frappé which you could surprisingly REALLY taste the coffee and wasn’t overpoweringly sweet – PERFECT mocha flavor. I love my coffee flavor so that was nice. The whole place seems very clean and spacious and it’s a nice, well-lot shop. No charm as it does seem like your average shopping mall chain, but it definitely has solidified its presence here as the only boba shop in this plaza. So tasty and creamy, offering some awesome drink varieties, from sea salt coffee to sweet potato lattes to shaved ice and more, this place is the ultimate sweet tooth. And it sure does taste good. I could definitely see myself coming back here for another drink if I’m in the area.
