Chinese Gourmet Express

First of all I want to say that the food is pretty decent here. However, quite greasy yet tasty. I’m almost certain that MSG is used in all the entrees prepared at this fast food mall stop. Although recently they have raised their prices and the quantity of food they used to give you has been lessened. Everything has been raised a $ 1. So now you pay $ 7 and some change for a 2 item entrée. I don’t know if they are just doing it for the holiday rush but if that is so, that’s just wrong. I paid about $ 9 and some change for a 2 item entrée and a large drink. It definitely wasn’t worth it and I didn’t get the amount of meats that they usually put. It was a Saturday night around 7:30 pm, there were loads of people in the food court and in the mall still shopping, and you barely had anything to choose from! Drop your prices back to normal and offer more of a variety of entrees.

Really bad Chinese food. Like panda express but worse. Just as pricey though. PASS!

Panda Express style Chinese food just worse. Yup, that’s right people, typical Mall food — Not pretty to look at, greasy, overpriced and if you go at the wrong time dried out. Coming here I really wasn’t surprised at the quality or limited choices but being new in town I didn’t know where else to go.
The double portion of Orange Chicken and Rice was enough for Hubby and I to share as a light Lunch and the young server was nice but the flavor was not right at all. Luckily I have been in town long enough now to really find the best Chinese and this isn’t it.

Terrible! They measure how much they put in the to go box. Sometimes they even take back some of the food already in the to box cause they put a little more food. Most of the food is salty.

This used to be my favorite chinese place! Back when it was actually ran by the lil old chinese men circa ‘95ish. Their noodles were THEE best in Tracy. But I moved to Hawaii and forgotten about their delish food. Came back to see what I was missing all these years and the noodles were not fresh, the fried rice flavorless, kung pow was the only good thing in my entrée, and orange chicken was eh. Have better on the islands. But to the real reason for the 1 star… I found a hair, to what looked like a pubic or armpit hair in my FRIED RICE. I know this is no 5 star dinning experience but common! I used to love you guys. Granted its a lil chinese place tucked into basically abandoned mall you were the shit up until last month.
Just steer away from this place and have one of the many other food choices. Hope for

Tried this place again, there fried rice, bbq pork & mandarin chicken are really good now, other items look like a hit or miss. Orange chicken was mostly breading & egg rolls taste like garbage (that is why it is free for the special). will update review after a few more visits, but try to get the items that look fresh! And stay away if it looks not very appealing, I recommend the bbq pork & mandarin chicken.

This place is the definition of bad mall food:
Really greasy
Not fresh
Very limited choices
Not great flavors
A little overpriced
Sub standard service.
Won’t be back!
