Had lunch and was pretty disappointed. The service was mediocre at best. Our server was impersonable and not very helpful. The food is the reason I went there as I’ve eaten there before and enjoyed it. But this time it was inedible. I ordered everything mild, but everything came out super sweet. Huh? The tom kha was sweet, and the fish cakes were ok(pretty oily) but served with a sweet sauce, but the worst was the crispy garlic chicken. They should rename it to candy chicken. I’m pretty sure it was made with sugar, not honey, and it was so sticky and sickly sweet that every bite had my teeth covered in candy sugar. Not plesant. So, if you go there, don’t order those item, or order them spicy, I guess.

Wow! We frequent and enjoy both the Redmond and Issaquah locations — what a difference. Crispy basil chicken had a TON of breading with little meat. Soup was way salty, though free. Service inattentive even though the restaurant was half full. If the rude waitress’ staple answer to every inquiry is «give me just a minute» I won’t ever bother her again at this location…

Had a chance to visit Seattle for the first time and wanted to check out some local restaurants and found this place on Unilocal which had 4 stars. Decided to check this place out on a Saturday night around 7pm restaurant was pretty full and had 1 party in front of us and waited about 15 mins. Once we got sat, our waiter came over and filled out water glasses and told us he’ll be right with us. 10 mins later after we decided what we wanted still hasn’t come by. I guess they only had on 2 servers at the time? I could see him running around to every other table. We ordered crispy garlic chicken, spring rolls, tom yum soup, and pad see ew. Crispy garlic chicken is a must! Definitely worth trying. So much flavor and delicious! Tom yum soup was super salty but decided to finish it anyway cause we were super hungry. Spring rolls were fresh and loved the peanut sauce it came with! Pad see ew was okay, definitely had better pad see ew at every other Thai place I’ve ever been too. Service was eh. Refilled our waters and checked on us once or twice not really attentive. Overall this place was okay if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat.

Bai Tong is my favorite Thai restaurant because of the excellent food and service. They are consistent at all three locations(Redmond, Southcenter, and Issaquah). Good quality Thai food and people! Some of my fav dishes include the Fresh Rolls(best peanut sauce!), Gai Hor Bai Toey(chicken goodness), Phad Ki Mao, Crispy Ginger Chicken, and the Fried Coconut ice cream… yes, DEEPFRIEDICECREAM.

We happened upon this awesome little gem while just trying to find something to eat. The Hubs spotted it as we were driving by. It was lunchtime in a strip mall-ish area and we were just hungry enough to try it. Driving into the parking lot, we were barely lucky enough to get a parking. There were several restaurants and other establishments, so we thought, what the hell, let’s check it out. We walked into a completely crowded place. And, I must admit, I was quite surprised! From the outside, one would not expect the elegantly decorated and pleasing to the eye experience that awaited us from the dingy, uninspiring, outside strip mall sign above the actual eatery. The place was absolutely crowded! We had to wait 10 minutes before we were seated. However, once we were inside waiting, we knew we had picked the right place. Once seated, our waitress promptly took our order and 10 minutes later, we were in Thai heaven. I had the drunken noodles, which were delicious and he had the garlic chicken delight and was pretty happy with it. We had Thai iced teas to go with it and they complimented it perfectly. This is a great find and a definite must for friends and fam who have just flown in! A great«welcome to Seattle» before we actually get to Seattle!

Fantastic service and the food was delicious! Been to many Thai restaurants in the area and this one surpasses all others. Crispy garlic chicken, red chicken curry was superb! Definitely will return!

Food was good. Ordered pad Thai, the papaya salad, and fried chicken. Servers always made sure that water was filled in cups and always checked in on us. Only reason I’m giving 4⁄5 stars is because it was so squished and tight in terms of spacing

So good! A little pricey for Thai food but it’s a nicer place than others nearby in regards to décor and service. My favorite is the honey garlic chicken and the thai iced tea is seriously awesome! They have a few different kinds and the coconut Thai iced tea is so yummy and unique– it has a toasted coconut flavor and coconut jelly on top! :) Also, they are a pretty small place and get very busy on weekends, just fyi there is standing room only for the wait.

This was my first time coming here and had heard mixed reviews about this place. We didn’t realize it until we got inside, but it was happy hour so our party of 4 ordered some food off that menu as well as a few other dishes… pad thai, crispy garlic chicken, fresh spring rolls, fried crab wontons. Firstly, service sucks. At least for us it did. Our waiter was SO impatient and we just felt rushed to order. He was just plain rude. We told him that another two may be joining our party later on and another worker grabbed the two person table and combined it with our table towards the end of our dinner. Anyway, the happy hour pad thai is such a small portion… The crispy fried chicken is so sweet and disgusting! It tasted like they fried the chicken in sugar. It was though, very crispy. The fried crab wonton tasted like cold cottage cheese inside of the wonton. Wow… I was surprised they’d even serve their customers this grossness. We also ordered a regular(dinner) size pad thai to go and when it came out, my gosh. The portion was exactly as small as the happy hour portion. Hmmmm… But we were charged the regular menu price. The fresh spring rolls were delicious. But for $ 6 for two, it’s not worth it. I also ordered a glass of wine in which they only filled like 15%-20% of the glass. Stingy place, disgusting food, bad service. Our bill had to be redone three times because they couldn’t get it right. He kept snatching the bill out of my hand saying, «is it correct now?» Also, we were charged an automatic gratuity of 15% even though the other two in our party didn’t come until we were right about to leave. That wouldn’t have been a big deal had our service been decent. Too many other quality Thai restaurants around this area to waste your appetite and money here. Yuck.

The food wasn’t bad it just wasn’t Thai food. There wasn’t much Thai flavoring in any of the dishes. It’s very Americanized. It would say it’s more Asian fusion than Thai.

We went to the the smaller location in Tukwila, the food was actaully really good. We had just missed lunch, so we ordered from the regular menu. Food was good, khao soi was a big portion so i had leftovers and my husband like his pad krao pao.

I’ve never eaten Thai food before I came to Seattle. Bai Tong is the first Thai restaurant that I had eaten at. I never thought that I could love Thai food until I got to this restaurant. The food here is really delicious. I tried the chicken Pad Thai for the first time I came here. It was really terrific. The noodle, chicken and purple cabbage shredded were blended together with the sauce that is a little bit sweet and sour with mashed peanuts. It made me love Pad Thai at the first time I tasted it. I always order it every time I come here. I also tried some dishes such as fried rice, tom yum soup, red curry, pad kee mao, crispy garlic chicken. All of them were really yummy and scrumptious. I especially liked the crispy garlic chicken. Its flavor was amazing. It was crispy outside, tender with chicken inside, and some fried basil leafs on top. The balance of sweet and spicy in the sauce is controlled perfectly. It’s not too sweet or too spicy. The service here is really professional. They are fast, cheerful and friendly. I also like the way they decorated here. It’s warm and quiet that makes me feel comfortable. The price is reasonable– not too expensive. But sometimes I had to wait for a little bit for a table. Make sure you have a reservation if you want to eat dinner during the weekends. But I think it’s worth it to wait to enjoy a hearty meal.

This is probably the best thai place in the southcenter area, but honestly that isn’t saying a whole lot. I have tried the pad thai and crispy garlic chicken here, and both were decent. I cant say it was bad, but it wasn’t good enough where we have felt compelled to return. If I were in the area, and wanted to eat thai food, I’d probably come here again. But it’s not a place where I’d seek out. The décor was nice, and the service was ok. I thought the food was a bit over priced for the quality you got.

Came here for dinner after holiday shopping at the mall. It was packed and we had to wait 30min. I liked that they had buzzers or whatever for us to hold on to while we can kill time at the book store near by. We did that and after being seated, ordered right away and somehow the food was ready in about 5min while I used bathroom. I guess the noodle dishes don’t take too much time here. The noodles(forgot the name but not pad thai) were fine and had large portion so we took some home. The server was very nice and we got the 10% with the check in so I enjoyed dinner.

Great place to experience authentic Thai food. I must say this is busy place. Be prepare to wait. Tom Kah soup is great experience. It has coconut milk and lots of various kids of natural spices. It tastes bit sour taste with a touch of spicy(hot). My other dishes are various flavors of Chicken Fried rice. My kids loved Yellow Curry Chicken Fried Rice which is not spicy at all. Chicken Pad Thai has sweetness to it. Very little chicken were included. I am only awarding 3 stars, otherwise it would have been 4 or 5, because just for 3 adults and 2 kids they have already added 18% tip without telling us. Food was great however, service is very poor as we did not even get water refill nor no one care to ask how we are doing? I have included my bill as evident of 18% tip charge. Not Impressed.

Crispy Fried Garlic Chicken or whatever is so gooood! Also the Tom Yum soup with the added coconut milk(I forgot what it’s called in Thai). I’m also a fan of their Pad See Ew, Snow Crab Fried Rice, and of course their Happy Hour. Try to avoid this place during busy lunch and dinner hours since the wait kind of sucks, especially when it is cold out. Also, you’re not allowed to make same day reservations(which is weird to me but I don’t know how these things work) so if you wanted to save a spot ahead of time, it has to be on a different day.

What a hip and trendy little spot. The servers are dressed very nice in matching attire. The décor is dark and clean with pops of bright green. Came in for lunch and were seated quickly. I ordered tom yum soup with fresh rolls and my friend got the chicken pad Thai and egg rolls. Food came out surprisingly fast. Great spot to go for lunch when you are short on time from work. Even the lunch portion sizes are large. We had food left over to take to-go. Spicy level is 1 – 5. My friend ordered 1 and said she could not taste it. I ordered 3 and thought it was ok. We ordered food to go for the office and the person who ordered 4 star said it was right on.

I came here several times a few years ago and didn’t care for the service as it was always slow. I recently had lunch here with my family and I have to say that the service is a lot better. Our beverages were always filled and we were checked on regularly, even though they were really busy. We had ordered the appetizer sampler which included spring rolls, wontons and fish cakes. We also had the shrimp pad thai, crispy trout, crispy garlic chicken and the salmon curry. All of the dishes were good. The prices here is a bit on the higher side compared to other Thai restaurants. They do need to wipe the menus with clean towels though. The menu I was given smelled of an old wet towel. Hence the three stars.
