Pizza was good. Nice atmosphere. Most people picked up carry out. Only one other diner. It was a Tuesday night so that could be why it wasn’t busy.

Great food, great drinks, great service. We feel like family here. The pizza is the best in Los Angeles and the slices are huge. My favorite is the Aro.

Don’t get the calamari, you will be very disappointed. The khachapuri was pretty good, and their beer selection was also pretty good. Skip the food… unless you have one too many.

Awesome place! A little hidden gem that has great beer on tap and a big variety. The pizza and wings are delicious. My husband and I come here with our 3 month old because it has a relaxing vibe that’s great to watch football in.

We order pizza and wings for delivery on a Friday night which took more than 45 mins for being less than 2 miles away, there excuse driver got lost. After we finally got our order we notice that wings were luke warm and soggy, clearly not their best but at least the pizza was hot. Since we our regulars and love this place, my wife decided to stop by days later just give them a a friendly heads up on the delivery time and wings situation, she was given a rude and accusing answer that she was only trying to get something for free if that was the case we would of called that night or the next day. If that’s how you treat your regulars then you won’t last long. Will be take our business somewhere else.

I was thinking it was a totally different type of place. Ended up going there for just drinks early on a Friday. Love Big Mama’s and Papa’s, which I had no idea it was that place. But, for a date night it wasn’t what I was hoping for. Great beers on tap though, many were out, but they still had a pretty good selection. Next time I will try the food out. It was a tad small, so it as good that we went early.

They have a great variety of beers and their pizza is absolutely amazing! I love how they are local and have a good local crowd going. It’s a great place to go to on a weekday when there is nothing to do in the valley. I highly recommend getting a pizza and a beer here and crossing the street to go bowling. It seems like a really good idea if you want to stay in Woodland Hills and go on a date or hang out with friends. Check this place out if you are trying to have a fun chill night!

Give this place a shot. Pizza is truly top notch and and so is the beer offering. I have high standards and this place meets them. I want and expect more than average — and you’ll definitely get that here. You can taste the high quality of the ingredients. They take their time and they do it right. I have been here twice — both times on a Saturday night — and both times we were the only party there for the entire hour plus, which confuses me because this pizza is so fantastic. Maybe because it’s relatively new? Or perhaps people don’t know about it? I stumbled upon it by accident and, despite the fact that I drive by it often, never noticed it. Perhaps some advertising is needed? I don’t know about the name… BMPP…its kind of awkward, but don’t let that stop you from trying this place out if you want more from your pizza. Delicious!

This hidden gem is great! The beers and the food quality alone will have me coming back again and again. This pizza joint will not disappoint! I got the spicy BBQ wings and a small calzone, which could feed 2 people topped off with a chimay.

You knew it as the home of the giant kid’s party pizzas, but now try it as a grown up party pub. Good food in a cool pub setting with a couple dozen beers on tap. Flat screens surround the bar in the exposed brick and wood setting. Not sure if the neighborhood will appreciate the vibe, but give it a try. It’s places like this that are slowly transforming the west Valley from the bleak suburbs to a cool place to raise a young family.

BMPP is a hidden gem in the rough. What was once a tiny hole in the wall take out pizza joint is now a super chill 24 beer on tap and pizza spot. The pizza is cooked to perfection and the curly fries are delightfully crunchy and extra curly. The beer choices are above the average options starting from Miller Light and working it’s way up to a Sculpin IPA and Delirium Pale Ale. They also have 24 bottled choice beers and wine options. The wait staff is really nice and the night bar tender Nune on Wednesday is super attentive and cool. Give this place a shot, you’ll be happy you did! We sure are!

Best happy hour in town. 11 – 6 Monday-Friday. Buy one beer get the next one for a PENNY!!. Idk if u can beat it. They got some modern décor inside with exposed brick. The egg pizza. Just do it if you like eggs. Not a big place but seriously perfect for being around the corner from me and pouring a good selection of craft beers.

This place has so much potential to be good, but fails on a few levels. First, the name is totally unconventional BMPP. I guess they want to add tavern to Big Mamas and Papas, but still it doesn’t sound friendly. How many places can you think of that are named as an acronym? A couple of beers are marked $ 9 a glass, yes $ 9 a glass! I’ve ordered the exact same beer right down the street at a fancier bar(Local Peasant), and paid less. I don’t know how they justify that price. It definitely is keeping my friends from coming back. There are daily specials. I believe it was $ 5 for this beer, just my luck that one was all out, how convenient. On to the positive side; the location is good. There are a bunch of TV’s, and they have outside seating if you want to watch traffic on Ventura Blvd. All in all not much of a good bar, but pretty good for pizza.

ICECOLD beers on tap, including Guinness. Not sure what else anyone could ask for. This is as much a pub as it is a pizza joint. i do wish the beer prices were lower though. Would come here more often if the beer was at least 3 dollars cheaper.(I had an allagash white that was 9 bucks!!!) Place is still a decent 4.5−5 stars though. EDIT to Add: since I wrote the review above they have added beer specials on some awesome imported beers only 4 bucks!!! And STILL Ice cold!!!

Let’s be honest, this place is just a prettied up Big Momas. Menu is the same, they’ve just added beer, wine and wood floors. That’d not why I give 2 stars. Food is what you’d expect. The whole wheat and gluten-free pizzas are sold by the slice only because they’re made off-site. Read that again. Some of the pizza is pre-made. The beer selection, both on tap and bottled, is quite impressive though. Service was also friendly. That’s why it gets two stars. The cleanliness is why it doesn’t get more stars. Two things irked me. 1. As I was leaving, I saw into the kitchen. An older dude who had been preparing the food was eating(assuming off of a plate) on the work area where the salad and topping stuff are kept. I don’t know the official name, but it’s like the display case where the subway people get their stuff, the table/bench in front where they make a sandwiches. I’m not sure that’s OK with the health department. 2. A big fucking cockrocach came out from the bar area towards us. Another patron(there were just our two tables eating at 1pm in a weekday) stepped in it and kicked it away.(see photo). Server/bartender swept it up and made a call. I don’t speak Russian so I’m assuming it was to someone in charge. It was at the end of the meal. I felt sick. Paid and left.
