This place is just ok. Prices aren’t terrible, but not cheap for a pedicure that lasts only 6 days before toe nails start chipping. What a waste of money. I wouldn’t go here again. And I paid extra for supposedly longer lasting finish. Too many other choices to get a great pedicure.

Brows on point! Normally don’t trust any one with my eyebrows but it was a much need. Cathy was very professional & got the job done quick. Def. making this my new brow to go to place. Paid $ 15 for brows and lip wax. Thumps up!

I have been in to Solar Nails twice now. I really did not care for the customer service the first time I went all the way back in August, but they did a good job on both my daughter and my nails. I went to Solar last week for a manicure. My nails were filed unevenly which I tried to point out but there was a communication issues. I also felt that the up-​sell was more important to the technician than performing the service. I politely said No several times to gel, eyebrow wax, acrylic nails. I had only time to have a manicure, not to have any other services performed. Solar nails you have lost a paying customer due to your technicians sub par technique, hard sale tactics, and stressful atmosphere.

This place is great as I stumbled across it while driving in St. Petersburg one Sunday afternoon. I currently live in South Tampa on the other side of the bridge, but make it a point to get my pedicure at Solar Nails. Also, there massage chairs are awesome to the point that I don’t want to get out when my pedicure is all finish. Highly recommend.

Will never step back into this salon again. The tech I’ve been loyal to for years just called me complaining about the review I left for the owner, in regards to an experience I had 3 years ago with him. Sad to leave a great tech in a pretty salon.

Walked in at 7:15pm, closing time being 8pm… they did a gel manicure and spa pedicure and got me out at exactly 8pm. Wonderful service, quick and very friendly. Glad I «walked in» here!

I finally found the best nail salon in St Pete FL. Traveling in our RV this winter has made it very difficult to trust nail salon reviews and I have had too many bad experiences to keep track of. This salon is very upscale, clean, with English speaking technicians with great experience. Lan did my pedicure and she couldn’t have been cuter. she took care of those horrible ingrown toenails and was very gentle. Leah gave me a nail shellac and trimmed my tough cuticles perfectly. The salon was spotless, calm, with gentle music in the background and not all that personal chatter between technicians most places have. I will be able to return once more before I leave for our next trip. Keep up the great work Solar nails & Spa. :-)

All previous reviews are accurate for sure, the employees seem to genuinely care about their customers experience. From the relaxing instrumental music playing softly from the hidden speakers to the cloud pictures that covered the ceiling lights and the lack of chemical smell that was not over powering with the smell of fresh incense burning. TV was on mute. Excellent massage chairs, very clean there and every employee was courteous. There was one of the employees son’s there, I never would have known there was a kid in the room– he was well behaved. I was truly impressed with my experience here today and I will return in the future to try more services.

The place is absolutely amazing! I have not been to a better place in St. Pete. It’s very clean! The staff is nice! Yen the owner is very personable! She remembers me every time I come in. The regular pedicure includes a hot stone massage. The massage chairs are great!

The best nail salon in St Pete. Very clean and professional place. Very friendly staff. I have been going there for few years now and I love it. Had medi, pedi, acrylic and eyebrows done. They are good with everything. I would recommend them to anybody.

This place is amazing. Very clean and relaxing inside. Their regular pedi includes a hot stone massage! What a nice surprise this was. Definitely the best place I’ve been in a long time.
