Holiday Inn Express & Suites The Villages

Still no refund for the $ 666 I prepaid for a week and the hotel refused to refund after I refused to register due to the unsatisfactory condition of the hotel and assigned room. Take my advice. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Rooms are pretty run down; moldy shower and room had a bit of an odor. Polite staff, free breakfast and good location. Would not stay here again though. If you are on a budget and you don’t mind sub par accommodations may work for you.

Stayed here for two nights a couple weeks ago and had a great experience. When I first checked in I felt like I was at a ma and pop place and definitely not a chain location. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were typical for a nice holiday inn, can’t really complain. There was a mini fridge and microwave which was nice to have. I was staying here for work so I didn’t really have time to use any or the amenities. After checking out and arriving home the next night, I realized I left something in the hotel room. I called the front desk and they had it there and shipped it to me! Amazing!

Lazy front desk, had feet up on front desk texting when talking to me. Bathroom unclean on check in. Pool towels very small. After 1^st night the cleaned room and did not leave any new clean towels in room. Had to hot to front desk for towels and she acted like it was a pain to call someone to get me towels. They took there time getting them to the room. Breakfast was not that good at all. Juice machine just gave water. Asked them why they stayed I don’t know it’s not working right. Just a staff of people doing the the least they need to to get by. Never saw security on Property during my 4 night stay. Really disappointed with hotel normally have good experience with this chain of hotel not this time not even close.

Nice décor, clean, friendly staff, great location!
The bed was great!
The fitness room only had cardio machines.
The microwave only had a turn knob — it was very inefficient.
Shower head was definitely not my favorite — kind of one of those pins & needles ones.
