First off: the check in offer is no longer valid. Wasn’t mad about this, but they should update. Food was great. I ate with two others and we all enjoyed our dishes. We split the eggplant dip to start which was definitely good but not really exciting. For lunch(and dinner later, big portions!) I had the chicken with raisins which was delicious! What a great combo the rice+raisins made and the chicken was perfect. My mom and boyfriend both really enjoyed their meals(veggie kabob and some beef/chicken combo plate, forgot the name) and we all split an order of the Persian ice cream for dessert which was INCREDIBLE. Service was awesome, everybody was super friendly and our waitress was great about making recommendations and steering our orders in the right direction. Will definitely go back.

Was here for lunch buffet and it was delicious. All kinds of things to try that I can really recall the names since it was my first time trying most of the food. Great value for lunch. Waitress was nice enough to show me what each dish was and gave me recommendations. Will definitely come by again when in the area.

We first tried Kuluck’s food back in January. It was our first time eating Persian food so we didn’t know what to expect. The experience was amazing(from the freshly baked flat bread, crispy rice, lentil soup, rice pilaf, grilled vegetables, grilled chicken, to the small Iranian store right on the premises, to the reasonable corking fee of $ 8). We went back many times, and recommended the place to all our friends, but hadn’t been back since maybe 2 months ago until last night. As soon as we walked in we noticed that the usual staff was absent. After being seated we told our waitress that we have brought our own wine(as usual); she was surprised(?) so she told us she had to ask if it was allowed. After talking to at least two different people she came back and confirmed that it was Ok. At that time we inquired if there had been a change in ownership, which she confirmed. If at least they would have kept the cooks! The flat bread was stale; we ordered crispy rice as an appetizer(for us the main event) and were told that they had ran out of it(it’s 7pm on a Friday night); the different pilaf rices that came with our food(3 different ones) tasted funny and very oily. We will probably wait a month or so before giving it a second try hoping that they get their groove back.

This restaurant has the best gormeh sabzi I had in a very long time. I highly recommend trying all the dishes and I’m sure you will be delighted. This is homecooking at its finest!

I have been wanting to check out Kuluck for a while, my work lunch buddy told me he had been a while back and wasn’t impressed, I told him the location was under new ownership and getting good reviews so he agreed to join me to check it out. We were both so glad we tried it because it was great! My friend said that the buffet had a lot more items that when he was last there, and we both agreed the food was excellent. The weekday lunch buffet is a great deal for $ 11.95, it consist of salads with different dressing options, Lavash(thin flatbread), spreads like Hummus, eggplant dip, yogurt and cucumber dip, tabouli, Basmati rice, crispy rice, meat balls, a pasta dish, veggie patties, chicken stew, beef stew, chicken kabobs, ground beef patties, fruit, cookies, small cupcakes, Lentil soup, and a few other items. I wasn’t crazy about the lentil soup, but everything else I tried was wonderful, especially the chicken kabobs! The items on the buffet aren’t labeled, but when I asked the server who was by the buffet station she was happy to explain all of them. The décor is casual and service was very friendly, I will definitely be making Kuluck part of my work lunch rotation.

The eggplant dip is awesome! And I HATE eggplant. For my meal I had ghormeh sabzi. It’s a beef green herb stew with long grain rice. DELICIOUS! Service is outstanding. Be sure to check in with Unilocal to get your complimentary glass of wine.

This review is based on Kuluck’s catering services, which was all arranged the night before my grandfather’s funeral and they were very accommodating in our time of need. I would like to thank Kuluck for their prompt delivery, excellent quality of food, great attention to detail and the high level of professionalism of their staff, my family and I are very grateful. I have always enjoyed Kuluck’s daily buffet(Mon-Fri) with family and friends and the occasional weekend lunches or dinners. The buffet is definitely a favorite. Great quality at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend the buffet for people that are new to Iranian/Persian cuisine as there is a very nice variety to try.

Went for the weekday lunch buffet($ 11.95). Salad, hummus, cucumber sauce, tortillas, lentil soup, raisin rice, white rice, multiple stews, ground beef patty, chicken cubed, cookies, fruit… Good service. They cleared my plates and refilled water without request. Use voucher to save $ 5. I think they should label items on buffet. Since I didn’t know what dishes were, I asked waitress. She was helpful and answered all my food questions.

Liked the food quality and taste!(Polo Mahicheh was great but chicken kabob was burnt a lil bit outside and raw inside) Persian ice cream was ok too. one more thing wanted to mention: in order to use the $ 50 groupon I had, they told me I have to order min $ 75 for the bill! Which was not mentioned online in their groupon Ad!

Kuluck is one of my favorite restaurants in South Florida. I was devastated when I found out that they had closed before… it turns out the plaza where they used to be located drastically increased their rent, so they temporarily shut their doors until they could find a new location. When the former Caspian Persian Grill(which then became the short-lived Pasha’s House of Kabobs) closed, Kuluck took over the restaurant. Needless to say, I was thrilled they had reopened! I visited recently with my mom and dad(my dad is Persian), and we simply loved our meals. Even my mom, who is notoriously picky, cleaned her plate. We started with the yogurt and cucumber dip(it’s called mast o’khiar, but their menu doesn’t put the Farsi names) to have with the lavash(a paper-thin bread) they bring to the table. We also ordered the stuffed grape leaves, which are served with cherry juice and barberries on top, which give them a slightly sweeter flavor that I miss when I get grape leaves anywhere else. My mom ordered the filet mignon kabobs with cherry rice, while my dad chose the chicken kabobs. I opted for my favorite dish, their chicken pomegranate stew(called fesenjoon). It’s a rich, thick stew made with finely-ground walnuts and pomegranate molasses. I love making this dish at home, but it’s very time-consuming(not to mention how expensive the ingredients are), so I always order it here. Their portions are generous, so I always have enough for another meal. I’ve also visited their buffet a few times, and it’s fantastic. It runs every day during lunch from 11:30 to 2:30, and it’s all you can eat for $ 11.95. The options include: salad bar, hummus, the yogurt and cucumber dip, tabouli, grape leaves, tahdig(crispy rice), regular rice, chicken and ground beef kabobs, and several stews(although not the fesenjoon, sadly). Each time I’ve come, I’ve left completely stuffed. Even my picky mother(who is very wary about any type of ethnic food… yes, even Persian, and she married a Persian guy!) asked for me to take her here for the buffet and loved it. She’s like the older female version of Mikey from the Life cereal commercials: «Mikey likes it!» If you have any room at all left in your stomach(and if you do, kudos to you), order the falloodeh: it’s a slushy, icy dessert similar to Italian ice, made of rice noodles and rosewater. It sounds strange, but it’s so refreshing and delicious. Enjoy!

Great food had my Buddy’s not so surprise party. service was OK owner was a gentleman. The barg was a bit bland and the koobedeh was good a bit moist if you can imagine chicken was perfect and the apps were great! All in all worth it especially if you’re Persian :)

Had a groupon for this place and thought it sounded good. Went with 4 people and everyone had something different. Shrimp Kabob, Filet Mignon Kabob, Beef & Green Herb Stew and Chicken & Beef Combo. Nobody really enjoyed their meal, unfortunately. The person with the filet fared the best. The meat was dry, dry, dry. Way overcooked. The shrimp was rubbery. The stew was claimed to be «bland» by my stepdad. Seasoning seemed nonexistent. The rice was ok. Hardly anyone in the restaurant and it still took a rather long time to get our food. Not sure what all the fuss is about, or why it has so many good reviews. It wasn’t the worst thing ever but certainly not something I would go back for.

I’ve been going to this place for just under 10 years. Even with a couple of ownership/name changes over that time, it is better than ever. All the food tastes great and *feels* great! What I mean is: you can tell the food is cooked in a healthy way and not overly greasy or salty. Even though I stuff myself to the gills, I always feel great afterwards. If you can get there for the lunch buffet Tue-Fri it’ll be well worth your while.

Top notch Persian food obviously made with skill and care. We probably over-ordered, as everything is shareable, but ended up with a lot of takeout for the next day! The salads were all incredibly light and fresh, and the rice dishes perfectly combined the various flavors — lentils, raisins, etc. The filet Kebob was tender and delicious, and the kids scarfed up the steak and rice. Highlight was the pomegranate chicken, covered in a thick, deep brown walnut-pomegranate gravy. Wow! Overall, for South Florida, this is a five star casual Persian restaurant you will absolutely enjoy.

Truly Amazing food! My husband makes it a point to eat at a Persian restaurant each time we travel to a new city and loves to compare the food so we have had our share of Persian food throughout the years. The food was superb and the server Jay was very attentive. Soft music in the background and the ambiance is comfortable and kid friendly. Hummus was great with grilled chopped onions on top, tahdig(rice crust) was cooked perfect and crunchy… We had ours topped with our favorite stew Ghormeh Sabzi! Great appetizer! Our main entrée was the traditional Persian kabob Soltani(one skewer beef filet Barg, and one skewer ground beef Kubideh), and we each substituted plain rice for the Dill Lima Bean rice(Baghali polo), and sour cherry rice(Albalo polo)… The kabobs were moist, and delish, and both rice dishes were perfect.($ 3extra) The ice cream was refreshing and worth trying w a strong scent of rose and cardamom. The meal concluded with a traditional Persian hot black tea! Loved this place and would highly recommend it.

This is no longer Pasha’s. Kuluck has reopened in this location! Very very happy to report that they have reopened!!! Most amazing grape leaves, warm eggplant dip, and kuluck special with the steak, chicken, and best ground beef kabob ever! Don’t forget to order the cherry rice with it too. You’ll thank me later!
