EXTREMELY RUDE. Went into there to look for something f relating to my mother being diagnosed with cancer. The lady was following me from when I walked in the door, like I was going to steal. Made me feel very uncomfortable and was extremely unprofessional. I kept glancing back because I was being stared at and followed. Just as we were ready to drop fifteen dollars on one of their campy overpriced candles, the gentleman who smelt strongly of cheap whiskey stormed over and slurred, «You guys have been spending more time looking over your shoulders at us than looking around the store. NOW IS THERE SOMETHING I CAN HELP YOU WITH?!» He continued to berate us for browsing his merchandise. DO NOT go here. They have terrible hours, poor selection and unreasonable prices. Unilocal needs to offer 0 star ratings for places like this! They need to learn how to treat customers. This interaction sucked and made me feel worse than I already did. I don’t know why they had to act like this with absolutely no reason to think we would cause any trouble. I resent the implication that I have nothing better to do than shoplift from overpriced gift shops. RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL

They offer friendly, local, family service and know-​how in a world of large, impersonal box stores. Always a smile, great selection of just-​the-​right-​thing for, say, a hostess gift, cute Christmas village collection — and, of course, they know their hardware — especially hard-​to-​find items. They can usually suggest a fix for problems that seem to crop up in older and historic homes. Great place, highly recommend!
