Took a laptop in for anti-virus work only to have my hard drive accidentally wiped(a data restore was attempted… and failed), the outer case scratched-up, and my power adapter misplaced — all for a mere $ 200!* Oh, and it took nearly a month, if memory serves. *I should also mention that they installed a refurbished 60gb second HDD that I didn’t ask for or particularly need.(Edit)

I went to Moe’s Computers to try to recover files from my Apple laptop’s hard drive. I was originally told that it would take two days to get the files. I went to Moe’s instead of a competitor because the competitor said it would take two weeks. Two days later, I called to check in, and I didn’t hear back. For the next 10 days, I called daily to get my computer, with the receptionist saying the technician would get back to me but I never heard back. Almost two weeks after I took the computer in, I finally heard back from the technician. Once I got a response, the quality of the work was good and they were able to recover the files. But the stress and frustration caused by their absence of communication were enough to make me recommend trying another company before you try Moe’s.

Moe’s Computers is a small store, that does computer repair, which I found after my Hard Drive died. Most places charge you an arm and a leg, just to tell you what’s wrong with it. Moe charges $ 20.00 to give you a diagnostic. Service is good and prompt.
