Beer was cold, waitress was awesome(new girl: Kim). Great service. Good was typical hooters. All in all would have given a 5 star but crap manager: EASEIPONTHEAC!!! Inside was friggin freezing. When your wait staff is huddled in the bathroom cuz is too damn cold in the restaurant… you have a problem. We are regulars here and get areal irritating when it’s so uncomfortably cold outside. Crazy thing is, it’s so easy to fix. Come on guys, get with the program!

Such a horrible and awkward experience! We came with family & friends we haven’t seen in awhile and were hopeful in having a good time. Drinks took what seemed to be a lifetime, by the time she brought the drinks the first served needed refills.(that she failed to get) literally we sent our kids to the machine to get their own because an hour past after we ASKED for a refill! Then next shift came in and they got into a server fight INFRONT of our whole table! After the manager got involved being just as rude and arguing infront of us, he dismissed our original server and the new shift took over only to share with us… Our order was never placed!

Bad food horrible service restrooms dirty, when we complained they called police and asked us to leave. The worst thing the rent a cops actually did ask us to leave or go to jail. Realy for complaining about the ladies room. Sad

This is the worst hitters I have ever been too, waitresses were more interested in chatting than serving. Literally everything we ordered was wrong in some way Example not two salad dressings each, no bacon on bacon burger, asked for wings only didn’t get that, asked for medium sauce o stomp got none awful awful service what food we got tasted giod

Great place to go during the middle of a hockey game.. as in arrive asher it starts and leave before it ends. There are people there but is not too crowded. Good beer. Good wings. If you validate your parking chip, then parking in the garage is super cheap.

Get the wings(they were good). The grouper was old and fishy and the fries were cold and the waitress could not be found(Tanya).

We read the reviews before going in but figured we should give it a shot anyways. We quickly realized why there were so many negative reviews… the service is terrible! We waited for over 30 mins for the waitress to bring us our food on a Tuesday around 4pm. The only time she came over was to take our order and then we didn’t see her until about 30 mins later at which point we had to call on another waitress to go get her. When the order finally came, it was missing items. Long story short, if this was a Tuesday at 4pm and the restaurant wasn’t full I can’t even begin to imagine how the service is on a weekend when it’s packed. As far as the food is concerned it’s your typical Hooters food but the horrible service takes away from the experience.

I just left the hooters located at Channelside mall of Tampa and probably had the smallest chicken wings I have ever seen in my life. The size of the wings were literally less than 5 cm. Not only was the size small but the width was probably the size of the little finger. Also ordered some«chicken» nachos that were only dry old lettuce without any chicken. Overall the service was nothing but terrible. Waitress was nice but the manager was rude. He tried to «fix» the issue by offering us 5 cold mini sized wings. I have never had a manager treat customers as disrespectful as he did. I gave this restaurant a star because it was the lowest possible but if I had to truly rank it it would be 0 out of 5. After my experience I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We waited 10 min to be seated, the place was dead. Then we left after waiting another 15 min for our waitress to come to our table to take our drink order. She never came. Don’t waste your time going here.

Dropped in to meet a few friends. All I had was a Heineken Light. The beer was cold, the women were beautiful, the crowd there was fun and amped to see Billy Joel. The place is just a block from the Amalie Arena. Great place!

I’m probably one of the only people that ordered shrimp at Hooters! Lol! The steamed peel and eat shrimp was very small. I ordered it for my meal and ended up having to order a side of curly fries. The atmosphere is just like any Hooters. We stopped here before going out to — lightning game.

Well… this is your average hooters. Nice staff and tasty wings, nothing to complain about but nothing special about this location. I think the biggest downside is that since it’s in Channelside the parking is really annoying.

I love the lotsa tots(no bacon) as a starter. They’re delicious with the cheese sauce, sour cream and scallions. The wings are just ok. A little over fried for my liking, but I do like the variety of options for rubs and sauces. Also, the buffalo chicken salad is pretty good. The lettuce could definitely stand to be chopped more(instead of big clunky pieces). The service is good. it takes a little while to be acknowledged when you walk in the door. I’ve seen people leave because of that. Also, 4 stars instead of 5 because the wait time for your food to come is a bit ridiculous. Definitely can use improvement in that area. But the servers are very nice and courteous.

I worked at hooters years ago and like to visit from time to time.. I ordered my all time favorite fried pickles for appetizers and some naked mild wings… Food was okay. Our waitress was really sweet and cute… lol, I was a little tipsy and forgot to get her name. The service was decent for it being a college game night… Everything you can expect from a hooters.. loud crowd and greasy food…;)

I cannot recall the last time I dined at a Hooters. I like to support local businesses and not frequent too many chains. The hockey BFF was craving their chocolate cake so she dragged us along to eat here prior to the Lightning game last week. The place was busy but not too overly crowded, which was perfect for us. We were seated right away and able to place our orders quickly. Our server Tara, was very friendly and did a great job of checking on us several times. Our wait time for our food was very short and we were able to get in and out of the restaurant just in time for the hockey game. I started with the Dragonberry Mojito. It was tasty and very refreshing. I also split an order of naked wings with one of my friends and ordered the clams. I am not a fan of all the breading on Hooters wings, so I prefer the naked ones. The wings and the clams were good. Not a fan of the bowl of water the clams are served in, this can’t be drained before served? The chocolate cake was tasty. It was not overpowering with frosting and not too sweet. Hooters is your typical Hooters chain restaurant. This one is very conveniently located close to Amalie Arena if you want a quick bite before an event.

Visited May 2013 My husband & I decided to stop here before a Storm game one day. We had been to Hooters before so we knew what to expect. There was not wait & we got seated right away. I usually get the wings but opted for a burger this time. I was very surprised, it was a really good burger! It is nice & close to the Forum so we parked in the garage for free, all we had to do is get a token validated at Hooters.

I wish I could give 2.5, because I am right in the middle with this place… Not a whole lot to say, it was a typical Hooters. We went to watch the Bucs game on Thursday night and we happened to be in the Channelside area. Kate was our server and she was very attentive and took good care of us. My boyfriend had the Hooters salad(which looked pretty good) and the grilled buffalo chicken wrap, which they forgot to put buffalo sauce and it looked like it was mostly tortilla. The Margaritas are tasty but very weak. I wanted something stronger, so I got the GreyGoose Martini. I know GG is smooth, but that was the first time I have not been able to taste the alcohol in what is supposed to be an alcoholic drink. I have a feeling the martini was overly shaken. Might be back if I am in the area, but definitely would not go out of my way to drink or dine here.

This Hooters is a victim of its location. Channelside is undergoing a Vinik-inspired renaissance which is awesome, but franchise-chain places like this with their familiarity and easiness are a terrible fit for a spot next to a cruise port. The result of cruise-goers waiting to embark or disembarking and hungry means a lot of quick, high turnover tables which reflect poorly on the normal Hooters experience. I — and most Hooters patrons — want a friendly server who might slow down to chat for a few minutes and pour your beer for you. But they’re so constantly rushed here, that never happens. We didn’t even get our server’s name, which is startling considering our entrees took 51 minutes to come out after ordering. I would’ve told someone, but nobody ever stopped. Yow. Management took care of the bill, which was appropriate given what happened, so good on them. But this place doesn’t have the Hooters vibe, which is disappointing considering it could be such a flagship location for travelers who may have never been to Tampa. Wings were pretty good though.

This Hooters is terrible. The food is poor and the service was worse. I really can’t tell you why we visited except there was no more room in the 2 other restaurants. Steer clear of this joint. You shouldn’t be eating at Channelside anyhow.

I do love a good Hooters. This one was ok. BF and I stopped by after the hockey game. It was, obviously, busy. We waited about 30 minutes for a table, which was fine, no surprise there of course. Waitress was pleasant. There was the issue of ordering an order of tater tots, and it came out with all this… stuff on it. Including bacon bits. That sucks. I don’t eat pork. We only ordered tater tots, not the loaded ones. I know the difference. *sigh* Since it was already late we didn’t feel like reordering them, since we had to wait a while for the first ones. Drink I got was good. Bathroom was atrocious! But I will totally give a little slack there as it was Stanley Cup night and I’m sure they were über busy all night. All in all ok. I’d give them another chance if I was in the area again.
