Great comfort food! Great people! Enjoyed being there after a long day of driving.

Went here for Friday night and it was real crazy. But fun music made everyone feel at home. I then came here for dinner on Saturday and it was so good! The burgers were made from high quality meat and were huge. We also got calamari, which was the special, and it was fantastic. Cooked perfectly and not breaded too heavily. I’ll definitely be back

We went here expecting the Kitchen but it had closed but that was ok! We had been to MacDinton’s a while back and thought it was pretty good but we were really impressed this time. First off you are outside which is great then they had an all you can drink happy hour for $ 10! Yep you heard that right! Really easy to do drink $ 10 worth and more. The food was awesome too. We had the pork belly sliders that rocked. Great small plate. Our bartender, Katelyn. Was really good and got the wife some wine she liked. Really enjoyed our time here.

I absolutely love this bar! I only go when Tara is working a Fiesty and attentive bartender. I recommend this place to anyone who loves English premier league, a good pint, and a fun Irish atmosphere. Ask for Tara if you want great service.

Tara and Deirdre are the best bartenders here, they remember what your face and are just the sweetest! Will come back just to see them again! Will definitely recommend my friends to come here!

This Celtic pub serves the best Irish breakfast (weekends) complete with black and white ‘puddings’! And their burgers are the best in the downtown area.

Not a fan of this location. I prefer the one in SoHo. Better lay out. When we walked in it was mega crowded. We went to the bar outside and Brian went to get us drinks. However, the bartender snubbed him. So we decided to leave. Again, when trying to leave people are just standing around in a mass like goons and don’t move. So I bulldozed my way through, my anxiety hit and I began pushing people aside. I’ll drive to SoHo to hit up the other locations.

I have been a visitor of this place before… this was my first before visiting the Soho location. I had pretty average experiences before but this time I just had to write a review.
Reasons being that I gave this two stars was the mass chaos that was happening on front of the bar. I mean this place is pretty massive and basically has a bar facing the street (nice idea). But what drove me to give this visit two stars was the fact that I went out after visiting another bar and waiting in line was getting snubbed at the outdoor bar at Janus. I decided to go with the outside bar with my best friend to get her and myself a drink and proceeded to wait about ten minutes, granted it was super busy outside as well for two bartenders, but when it was my turn (after being skipped two people in front of me) I asked for her two drinks, the bartender proceeded to tell me that she doesn’t have anything and IMMEDIATELY moved on to the next patron; no asking about if you want anything else or «let me get this customer and I’ll come back to you» sort of deal.
With that being said, left me a super sour taste in my mouth and asked Kat to leave… here’s where it for tricky (being first Friday), it took us so much to push people to get outta there that my friend had to bulldoze her way out because the environment had her anxious. she followed me but I could not prevail fast enough to escape.
Will I visit this place again? Possibly. Will I do this again on a first Friday? No.
PS, treat your customers with respect from the outdoor bar as I was very calm, cool and collected waiting to get my drink order in only to be ignored when there was nothing available.

I have been to the MacDintons in Tampa many times so I was excited to check out the MacDintons in downtown St. Pete. It was fun! Very open, I like the outside area with the connect 4. It’s always fun to have games at a bar to keep us entertained while enjoying our drinks. We ordered the wings and they were really flavorful. Its located in a great area where you can bar hop and check out the downtown area.

Great pub environment with terrific service. The food quality has declined. Irish spring rolls were basically sauerkraut stuffed fried rolls. The corn beef and cabbage was a great portion yet the sauce on it did not pair well. The shepherds pie was 90% potato.

Great happy hour deals and live bands. The happy hour has $ 10 unlimited beer or well drinks from 6 PM to 8 PM. Love it. Nice understanding staff. Good place to go and party and I’ve been countless times. So much fun! Great atmosphere.

This was our go to place to watch the early Chelsea match.
After a night of serious imbibing we needed food and hair of the dog while doing so. We found both here.
A proper pour of black and tan followed by a delicious hot brown sandwich. The food was really good and their menu is quite varied. They even had the traditional English breakfast with beans and blood sausage!
Food down. jameson began. The birthday boy got a complimentary shot from the super friendly and efficient bartender.
I hAvent been here at night so I can’t comment on that but if you’re into football it’s a great place to gather and watch some.

Fun, unique place right in the middle of the action in St Pete. They play great music to dance too late on weekends nights. It’s also a great place to chill to watch football or grab a drink in the afternoon.

Worst sushi ever ! I ordered sushi, and the owner Mike, didn’t have any more sushi. Terrible hockey bar! Ask for the «all American special»

I prefer this one over the Macdintons located in Soho. I usually come here during First Friday. They always have a good happy hour. They usually have a band (all the answers, rocktopus) or a dj spinning. They even have Karaōke sometimes. Be warned, it can get very crowded and very loud, so if those things bother you, you probably shouldn’t go. I always have fun there and I think you will too.

This place rocks! «All The Answers» band killed it with 80 – 90’s music — all the songs you never knew you wanted to hear in a bar, by a live band.

Pros: Located downtown St Pete off 1^st Ave N and 3^rd St N next to the Central Ave strip, Macdintons Irish Pub St Pete has better live music and acoustics than Macdintons SoHo, a better older 30’s crowd than Macdintons SoHo, and a better menu than Macdintons SoHo. In addition to the traditional Irish fare, Macdintons St Pete has sushi which they cater from the Kitchen restaurant next door. Macdintons St Pete has the same specials as Soho with the exception of Wed: $ 4 Moscow Mules, $ 4 Irish A**, trivia on Wed, $ 1 beers and Karaōke on Thurs, $ 10 Open Bar Happy Hour 6−8PM on Fri, and $ 3 Blue Moons Sundays. Street Parking is limited downtown St Pete and there are some pay for parking garages close by.
Cons: Not as big as Macdintons SoHo, smaller patio than Macdintons SoHo, smaller crowds than Macdintons SoHo unless there’s a concert at Janus Live next door, and then it can get too busy.

Sat at the bar on a Sat early night to a have couple of beers before hitting a show at Jannus. They had Irish Night with live Irish music and $ 4 Irish Beers. Bartenders are friendly. Good people watching for sure. They serve food and people around us looked to be enjoying what they ordered. They have outside seating for smokers. Lots of tv’s. It is a little loud, but it a bar. Enjoy!

The atmosphere is great depending on when you are there. Sometimes they have an open bar with a $ 10 payment at the door.
I would not recommend their food. I’ve been to this one a few times and the one in tampa, and everything had not been good. Even the hummus. IDK how you can mess that up.
Another downer is that late at night, the employees don’t know how to work the sound to the tvs. So after listening to Bön Jovi instead of the USA soccer game, we left the other 5 people at the bar for another place that could play sound.
Fun bar, when the feel is right,

Went here last night to celebrate PRIDE with some friends and had the time of my life (I think). I’ve been here several times before but it’s usually soo crowded, I don’t end up staying for very long. Last night was perfect because all the college kids are out of town. We showed up around 9:30 and there wasn’t a line to get in… yay. There was a fair amount of people mingling at tables. At around 11, it began filling up and the music was on point! Most of the bartenders were friendly and provided fast service. All but one… I was asked if I wanted to leave it open or close out so I went with the latter option. After waiting patiently for several minutes, I tried asking her if she had swiped my card. And she nodded. Then I waited and eventually asked another bartender if she could please grab my card (I mean who wants to spend their time waiting at the bar when they can be dancing! :p). But still, she didn’t come over with my card. I asked nicely two more times where my card was at before she finally brought it over. I understand she had a few other people waiting for a drink, but at this point it wasn’t very busy and my friend who came over 10 minutes after me received his check before me. Besides that, it was a fun time. There was an even amount of guys and girls, most in their twenties and thirties. Drinks are about 6 dollars each.
