YUM! Nestled in south Tacoma in the FernHill area is this tiny diner… And in this diner lies not only an obsession with«everything Jerry Seinfeld,» but, also some amazing culinary delights. First off — Thanks LJ for serving breakfast during the entire time you’re open now! My hubby had, if I remember the name correctly, «The Ticket» which was pure comfort food. It would be a great dish for one to order if trying to gain a few extra pounds in advance of a harsh Alaskan winter or something. Or, if super hungover.(LOL) Yep, that good and that comforting. Fantastically flavored gravy. I had the Maestro(eggs bennie) and I would give it a 4.5 /5.(I am pretty picky on hollandaise sauce and I prefer a light creamy lemony version over theirs.) The prices here are really on the«affordable» fair side for breakfast. I don’t really see prices like this where we live in North Tacoma. THanks LJ, keep on keepin’ on! We’ll be back.

Brought my kiddos and a friend here for lunch. I got the Harold and Morty which is huge! Got my youngest a grilled cheese(not on the menu) and she enjoyed it. My middle daughter got the Cosmo and it was inhaled while her friend got the Busboy without meat. She was still eating as I wrote this. The place is small and the portions are huge, but service is a little slow. Seating is minimal but there are two tables outside.

I had the Maestro(eggs Benedict) and my wife had the Busboy(French toast). Both excellent. We were there for a late breakfast. The service was good but it took us over 45 minutes to get our food. Waitress said it was because the owner was cooking by himself. They gave our kid a chocolate donut due to the wait. It was amazing, probably one of the best donuts we’ve ever had.

Phenomenal breakfast, didn’t skimp on portion sizes and the prices were great. Would definitely recommend this to anyone I know passing through Tacoma like myself!

Got the Mendelbaum, pound of beef, half a pound of bacon, even better than it sounds and the bacon was amazing. Also the Slippery Pete with a grilled cheese bun substitutes. Absolutely amazing.

I wanted to love this place even before I came there, based on some of the reviews I’ve read, but in the end, I’ll give it just an «OK.» First of all, the place is MUCH smaller than I could have ever imagined! The few two-person tables are so tiny that two plates barely fit on the table. Not to mention, the tables are crammed SO close together that it actually made me a bit uncomfortable in enjoying my meal, with people on both sides of me that I could literally touch elbows with. The food was good, but nothing stood out. In fact, I ordered my eggs scrambled with cheese, but I had to look hard to find any cheese on it. I am totally serious — there was a few token shreds of cheese, that’s it. The coffee was decent, though. Service was good.

Had the«Blow out» hamburger. Family had breakfast including the boca vista. Pretty good meal in tiny little place. Like the theme of the restaurant. Give it a try.

We went on a Sunday am, and had to wait for a seat. Unfortunately this is a very small place and we had to wait outside. But the wait was short… less than 10 min. Tables are small, barely enough room for your plates, cups and flatware. There is only enough room for 1 waitress and 1 cook, but the food was brought out quick, once we ordered. The food was good. The only complaint/draw back is that because there is only 1 service person, sometimes service isn’t seamless… we were brought our food, before we got our flatware… and we had to wait for a few minutes before the flatware was brought to our table, due to our server dealing with other customers. But overall, good food, good price. I would return and recommend this place to my friends

Great food, great service. Parking is tight and tables are tiny. I prefer the counter as you a tally get more personal space… who’d da figured… Plates are big, so come hungry or share. God, nothing is bad in this restuarant.

We had breakfast here while passing through the area. This Seinfeld-themed dinner is a great little spot. Very tiny inside seats less than 15… they could potentially have long waits Food was A+

Is there anyway to give them negative stars? Just walked in there with a friend to try out this place that I’ve heard a lot about. The big young lady working behind the counter was very unfriendly and pretty rude. Walked in and didn’t even get a hello. I went to sit down at a 4seat table an the girl was very rude and told me that I couldn’t sit there because it was for 3 or more people. But there was only 2 people sitting at the other 4seater table. The lady ruined the experience so we left before we even ordered. Hopefully you’ll get better and friendlier staff. Coming from someone who works with customers. Just was really disappointed.

I’ve been in Lakewood for work for about a month. Little Jerry’s was the first breakfast restaurant I tried, and it’s been the last. This place is so good I haven’t even looked for other places to try. Every single thing I’ve tried on the menu has been great. The staff are super nice and friendly. If you’re a Seinfeld fan this place is a must. It’s all Seinfeld themed, even the delicious desserts(cereal marshmallow bars).

Had a GREAT breakfast here with a friend one morning while searching out something decent in the area. The waitress was incredibly busy(it was only her plus the cook) but took time to make some recommendations, and offered substitutions for things without any charge.(I don’t like toast, and she subbed fruit, pretty nice of her.) The food itself was very well-prepared and flavorful with hearty portions, and I’m glad I didn’t go for one of the stackers or burritos I had seen served only because I wouldn’t have had room for it! My buddy had the stacker and was super impressed with it. All around a great breakfast.

I read reviews on this place so I had an idea of what to expect: Seinfeld, small space, Seinfeld, good food, and Seinfeld. Came here with my wife on a Sunday morning. The diner was about half full so we were seated immediately. Seinfeld memorabilia covered the walls and the show was playing on a TV as the waitress gave us menus and drinks. I ordered the Steak Out with hash browns, eggs overeasy and wheat toast and my wife ordered Kramerica with hash browns, poached eggs, and english muffin(which pretty much made hers a fancy eggs benedict). The wait time was about 20 minutes(or one Seinfeld episode) and it was worth the wait. The Steak Out was delicious; a warm bed of hash browns covered in steak, onions, peppers, and cheese with eggs on top along with toast(observation: some diners serve toast saturated in butter but this is genuine, straight-from-the-toaster kind of toast) and jelly(strawberry, they did not ask about flavors so I’m guessing that’s all they had). I tried a bite of the Kramerica which was equally as good. All in all it was a good experience. I was a bit worried it would turn out to be a gimmicky place where you’re paying for the atmosphere and not for the food, but I felt like I got the best of both worlds. It is a *cozy* diner; a couple tables seat four, a few tables seat two, and the bar seats some people in front of the TV. When we arrived there were six people seated at the back of the restaurant, but after they left the staff removed a table converting it to a 4-person table, so I’m guessing they can accommodate 6 if needed. Service was great; our waitress was quick to take our order and topped off my coffee when requested. Would recommend to a friend who enjoys Seinfeld and is not claustraphobic.

If I could live here, I would move in today. I had The Mickey… So.Gosh.Blessed.Good The food took a bit too come out, but the quality was incredible. The place may be small, but you don’t see to many diners that have the ambiance and feel of a comfortable neighborhood diner. Just keep your eyes wandering while you wait looking at all the Seinfeld memorabilia, and the episodes on the television. A wonderful place to say the least!

I cant remember if I previously reviewed this. I thought I had… oh well here we go. We happened onto this place kind of by accident. First thing you will notice its a super small location. I read the reviews, but had no idea how small. We are talking nothing over 4 person tables and I think it totaled two 4 person tables, and 4 – 62 person tables. Plus a little outdoor seating. The place is really tight. Second they love Seinfeld. I have always been a fan of the show, but they really love it. Overall our experience was good. The food was solid, though they brought me the wrong thing, but I didn’t mind. It was still good. I recall there was something off about my wifes plate, but honestly I cannot remember what it was. I think it was a personal preference thing… but god I cannot remember what. I wont knock them down for that by any means. I think I would love to bring my in-laws, but the size turns me off.

I got The Cosmo and my friend got the Hawaiian Transfer. He liked his burger and I liked mine. Burgers not too little, but not too big. Nice home cooked taste. Simple and tasty. Very small place. Prompt service. Prices are decent. Definitely will have to come back and try breakfast and other menu items. Came back for breakfast – got the steak out with home fries and eggs over easy. Eggs were cooked to perfection. Good portions at a decent price. Will definitely return.

Stopped in for my first visit today. The dining area is small, very tight! Ordered to go. Got the Kramerica. So Delicious!!! Would be nice if the bacon and tomatoes were chipped tho into smaller pieces but the flavors are great. Will definitely revisit but probably not dine in. Also the girl who took my phone order and payment was very nice. Good customer service is so important.

This is one of the best places ever. Its such a strange and great idea and to be tucked sort of nonchalant in a small old school strip plaza in the South Tacoma Fern Hill neighborhood. It’s one of those ideas you wish you would have came up with yourself. All the decorations are based on the Seinfeld show. Each item on the menu is named after an episode which is brilliant. They have a slew of magazines running articles on the show at the time the show was running. Several Spiderman and Superman comics, J Peterman clothing catalogs which is a real clothing line and a TV overhead running episode after episode. FANTASTIC! The food is really great, however the space is super small with maybe 8 tables. Get there early on the weekends because it packs up quickly. If you love the Seinfeld show you will totally enjoy yourself… and get a great meal while stepping back into the 90’s. Did I mention that the menu items are all super reasonable in cost. All under $ 10. Even the CFS meal!

If you’re in the mood for 90’s nostalgia and some fine diner food go no further. Lil Jerry’s manages to keep the small town, neighborhood vibe while being a Tacoma institution. The service is smiley and prompt(give a little leeway for the itty-bitty kitchen) and the servings large for the very reasonable pricing. Get there before 10:30 for breakfast as the grill gets switched over at 11, and there is always a rush.
