Andis Wines on Main

It is so nice to have Andis in Sutter Creek. Great place to hangout while you wait for dinner reservations. The people are super friendly an knowledgable and the live music was great.

Andis Wines is a winery in Amador County in the Sierra Foothills; they just opened this tasting room on the main street in Sutter Creek about a week ago, so we were one of the first to experience it during our out-​of-​town getaway this weekend. The look and feel inside is really nice and clean, as you would expect for a brand new business. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed conversing with them. Tastings are complimentary. Their wines were all good; we ended up purchasing a bottle of their Barbera. From 5pm until close (tastings are not available after 5pm), you can purchase wine by the glass (I believe for $ 5) or bottle, have a seat at a table or the bar, and relax. I could see this place being a trendy hang out for the locals to visit with their friends; I would if I lived in Sutter Creek! It’s definitely a great stop for tourists making their way through the shops on the main street!
