Being a vegetarian and seeing all the previous reviews I expected to love the food. Unfortunately not. The cold Thai curry soup was OK, edible but not tasty. The only reason I almost finished it was that was the only thing I could eat. The real deal sandwich comes in a wrap that feels and tastes like leather. The filling was greens but not tasty at all. The tastiest thing on that plate was small bunch of grapes. My husband’s burger(there is no bun) was hard to eat too. Cold patty and he could not continue after a few bites.

Just dropped into Leafy Greens for a lunch with the parents and we had a wonderful time! Our female server was friendly and welcomed us immediately. We ordered the Leafy Greens house salad which had a mild pesto dressing. My father and I shared the tacos, the Real Deal sandwich and the Tuscan pizza. He loved the tacos! They were lettuce wraps with a fake chorizo and a zesty sauce drizzled along the top. I really enjoyed the Tuscan pizza. The tomatoes were so flavorful and the crust was delicious. Although the breading around the sandwich was great, I didn’t think the dish itself was as good as our other choices. Will definitely be visiting again soon!

Very nice café. Excellent food and service. Very nice selection of Teas. Good portions at a reasonable price. Has tables both inside and outside. Menu is small but everything looks real good. We had the«Real Deal» and«Zucchini Spaghetti».

Of course, I rely on Unilocal to find me the best of the best! Leafy Greens Café popped up and off we went for some raw deliciousness. Leafy Greens is an adorable little place, we sat outside because the weather was amazing. We ordered tea and each got an infuser cup, with absolutely delicious tea. I ordered the Thai soup and my husband got the raw Lasagne. I was very impressed with all the flavors, they were bold and completely delicious. It is on the pricier side, but a definite go to!

Great quality, but be warned about the pizzas. My boyfriend and I ordered a full Mediterranean pizza, thinking that we were getting a full pie. However, when our order came out, we only got 2 slices. I asked our server after we paid if we were overcharged, and she said that 2 slices of pizza was their«full» pizza. I’m not sure if this bit was listed on the menu in the restaurant, but it’s definitely not online as of 12÷28÷15. We paid $ 16(excluding tax and tip) for 2 slices of pizza. Rip off alert is the first thing that comes to mind. We ended up going to Whole Foods after Leafy Greens in which we were able to buy whole(circular, not just 2 slices) of vegan pizza for $ 5 each.

First, the food is what matters. I wolfed down their The Real Deal«sandwich» in probably 5 minutes. It was that good. Coconut soup was great. Wife had Tacos that come standard with lettuce as the tortilla… which, believe it or not, was very flavorful. For the first time in distant memory, we felt satisfied from our meal, but didn’t feel bloated like we ate a big meal from any traditional restaurant. I don’t buy in to the whole natural food mumbo-jumbo, but we felt physically GOOD when we left. Isn’t that enough reason to try the place with an open mind? Great tea selection — try something new! All said, this place is not for everyone. If you want a burger or heavy Italian food, don’t go here. If you want a new experience, want to stretch yourself, like fresh ingredients, and don’t mind spending a little extra money, this is the place. It is small, eight tables inside plus outdoor seating. Near I-275 and Tropicana field. Food came quickly(it IS minimally prepared). Small menu, but you aren’t coming for 15 kinds of heavy italian dishes and 10 beers on tap. It will taste good.

Wonderful commitment to raw cuisine. The options are fresh, creative and tasty. Vegetarian or not, this is something to be experienced and appreciated, The menu offers great options. We had the good fortune of visiting this place during a glorious Sunday afternoon and chose an outside table. By all means, have the dessert, totally worth it.

I went there with some friends of mine who are vegetarians. I am not, but I like good food and this was a tasty find. I ordered two slices of the Mediterranean Pizza, but they only had one left, so I had one taco and one slice of mediterranean pizza. Both were excellent. I was a little skeptical about the taco coming in a romaine leaf and thought it would fall apart and be difficult to eat, but it was probably easier than a «normal» taco. The flavors were fantastic and the combination of ingredients went really well together on both items. My only gripe is that both the pizza and the tacos are 1 for $ 10 and 2 for $ 16, but they charged me $ 20. I know I ordered one of each, but I thought they could have cut me a break since my initial request was for two slices of pizza and it wasn’t my fault they only had one slice left.

Im not vegan but this place blew me away. I loved everything I ordered. The Mediterranean pizza was amazing. If you are a fan of olives you will love this dish. The zucchini spaghetti is topped with raw tomato sauce and mix with a variety of spices that softens the tomato flavor to perfection. Lastly the chocolate pie I ordered was the right mix of sweet and sinfull. Each part of each dish had is own flavor and was thought about when made. Every dish was plated wonderfully. The waitresses was attentive and intuitive.

In town visiting and wanted good quality and healthy food. Enter: Leafy Greens Café. Alright so, I was a pretty strict vegetarian for like 15 years, but not so much anymore. Well, not at all anymore. And, even with my propensity to enter vegetarian/vegan establishments, I was still a little frightened by the menu — pretty extreme! However, boom! I was really shocked at how amazing everything was! I had«The Real Deal» and was totally skeptical of the«Raw Onion Bread.» But it was sooooo tasty that I couldn’t have imagined the dish without it. Also, it was only $ 11, which is crazy cheap considering the high quality ingredients. I recommend this dish to anyone! I will go back next time I’m visiting St. Pete and have already recommended it to a bunch of people!

Great service with friendly smiles! Also, the soups and tacos were my personal favorites. We also couldn’t decide on one dessert so we tried them all. The chocolate cherry pie and mango cobbler I am literally dreaming about right now! You could put both of them in the dessert room at Berns and no one would know they were vegan!

Leafy Greens is my type of Restaurant, they could offer a greater selection but the menu is still good nevertheless. I loved the creativity and the dedication they put in the style of cooking. Everything was fresh and made to order, no GMOs, all good stuff. The service was very good, our waiter was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The food was delicious, the real deal was probably my favorite dish on the menu, fresh, healthy goodness. If you are into organic food and care about your health and wellness, you need to try leafy greens, juices are freshly squeezed, great selection on teas, they’ll even tweak it to your liking at your request.

Super foods here. Raw and delicious. I also appreciate the adagio tea sold here. I order adagio online´, but it is great to have a real life offering. It is pricey here, but that is to be expected with raw, organic foods. Definitely worth a visit.

The tacos and pineapple gazpacho were so delicious! I also tried their chocolate lava cake and blk water, both very good. I wish we had more raw vegan places like this one in New York. This place is definitely a must when I’m in town.
