Mediocre food and service. I came with a bunch of girlfriends for lunch and we ordered a bunch of dishes to eat family style. We had the pad thai, pad kee mao, garlic chicken, Tom yum soup, fried rolls, and green curry. Every single dish was super sweet! Wayyy too sugary to taste any other flavors. AND the waitress was rude. Not coming back.

Best Tom Kha Soup in town! The noodle dishes are not too salty and come out with a lot of meat, yummy!

This place is hands down my favorite go-to thai restaurant, and probably my favorite restaurant in general! Everything on the menu is excellent. The quality comes from the fact that they use fresh ingredients and have great recipes, taking classic Thai dishes and just doing them major justice. They are always consistent in serving quality food even if they are busy(they usually are). But don’t worry, you won’t find yourself waiting long even if it’s packed because they have great service and plenty of staff who are on top of providing great customer service. This is a family owned business and they are just wonderful all around. Phad kee mao and tom kha soup are my favorites, but basically everything on the menu is awesome!

Pretty much my go to Thai restaurant. Best pad Thai hands down. Wong tong soup was delicious and the panang is always good. Their Thai iced tea is always perfect and the fresh rolls are soooo good. Never had an issue with the staff and I’ve never had to wait too long for my food. And when you tell them 5 star you get 5 star!!! Love it!

This is a decent Thai restaurant. I wouldn’t call this one of the best spots. I have had better Thai food. I only know this place from my coworkers, and we typically come here for lunch. The lunch menu is decent. It is about $ 9 — $ 10 per meal. My coworkers and I always order the garlic chicken combo. The chicken definitely is just below average, and the Pad Thai is just ok with slimy texture. The service is okay with the server stopping by your table asking if you still survive. I don’t know if I would come back here for an actual meal because it might not be worth it. I would still come here for the lunch combo if my colleagues still want to go for lunch.

Perhaps I went here on an off night… but myself and my guests thought this place was pretty bad. None of us finished our food on our visit, to put that in to perspective. Just to set the stage– i was completely FAMISHED when we came here. I had just done several hours of shopping at the furniture stores down the street, and had not eaten for probably 5 – 6 hours upon coming in here. The reason I think this is an important piece of info to have is that I honestly wouldve eaten anything and everything under the circumstances. I ordered the pad thai, and my first few bites went down well. A few bites in to it, though, I realized how absolutely sugary and sweet this pad thai was. The sugar completely overwhelmed all the other flavors of the dish. I thought maybe my mind was playing tricks, so I had others in my party taste it, and they all agreed. I can’t speak for how the dishes that my guests ordered tasted… but again, no one finished more than half of their food by the time we left. For me personally, I would not come here again.

I’ve been going to Mali Thai for the past 2 years and the food and service has always been so good! I usually order the beef pad see ew with no spicy and they make it exactly the way I like, very flavorful, which a lot of other Thai restaurants lack in their pad see ew(either too bland or too salty). I tried the yellow chicken curry last night(first time trying curry ever!) and it was so amazing, I might have to order that from now on! Soo good :) I did notice, however, the chicken was a bit too dry but that’s okay because I just added a lot of curry to it when I ate it. Mali Thai is one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to!

Thai restaurant is so competitive around this area because they are probably about 10 Thai spots to choice from within a 10 minutes radius. Mali Thai makes it on one of my place to go to for Thai food. This is located a bit farther from the mall, in the shopping complex where Party City and Ulta is so I would never have randomly stopped by until dozen of friends recommended this place to me. It’s a small, cozy, kind of dark atmosphere kind of place, but that could be because I always come during the dark hours. Haha. I’ve tried most popular Thai dishes like Tom Yum soup, pad thai, panang curry, etc. I’m impressed at all the dishes and is happy that it is still enjoyable to eat even with a 5 star spiciness level. Tell me about your experience if you’ve been here or is going to after reading this review:)

I have been a long time customer, I am so pleased with my food and service every time. You can never really go wrong with Thai food. I’m so satisfied and happy every time I walk out.

Mali Thai is definitely in my top 2 favorite Thai restaurants. Starting from the customer service, atmosphere/vibe, food and location— all I can really say are good things. I loved the interior decorating of the restaurant because it is set at the mellow tone which was nice. The waitress was very helpful, seated us quickly and always came around to check on my friend and I which was great. We ordered the Pad Khee Mao and Tom Yom and I was thoroughly impressed with the presentation and flavor in both dishes. Usually when I order Tom Yum, I order it with Seafood; but I decided to try it with chicken this time and it was just as tasty. Aside from it being my first time at Mali Thai, it was also my first time trying Pad Khee Mao and I thought it was pretty good. You can kind of compare Pad Khee Mao to Pad See Ew in a way, since it’s the same noodles and they both have meat. If you’re in the Southcenter area and want good quality tasting Thai Food, check this place out!

I’ve been a long time customer– and a loyal one too! Best Thai food in the area, definitely. My most recent visit was today. We came in a little after they were opened and they already had plenty of tables full! We ordered seafood tom yum(scallops, mussels, shrimp, squid and mushrooms). The sweet and sour broth was exactly what I needed for the cold weather! And they do not skimp on the seafood! We also got the Mali combo appetizer which came with crab delight, shrimp and cod fried in batter– probably my favorite dish of the day. Entrees were chicken yellow curry and chicken pad see ewe. The chicken they use is a little dry and overcooked, and the pad see ewe is on the sweeter side. Other than that, the food here is always on point. Service was great! Food came out pretty quickly and the servers were friendly. They forgot we ordered pad see ewe to-go, they were very apologetic and even gave me a free Thai tea for waiting :) Overall, a very solid restaurant! I love it and will continue to be a customer for as long as I’m in the area.

Food was not bad, I’ll give them that. I ordered a lunch special with pad thai and specifically asked for no peanut. Not sure if it was cross-contamination or what, because I had a mild allergic reaction from the food there. Maybe I’ll try it again and just order something that has a lower risk of causing an allergic reaction.

I don’t remember when I started coming here, but I want to say when I started seeing people’s photos on MySpace(ooh!) or Facebook of the infamous yellow plates full of phad thai or phad see iew I knew I needed to go try it out. Needless to say I fell I love the first time, but I’m starting to notice that their phad see iew is either a little sweeter than usual or on the burnt side. Not so appetizing. Sometimes it’s perfect and sometimes it’s not so awesome. It’s usually pretty busy from 5pm to 6:30pm for the dinner crowd. Service is great though, can’t knock them on that. Thanks for always filling up my water before I ask!

It says a lot for me to give a Thai food spot 4 stars simply because I’m not even a big fan of Thai food. Which is somewhat odd because I love spicy food — however the more that I frequent this place the more I find a love for Thai food. It’s a smaller quaint place in a strip mall of Southcenter shopping. Family owned and operated, I love the staff here. Always smiling and always available for any of your needs; I also notice they literally lap around the dining floor to ensure guests never have to look for someone. A few of my favorite dishes is the mango fish salad, pineapple chicken fried rice and panag curry. Always on point, always fresh and always 4 star spicy. I definitely will be back for more as it’s bar none one of the best if not the best place for Thai in the south end!

One of my favorite Thai places in the south. Usually my go-to place in Southcenter area. I love their papaya salad! The fish sauce blend they has is legit, ultimate fishy like I like it. Haha. Usually get a noodle dish here too, I feel you can’t go wrong. Tom yum is tasty too, esp during the colder months :)

This has become my favorite Thai food restaurant. I always come here if I have a say in it. This place has delicious phad see ew. Thaeres nothing«ew» about it. It’s well made, it’s a great portion size, and it tastes delicious. The employees are friendly and quick to serve. Always have a pleasant experience here. I always recommend this place. Will be back.

This isn’t my favorite Thai restaurant in the area but they are still pretty decent. The servers are pretty friendly(most of the time) and the ambience is really nice. My only thing here is that a lot of their food is extremely sweet for my liking. I know Thai food is pretty sweet to begin with, but they just kind of go overkill with the sugar. My fave things to get here are the Pineapple Fried Rice, Fresh Spring Rolls the Tom Yum. I like extremely spicy food so I always ask for 4 or 5 stars. They get it pretty spot on. They also refill your waters constantly so that’s always a plus for those who have weak taste buds!

I haven’t dined in here for awhile because there’s these specific two servers who lack in customer service. I’m not sure if they are still there. Anyways, decided to order take out tonight. I ordered gra tiem beef 3 stars and pad see ew beef 3 stars. Upon arrival at home and opening the bag, I was disappointed. Gra tiem was such a rip off. There was barely anything in there. Pad see ew is my favorite here but opening the box, I can already see there was barely any broccoli… I will probably be back in 6 months LOL
