Ok folks there is a fire in my heart for a great pita grill. its a close matchup here between this place and sunrise pita but I’m going to have to say that falafel pita and grill takes the cake. why? Extremely nice family owned and the pride of their food shows love not to mention the owners wife constantly keeping things clean and the quality of freshness of the food. it’s very delicious everything I have tried trying different items every time I go here to eat here sunrise pita is great too but for a different experience try falafel pita and grill you do not want to miss out on this sunrise gem glatt kosher all the way. were talking fresh best young chicken with multiple flavor pops on your pallet. keep up good work guys I definitely will be back with family and others :)

Pricey and the staff wasn’t very friendly; the food was ok. The chicken shawarma was in a good pita with a nice selection of additions, but it lacked the extra touch. I have gone twice for the same item, and while ok… it leaves me feeling empty. The same gentleman waited on me and just needs to put on a happier face. Really. It was a turn off to feel like I needed to just eat and leave. No ambiance whatsoever. I may try again to see if maybe the 3rd time is a charm.

My first time eating shawarma. I must say… this was the place to do it. The food was great. I have been longing for it ever since. The staff is very nice. Great spot for lunch. Highly recommend it.

Love love love it. Im a chef that traveled around the US and so far that was the best ISRAELI place I ate. I tried the Shawarma, Falafel, Madbucha, Tchina, Amba, all was Good & fresh. Good proportion . Its funny how much a good, real tasty«Laffa» can remind you home.

I love this place. The reason is, the guys making the food make you feel you are at home. The other interesting thing is that you pay when you are finished eating, not before, like many fast casual places. I had the shawarma in a pita. Pita was super fresh, shawarma was succulent, and the salad and spicy stuff hit the spot. My brother had the falafel in a pita. For the kids I ordered the hamburger which I was very impressed with and my daughter had the hot dog which I suspect was placed in a whole wheat bun and I was impressed with that.

One of those real and authentic Israeli Kosher pita, felafel and Shwarma restaurants that satisfies one’s craving for delicious Israeli foods! Salads, sandwiches, condiments and customer service that makes one feel right in the comfort zone of good taste and healthy pleasure. Nothing fancy, clean and easy to get to, parking in the front, accessible off of University just north of Sunrise, foods made fresh, also with juices from Israel and beer, water and soda pop to accompany the meal. Enjoy the taste of delicious Israeli food in a comfortable setting.

Disgusting! We ordered out food and as the man was making the pita sandwiches for the customers ahead of us(without gloves on), the customer hands him a cell phone and he begins to to talk on it while making the sandwiches. After the phone conversation, he set the cell phone down on the food prep counter and continued to touch all of the food without washing his hands. Talk about terrible food service hygiene.

Literally walked in at 9:15pm and was told that they were closed even though their sign says closed at 10pm. I stated«it’s not 10 yet». And I was asked«what do you want?» At this time I left because I knew I didn’t wanna spend my money on what was probably gonna be leftovers. I refuse to spend my money on an establishment that won’t even follow their own hours. If they didn’t want to have anymore service they should’ve turned their lights off and locked theirs doors. Anyways, I ended up going a couple of stores down to Sunrise Pita and Grill where the service was excellent!

Randomly came across this little gem and I’m so happy I did. Everything tasted spectacular and I highly recommend the falafel.

Raw chicken. I am serious. I got an order of chicken schwarma to go and when I get home, the chicken is raw. Completely unfriendly atmosphere as if they don’t want your business. And there is a great kosher Israeli place practically next door! Avoid this place.

What a great find! I was on my way to the«other» falafel place when surely by accident I drove up to this place. Unlike the other place, this is roomy, very clean, and one isn’t treated like cattle. The owners(husband, wife and son) appreciated our business, and the food was GREAT. For this genre of food, this place is a TEN stars. In the other place the A/C was never working properly; in this place it was very comfortable. I can’t enjoy lunch/dinner if I am dripping because of the heat. Prices are good. If you read my other reviews, I don’t often give restaurants 5-stars, but this place deserves it. Kol ha’kavod.

If you are looking for fast service and good food, this is the place. The food is fresh and has several options for the vegetarian. For the meat lovers, the meats are succulent & tasty. Service is friendly and if you are not sure what the item is, they will give you a little taste. I give it 5 stars for speed, taste and friendliness!

I love these Pita places. I’ve been to many in the area and this one is right up there with all of them. I talked to the owner(Yono), and asked him why he would open up so close to Sunrise Pita, which is in the same shopping center. He told me it was a long story, that he was supposed to take over, but it didn’t work out, so he opened his own place. This would be similar to Pat’s and Geno’s in Philadelphia when it comes to cheese steaks. Who will win? That’s yet to be seen, but Yono is doing a great job. I ordered a Falafel Pita on whole wheat with hummus, spicy, salad, falafel, eggplant, tahini. Pickel bar is included. The taste is great, it’s very similar to Pita Plus right up the street, which is my current favorite. Each one has a slightly different taste, I like them all and wish Yono the best of luck.
