GREATFOOD! GREATFLAVOR! Came across this teriyaki joint when I was furniture shopping in the area. I ordered the following: House fried rice — tasted great! I would say probably the 2nd or 3rd best I’ve ever had. They use real ingredients and not processed meats like block ham that some places use. It came with beef, pork, shrimp(huge), and veggie mix. Wasn’t too greasy and tasted great! Spicy chicken teriyaki — great taste. The spice was mild. Came with a bed of rice and veggie side. The amount of chicken was huge. The pieces were juicy and good sized. Overall flavor was great! Love the little flame charred flavor on the chicken pieces. Gyoza — good flavor. Ordered as a side for my kids. They loved it! Overall, I encourage you to check this place out. The service was very nice and the place was clean. Prices were a bit below average so that was a plus!

Chairs were very dirty which makes me question the kitchen that I can’t see. Got a to go order. Got chicken and gyoza and no gyoza sauce! The salad dressing were so sparse. Will never go there again!

This place has decent Teriyaki. I have eaten there a few times because they have a good value. The quality — cost + convenience leaves them with a high score in my opinion. They aren’t gourmet but they will fill your belly just fine. They understand spicy, I asked for super spicy chicken and mushrooms and they delivered — they get an extra point for that.

I have no complaints about their food, however I am disappointed that their website does not reflect the real prices for their food. I went in today to buy some house fried rice, and the website says it’s $ 7.49, but I was charged over $ 12 when I came in. I have never been charged over $ 8.50 total for house fried rice this entire time I’ve been going here! I’ve also NEVER been charged for asking for extra spicy. When I mentioned to the cashier that their website states something completely different, she just said«Oh must not be updated» and proceeds with her transaction. If your website is not updated, you should be acknowledging the price you have posted when a customer brings it to your attention. False advertisement. I won’t be coming back. Everyone else be aware that the menu online is wrong.

While teriyaki places tend to be a dime a dozen, you always want to ensure you take note of the good ones. This is certainly on the list and I am using them for corporate lunches since they also«cater» which means making mass quantities and putting it in aluminum pans! I have had the beef and chicken, spicy and not spicy. Both are good, there is absolutely no spice to the«spicy» one, which is unfortunate. I like their shredded cabbage salad instead of the ice berg most serve. The staff are friendly, the place is ok, if you are eating in. OH and the store next door is just down right strange, what a hodge podge. Certainly recommend this place if you are in the Southcenter area!

Id give it a better score but i ordered 2 teryaki chickens to go the food was good but the issue was there was no sauce on the chicken essential it was just grilled chicken and you get this little like ¼ ounce size cup half filled with teryaki sauce as if its goign to be enough. it didnt even soak into the rice. Make sure to get extra sauce as they do not put anywhere near enough for even 6 pieces let alone the entire meal.

Nice little family owned place. The resaurant is a good size and their menu is nice and big. First thing i noticed when I approached the counter was how clean everything was. The owner is nice and polite, also funny at times lol. Food was really good as well, price range is about $ 7-$ 10 and thats with a generous portion size. I’d highly recommend their phillycheese steak, its a nice size and the fries are nice and crispy! Perfect place for lunch!

It’s a bit divey but I like that in a teriyaki restaurant. Also off the beaten path but I was over dropping my husband off at the train station and was craving some teriyaki. Was really good and I like their fried rice. It was a sticky kind of fried rice and their teriyaki sauce is delicious. I like that you get a side of steamed cabbage. It’s one of my favorite things at teriyaki restaurants. Overall very tasty.

Ive been here a bunch of times for lunch while working in the area and on the way home before hitting the Sounder train to Lakewood. Prices are standard for a teriyaki place. $ 2 – 6 Apps, $ 7 – 10 entrée places and $ 1 sodas to drink. What’s awesome is that it’s connected to a small corner store that sells fried chicken wings for $ 1 so that can be the appetizer if they have 5 or 6 of them in the warmer. My wife, myself and our 11yo daughter ate there the other day for an early dinner. For an entrée, cheeseburger lunch special(which is a burger and fries for my daughter), A house fried rice, BBQ prk fried rice and an order of Gyoze and spring rolls was $ 31. Not bad on our budget. That’s right in the wheelhouse of my «eat out» budget of $ 8−15/person including everything. My daughter and wife did have waters but still not too bad. The only thing hindering my 4th star is the House fried Rice. I have always ordered the BBQ Pork which is seasoned, Full of meat and yum. My wife is a house rice girl so she ordered her regular. The rice was a little soggy and she had a total of 1 shrimp in her order. LOL! Funny actually but that is the only downside. Love the spring rolls because they are always fresh and the people are super nice and welcoming.

Great little spot when you’re hankering for a homemade dish. This teriyaki shop has a wide variety of options ranging from Japanese, to thai, and American! My personal faves are the phad thai, spicy mushroom chicken, and PHILLYCHEESESTEAK! Yes, I said Philly cheesesteak! It’s the best I’ve ever had, especially when I order it spicy! The meat is tender and moist, just melts in your mouth. The man who runs the shop is very friendly and enjoys small talk, he’s quite personable.

Good Spicy Chicken Teriyaki — not the best but the fact that they are open at 9AM to feed me lunch as I fly in from the East Coast(where my body thinks it is lunch) it is a great location from SeaTac. Owner very nice and service is tops!

Came here for the first time less than 3 weeks ago and ordered spicy chicken teriyaki and asked for no rice, just vegetables. It was great. On my second visit I had a teriyaki lunch special that included four pieces of gyoza and again, it was delish. However, during my last TWO visits they screwed up my order. I had ordered to-go when they screwed up the first time, so I didn’t realize it until I was at my destination. I had ordered my spicy chicken teriyaki, no rice(just vegetables), sauce on the side. What I got: a massive pile of rice, sauce on the chicken, and only a tiny bit of vegetables. I thought after the first screw up, it probably wouldn’t happen again or at least not anytime soon. When they screwed up my order a second time in a row, that was it. Now, I didn’t call them out either times because 1) I’m not the type of person to make a scene or complain and 2) The owner is this cute, elderly woman. I would have felt too bad. In the end, I’ll be searching for another teriyaki joint where I can get my high sodium fix and where my order will be… what I ordered.

Found this thanks to Unilocal when I was in the area and I’m glad I did! It may not look like much from the outside but this is one of those killer Teriyaki places you need to hit up. Had the prawn teriyaki and it was awesome, large prawns, good portion of rice and salad, everything fresh and took little time to get the food. The staff is super friendly and are fun to chat with. Glad I found them, I’ll be back!

Best teriyaki in the outhcenter area hands down and they have such a great big menu. Try the mango chicken teriyaki, or the philly cheesesteak!

This place has everything! One of the better teriyaki places around the area. I come here when I know I’m craving Asian food but can’t decide exactly what. They have like 15 types of fried rice, all kinds of teriyaki dishes, and a million other entrees. The shrimp spring rolls are fantastic and fresh! They don’t come with peanut sauce, they actually have a special dressing that it much better. This is a great place for a quick lunch either to sit in or take to go. Everything on the menu is under $ 10 too!

I’ve eaten here a couple times. It’s location is hard to find, but it’s the next lot over from Well’s Fargo Bank. There are a lot of varieties of Asian cuisine, from Chinese, Malaysian, Thai, Singapore, to Vietnamese. If you want to skip all of that, you can order a Philly Cheese Steak, Cheeseburger, or Teriyaki Burger. Their specialty is, as the name points out, Teriyaki. Their Chicken Teriyaki is standard and the portions big enough to feed two to three people. It comes with a lot of meat, rice, and some steam vegetables, but the teriyaki sauce is overwhelming sweet and they ladle it generously over everything. I’ve tried their House Fried Rice, which wasn’t bad. It contained shrimp, pork, and some stripes of beef. The overall taste reminded me of the Chinese food you can find in the International District: piping hot and with that caramelized aroma that you can only get from a using a wok. And like most Asian food, it is greasy. The next item I tried was their Pork Phad Thai. It came with bright cabbage and bean sprouts, though it’s not the most authentic Phad Thai. They do not use the dry chili flakes for the spiciness. Instead, they use a hot sauce that was rather liquidity and it made all of the rice noodles soggy. I won’t be ordering this again. The best thing I had from Yamada is their Philly Cheese Steak with fries. It was a very large sandwich with all the fixings between two toasted and buttered loaves of bread. However, the meat had a little too much salt on it and I wish they would add more vegetables. Overall, it was the best sandwich I’ve had. The owner is very nice and will answer any questions you might have from their abundant menu choices. They also deliver, which is very convenient! If you want something quick and easy, you should definitely eat here!

Many a time I’ve enjoyed the chicken, the chicken and beef, and the pork here, you definitely can’t go wrong. Even the salad was tasty, but get extra dressing. You can also ask for spicy, which I recommend… Things that are maybe a downer– The parking is limited, the restaurant shares a lot with a convenience store that is owned jointly, so in fact you can walk between the two inside if you want to grab a drink the restaurant doesn’t offer. Another downer is trying to pull into this place if you’re going North on Andover Park E., you have to cross traffic and it gets fairly annoying as it’s near a very busy intersection. Also not open on Sundays, so beware… It may be inconvenient to get there, and you have an S-load of choices at the mall just a few blocks away, but it’s well worth it.

This place is a family run teriyaki restaurant with very friendly servers. Chiev, the lady usually in the front, has an uncanny ability at remembering names. I had a short chat with her on my first visit while i was waiting for my food and on the second visit she greeted me by my name which surprised me. I go eat here at least two times a week because I work and live near Southcenter Mall and it is very convenient. It is kind of awkward that it is connected to a deli mart but putting that aside the food is terrific! Thong, the chef, knows how to make such a large variety of food that i haven’t been able to try everything yet after coming here for over a month. This teriyaki shop is the BEST one that i have ever been to. Along with the normal teriyaki dishes you would normally order, there are Thai dishes, Cambodian dishes, and even American food like burgers, french dip and philly cheesesteaks! Honestly, I’m not from Philly but having tried other philly joints around, I would have to say this is by far the BEST cheessteak I have ever had. It comes out of the kitchen toasted and steaming hot and PACKED with meat. I usually have to tell them to not add so much meat, just so that I will be able to finish it. Thong will also make special orders for anyone if it is not busy. Just choose what meat, vegetables, etc. you want for the meal and he’ll whip it up for you for the price of a similar menu item. The prices are very reasonable too. No single menu item will run over $ 10 even with tax. I would definitely recommend that you try this teriyaki shop out.
