$ 5 tasting fee, and the server had very little knowledge, and admitted she didn’t really drink wine. The wines and ciders – a huge variety made by a group of five siblings accross the country – are nothing to write home about, and at about average winery prices, aren’t worth it. We bought one bottle since we were already out 2 tasting fees(each tasting fee can be applied toward a bottle purchase), and it was a fine, but not amazing, primativo. Then we stopped at Drytown Cellars on the way out, and realized how much better our tasting experience could be and how much more value we could find. We’ll head down the road from now on.

This place is great! We came here for some wine tasting & the server could tell we’re inexperienced, so he was very helpful in letting us know about the different wines & what was the best tasting. I definetly recommend coming here over the other wine tasting places in the area. We walked into Scott Harvey wine and no one even acknowledged us. Then we went to Sutter Creek Winery & the server was very short & not friendly whatsoever & we ended up spending $ 60 there, whereas we paid only $ 27 for 2 bottles at this place.

We’ve been here twice now and have had a good time both times. The selection is GREAT! You can try different wines from all of the families wineries. My mother in law is not a big wine drinker so she tried the ciders and really enjoyed them. She even bought 2 bottles, which is unusual for her. The customer service is excellent, they’re always fun and friendly.

Was not a fan of this place when the old server Alicia was there. The wine was good, but she seemed to only care about a handful of specific people and if you weren’t in that«circle», you didn’t matter. New staff in there now and the difference is insane! I recently found out that this is a sister winery/tasting room to Sera Fina which makes complete sense. I immediately feel like family in these tasting rooms, no matter what I want they will bend over backwards to make my day. It’s crazy how much difference a staff-switch makes. The old manager Alicia made the entire tasting room feel like high school where only certain customers(her friends I guess?) were treated well, but the new server there(I think her name is Kiara or Kiera or something like that) is AWESOME. The new manager Lisa has totally cleaned up this tasting room and Sera Fina and they are both ABSOLUTELY-MUST-VISITS! PS: oh my god the Strawberry Hard Apple cider… cannot get enough.

Sadly I found out that Alicia(their wonderful server) is no longer with the business. Also I tasted their ciders and was not pleased with the flavor. It tasted like flat champagne. The new server was not very friendly and I see no reason for me to go back.

My friend and I went to most of the wine tasting stops on Main Street, and this was by far the best one! The tasting was free, the lady behind the counter(Alicia) was so much fun, so sweet, and didn’t pressure us to buy anything although we loved it so much we bought 3 bottles! The wine is very reasonably priced and the service was EXCELLENT! We will definitely be back the next time we are in town.

I love it when my winetasting gets kicked into high-gear early in the day. JR was VIBRANT… he was more than vibrant, he was effervescent! There were about 3 families worth of wineries within this tasting room and my faves were all from Natalie Scotto. She made me like petite sirah! I don’t like that shit, but here I was liking it. a lot. So much so we grabbed a bottle to go along with 3 of her Rare Red blends. AND, we joined the wine club. Yep, broke our wine club cherry. It’s about time too. and this place was totally worth it! They had jug wine. Yes, wine in jugs. and I didn’t get a bottle. still kicking my ass for walking away from that. Dang. 5+ bottles of wine per bottle! What was I thinking not getting some? We came home and finished all the Rare Reds and were seriously calculating in our heads if it would be worth it to drive back out to get a case. But, since we’re in the club, we’re going to just order some and save the gas and time. However, another tasting with JR would be awesome. he really was the best winetender we’ve encountered at any winery we’ve ever been.

This place was a random stop on a work trip through Jackson. I’m so glad we swung in as we were the only ones in(2:30 pm) and the gentleman pouring wine was more than happy to give us a try of literally anything we wanted. He didn’t mind opening new bottles or giving us «refreshes» of ones we liked. I ended up with a Pinot Grigio and Tempranillo and I’m so happy with both choices. The grapes have an Italian influence and really great flavors. They even gave me boxes to use for packing into my carry-on at no charge. I would definitely go back to this place and spend more time!

The tasting room staff are so welcoming and the wine was so yummy! A great stop to make in Sutter Creek.
