Ive been looking for a place that sells good milk tea and I can say Im glad I found it. Ive been to different places that sells boba tea. but this location is the far best best i. The location is hidden in the lil plaza behind 85 degree. The owner was super friendly. Ill definitely be coming back.

This place is kinda weird when you walk in because it is awkwardly decorated and quiet, but the drinks are so good! The hours are also not that great.

I love going to Bobaloca. The owner is so nice. They have the best Milktea and I get coffee gels with mines. I would highly recommend. Gloria is so nice and very friendly. My go to place when I’m craving Milktea.

This place is awesome, I’ve tried most of their drinks and they were very satisfying. I prefer the Oreo vanilla shake. The inside of the store is very nice and clean, and it has definitely improved the years. The workers are very friendly as well. 5⁄5

Ordered a honeydew milk tea here after shopping at the Mitsuwa nearby. The place looks like it could use a little facelift, but the man that was working there was nice. My drink came out quickly, and tasted good. Glad I stopped for a beverage before heading home.

This place is so dirty! That’s all I have to say. My drink turned out fine, but I was just so concerned with the environment of this place. They do have a letter B on the front door so I was warned. But I like to give everyone a fair shot, why not? This place has 1 small trash can that can barely fit a boba cup in it. When I asked the guy for a trashcan he pointed to the small can on the floor. Mind you it was overflowing with trash already. He should’ve just taken it out! Its a Tuesday and nobody is in here… There should be no reason your store is not well maintained! My drink turned out okay. Boba was a bit questionable though. Definitely won’t be back!

So gross! I ended up in here when I couldnt park near 85C and it was pouring rain… No other customers were there but figured its because of the rain. The man came out to take my order — ordered a hot green tea latte w boba. He disappears to the back, and i hear microwave buttons beeping, then the man reappears to mix the giant tub of old looking boba, only to go «back stage» again… He reappears w a cup, squats down to add something which I cannot see behind the counter and goes back stage again w the cup. Comes back and takes the tub of green powder(assuming green tea mix) and goes back again. Repeat microwave button sounds. He reappears from the curtains w the cup, shovels some boba into the cup and finally gives me my drink. I leave and finally take a sip as Im driving away. SO disgusting… it is luke warm and like syrup… It was SO sweet, one sip made me nauseous. Came back to my office and added hot water to dilute but the boba was mushy and gross as well so I ended up dumping it all. Never going back again!!!

The taste is fine… But I can’t remember that the employee just made my tea in the small empty area. There is unwashed mixer, and the boba is in big plastic open container that leave on the table. That’s why boba is too soft. Just looks dirty!

Soooo! With the new 85 bakery opening up across from this place I think they’re business has gone down a little bit but I cant imagine for any other reason why this place is not Well liked. I love this place especially the caramel frappé! It is sooo delicious! The guy Mr. Kim who owns the place knows me very well and always gives me great service when i come in. I come here almost everyday during my lunch break and always get the same great taste. If i could give 10 stars i would. Unfortunately, i haven’t tried the boba yet so i cant comment on that yet but stay tuned because i will soon. Anyways try this place first before making any decisions you might be surprised.

While driving down the street I noticed the big green bobaloca sign and my wife n I decided to give it a try when got off our vehicle and even though the food inspector graded the business with a «B» we took that risk and try the place Overall the customer service was good but the person attending the register at the time had very bad hygiene and very dirty My wife and I asked for a sample that consisted of mixing he This person mixed our tea sample with an unwashed utensil that was laying right next to the mixer when paused the sample then proceeded but to top it off this person was coughing all over the place meaning the cups, the blenders, the mixers That was red Flagg for ur we steped out immediately This place should be shut down

I don’t know why the Unilocal review is so bad… I think they changed all the workers so the service is really good now. I think the location is isolated, that’s all. But the worker I saw was pretty cute, def going there again. ;)

I saw the logo while driving down the street and had to stop. I love milk tea boba. As I opened up Unilocal to check in, my spirits lowered at the rating. Yes Unilocal works. Amazing huh. Sadly, the ratings are warranted. The service here was terrible. Not friendly at all. Long line, poor organization. Customer behind me ordered three drinks but was only given and charged for one. Also, no trash cans. Well, there is a tiny tiny one that looks like a restroom trashcan from your home lavatory. ***Just me, but that picture for this business with what someone«found» in their cup… I don’t believe it. That looks like garbanzo beans. I think someone was upset and created a Unilocal to complain. No reviews, only a photo.*** Go to a different Boba Loca.

Slogan is «Fresh Drops,» which, after our experience, can be described as dropped the freshness in a cold beverage dispensary, held it there for who knows how long, and microwaved it. We went in, asked for Chai Tea, were informed that it was not available, and were told that the hot milk tea is equally good. We complied and waited for the beverage. The gentleman retrieved a cup, filled it with milk tea from a cold milk tea dispensary, and put it in the microwave for about 45 seconds — 1 minute. The result? Luke warm boba, moderate in taste. Sigh, I didn’t expect much from the reviews, but microwaving milk tea? Definitely not my cup of tea. In short, thank you for the experience, I’ve had better, will not be going back.

Sigh. It just wasn’t really that good. When we were there is was just one gentleman working. The bubble tea had that grainy-ness that makes it :(.

After dinner at nearby Musha, we were looking for some sweets. I remembered Boba Loca next door and quickly pulled out the beloved iPhone to see what they had to offer! I knew we were going here when I saw that they offered shaved ice! I’m forever in the search for some good shaved ice in the South Bay and decided to see how it was here. The shaved ice at Boba Loca is $ 6.50. It comes with a nice variety of fruits: mangos, strawberries, pineapple, strawberries and is topped with boba! Boba topping is free. The presentation of the boba was really pretty. I loved all the fruits and I loved how the girl working there topped it with lots and lots of boba. The fruit variety and the boba were the best things about the shaved ice. The rest of the shaved ice was just ok. It had some condensed milk mixed in but it really needed more to give it more flavor. This shaved ice seemed like something that I could easily make at home and nothing really extraordinary. Ok shaved ice but on a future trip here, I will be getting boba instead.

GROSSEST place ever. Walked in, and one of the workers was standing on a stool with her bare hand in the thai iced tea dispenser, trying to fix it or something. She dumped a big vat of thai tea in the dispenser, but only after spilling and sloshing everywhere. The girls working had no idea what they were doing and the boba was chewy and inedible. Totally insanitary place managed and run by people who should NOT be in the food industry.

There is a 25 cent fee with every debit/credit card purchase – no matter how much you order. My family and I have been going to the branch on Crenshaw & Sepulveda, but after visiting this place, the distance is worth the drive. The place is cozy inside with a couch on either side of the door. Most boba places are decorated with cute small items, but this branch is plain. The one thing I didn’t like was the lack of trash cans/bins outside. Where were we supposed to throw away our empty cups? The tapioca balls were chewy, but too soft. I ordered their honeydew milk tea and it had a medicinal after taste to it
