Best place to go for Chinese food. Recipes are great and prepared to perfection with healthy ingredients. Cindy is great owner Alex the manager Eddie the server… the staff will always work hard to please you. This is my families #1 place for Chinese food in Tracy. Try their soups also they are outstanding!!! My dad always loved their walnut prawns. :-) We have been going to this place for 15 years and have never been disappointed. Thanks Cindy and crew for such a great place!

Absolutely the best Chinese food! We are so lucky to have this awesome restaurant in Tracy.
I can’t recommend anything in particular because everything that I have tried is better than anywhere else I have ever eaten Mandarin style cooking.
The restaurant is beautiful, the staff very attentive and friendly. You won’t be disappointed.
I have been there 3 times and every time we leave with a smile. PS, the turtle tank must have gone thru a cleaning because it looked nice on our visits :-)

I moved here from Reno and I was really sad that I had to leave PF changs… This place blows the doors off PF. I don’t believe that I have had Chinese food this good before. Everything is fresh, the chicken is perfectly cooked. Pot stickers are over sized and very yummy. Everything we ordered was amazing. Tracy’s best Chinese by far! I definitely recommend it.

So you find yourself in Tracy. It kind of smells like cows, at least that’s what everybody from out of town tells you. You’re not really sure anymore because you’ve gotten so use to it. Anyway, you roll up to this beaten down old restraunt connected to a bunch of useless shops. It looks bad but you are adventurous. You go in and as others have complained about on Unilocal you see an old turtle in an aquarium. It’s a little sketchy but you proceed anyway. The waiter is super friendly so that helps calm your nerves. You are sat down to nice red table cloths and given complimentary hot tea and ice water. Things are looking up. You order anything on the menu you want, except you don’t, you take the advice of some dude on Unilocal; So you order (special villa prawns, Mongolian beef, and chicken fried rice). It’s served fresh and hot; you eat it. You think you died and went to Livermore because the food is the best you’ve ever had. No joke. Best Chinese Ever

This place has been serving Tracy residents for a long time, and have stayed in business because their food and service is Great. Their food is not the usual greasy Chinese food you’ll expect to get at other «fast– food» restaurants. You will not be disappointed.

If you don’t fall in love with your first visit to Mandarin Villa, I have to admit that you might be a bit crazy. Coming form the SF, I can truthfully say that this is one of the most authentic Chinese restaurants I’ve have ever eaten at. The FOOD is absolutely amazing, the staff is just as great, and the atmosphere is nice and tranquil.
I had the Honey Walnut prawns and they were cooked and glazed to perfection. The chicken chow mien was off the hook and so was hot and sour soup we ordered. Lastly, off the menu, one of the staff recommend pe-​kang chicken and it was beyond delicious. I’ve gone back numerous times just for that plate.
It’s a must visit restaurant in Tracy, CA if in the area!!!

Our family has been going to Mandarin Villa for over 17 years, and we are always happy to do so. This is the best Chinese food in Tracy, and the restaurant is pretty large for a Chinese place and very nice and clean. Cindy (the owner) and the guys who work with her are the nicest people and love to make their customers happy. Mushu Pork & Wor WonTon soup for appetizers which they serve to you, Lemon Chicken and Sizzling Prawns are a must! They have great iced tea too. There are big live turtles to look at in the waiting area.

I loved how the hong kong style chow mein came out crunchy and already pre-​portioned for easy serving.
The price was decent but the best part was being in and out of the place in half an hour. Pretty impressive for a non-​fast food joint.
Great meal, but we just wanted to get home ASAP.

I ordered chicken chow mien to go, to go along with our dinner that we had planned. I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular i had just been craving chow mien for a while. We got there and its just like any other Chinese place here in the valley.
They had this kind of dirty turtle tank. but the turtles were so cool and hella huge.
We got the chow mien and it was good. just plain ol chow mien.

Fresh and yummy food every time! And a very hospitable and kind staff.

My family loves this restaurant. We have been coming to Mandarin Villa for 24 years. We have never had a bad meal. Their food is fresh, hot and always served with a smile.
Some of our favorite dishes are, Hot & Sour Soup or Wor Won Ton Soup, Mu Shu Pork, Peking Prawns, Orange Chicken to name a few. If you are looking for good food and good service, then you have to visit this restaurant!

I somehow feel like I’ve let Unilocal down a little in having it take me over a year and many visits to Mandarin Villa to finally write a review. What can I say? I visit too many places, it’s hard to keep on top.
Anyhow, we’re not exactly spoiled for great food options in Tracy but this is one of mine and Hubby’s favorites. It’s consistent, the staff are friendly and we never have to wait for a table, it’s also the best Chinese in Tracy (not that there are many to choose from).
Honestly can’t fault any of the dishes here and we have tried a lot as you can probably tell from the pictures, the portions are large so come with a group and go Family style, it’s the best way to eat Chinese food.
Parking is generally easy to find in the shared parking lot out front.

This is my family’s absolute favorite place for Chinese food in Tracy.
The food is consistently delicious and the staff is always very welcoming. The atmosphere in the restaurant is inviting and we ALWAYS dine in when we come here.
We generally order one of the family meal options as the variety is good and the price is decent. Our favorite meal is option C, which comes with soup (we like wor won ton soup) /​an appetizer of egg rolls, breaded shrimp & fried won ton /​white rice, dried fried chicken (basically orange chicken), shrimp w/​veggies, Mongolian beef, lemon chicken & beef seasoned grill. Depending on the amount of people you are dining with, you can either order all of the options or just some.
I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for quality Chinese food while in Tracy.
