Stopped by with some friends the other night. The cover was reasonable at $ 12. The place looks a little worn, smallish and beat up and last minute put together. I didn’t see the high end others have written about. We didn’t have any food so can’t comment on that. A small bar in between two rooms. They had bachatta and salsa lessons at 9 pm. Instructors kind of rushed through some basic moves that they kept adding moves to. They kept rotating the limited female partners. Understandably a lot of guys had to practice with an imaginary partner. It was a mixed crowd of all sorts of people, young, old and in between. They write upscale dress code. I didn’t witness any of that. Limited seating, so a lot of people standing around the perimeter of the crowded rooms. We were somewhat disappointed, and left early. it’s located in a corner of a strip mall, plenty of free parking.

Peruvian food… You can find delicious food here. I luv the atmostphere, it is somewhat hidden place but if you find it, it is great… Especially, to hang out and even for some night out dancing. If you have latin music running thru your veins this is the place to come and enjoy your happy feet. I have been here many times for the dancing. I enjoy it very much. Its very Hi-end. They play the music videos along with each song and its awesome!!! You can listen all the rock en español music to samba, salsa, rock pop, and merengue. or you can just have a great drink too. The cover price is decent. I would say its great considering the amount of fun I have had here. :)

Well, the ONLY reason I give Lima 4 stars is because they are bit hard to find. The shrimp saltado– 5 stars, the pisco sours– 5 stars! The owner even made his own special, custom crêpe dessert for us– crepes with dulce de leche– WOW! They seem to concentrate more on the«club» portion, so I hope they don’t lose the restaurant part. GOTHERE!

I dont think this place serves food anymore! What a shame because it was delicious. They are still open thursday-saturday nights as a bumping night club and special events joint. They have a full venue sound system in a small setting. It Bumps!!!

Hi, I gave them a 4 I would’ve gave them a 5 but it was too hot in there I came out looking like mufasa. «LOL» beside that it was great I had a surprise party here and had bottle service which was not bad if your trying to stay local DEFINITITLY cool spot in the valley. Music was good hip hop, salsa, house, reggeaton and rock en espanol. Not bad at all also they have two DJ’s…

This place is great for a first date. It’s a little small and tucked away in the corner which is great because you don’t have crowds of people yapping away. the peruvian music they play on their flat screens really get you in the spirit.
The Food overall was great. The flavors really meld together and they were plated beautifully. For the price of the meal you definitely get the total value plus more…

I just loved this place. The food is just amazing. We had the potatoes and ceviche for appetizer and then the saltado with steak. The restaurant is romantic and well decorated. Service was awesome: personable and friendly. Very impressed… The Brazilian night let me down, don’t recommend it. Oh: the drinks were expensive, while the food was really reasonably priced.

«The best Peruvian restaurant in LA and very inexpensive for the presentation and quality of food. I went to Peru last year and fell in love with the cuisine. There is this whole culinary boom in Lima, Peru and tons of cool, hip and gourmet restaurants serving food from all regions of the country. Upon my return to LA I was thrilled to try the different Peruvian food restaurants, but unfortunately none of them have really done the cuisine justice. LIMA Peruvian Cuisine & Lounge is the the only gourmet Peruvian food restaurant in LA and is serving the dishes that are being served in Peru ‘s top restaurants now. The dishes don’t only taste great, but the presentation of the dishes are beautiful as well. They have a variety of tasty Peruvian cocktails that I learned about and tried in Peru(plus full bar) and they have different night club nights after 10pm Thursday– Saturday. I love the food there and the cebiche de pescado is the best in town… trust me I’ve tried them all…»

To me this is not the best Peruvian place in LA. My favorite peruvian dish is the tallarin de pollo. Although all the right ingredients are in their plate, there is WAY too much soy sauce. I thought that maybe it was a fluke and tried it again and it was the same problem. The ambiance is nice, but I would rather have great food over ambiance any day.

Best Peruvian in LA. Upscale flavors –outstanding fresh seafood with a variety of sauces My fave is with maracuja suace. Ceviches. Great chaufas. Good steaks, tallarines, saltados. Papas a la huancaina. And they make a delicious pasta with a sauce that is part alfredo and part huancaina sauce. Closed Monday AND Tuesday. Late night club on Friday and Saturday with Salsa Dancing Sunday evenings. Fun
