Papa John’s Pizza

My delivery order was cancelled without being notified. It was after midnight. I called the next day manager was nice and offered a free pizza. I called to use that and was given misinformation and the manager in duty was rude.
I love Papa Johns but will never use this location again.

Never again will I order from this location, or from any Papa Johns for that matter. For starters, all the area locations advertise ½ off if the Cardinals won the previous day. The app wasn’t working so I had to call my order in, only to find that «they don’t have anything to do with the online system, and the order is only good if you order online». The person I talked to was incredibly rude about it. I went through with the order anyway because I was really hungry. It ended up being what I expected, below average pizza, and they didn’t include the garlic sauce in the box. FAIL!

Worst ever. Dear lord. Lost my pizza. Said I haven’t ordered since March when I’m showing them my confirmation for today. Waited an hour and now have to wait an hour otherwise they won’t refund my card for 10 business days. What a joke! Their job is easy and they can’t do it right or with a polite tone.

It’s been a while since I have eaten a pizza from Papa John’s. I couldn’t even tell you how long it’s been, but I know it’s been a while. I was craving pizza one Saturday afternoon and thought to myself «why not?». I was going to be out of the house running errands and thought I could pick up a pizza on my way home. I placed my order online (so conveinent) and knew I had about 30 minutes before I needed to pick it up.
When I arrived the pizza was ready and it was made just as I requested (pineapple and peppers)! I also made sure they still gave me a garlic butter on the side and they did; that’s the best part!
The pizza made it home and I enjoyed my lunch. I even shared with my bf since I knew I couldn’t eat the whole thing by myself! The pizza was hot and tasted great. I will definitely order from here again, maybe next time for delivery!

Just got off of the phone with them. We have ordered pizza a few times from this location and they delivered here without hesitation. Now, seemingly all of a sudden, there is a problem and they can’t deliver here. Mind you, we are 1.5 miles away from this location. The lady on the phone sounded confused and put me on hold 4 times over such a miniscule inquiry. It just seems odd to me that they were so disoriented over such a trivial thing.

Papa John’s on the east coast has always been good, but this is the first time I ordered from a Papa John’s and regretted my decision afterward. I ordered a pizza with a bunch of veggies, jalapenos being one of them. When I got the pizza, it was covered in jalapenos and barely had any of the other veggies on it. What in the world?! The jalapenos were overpowering and burned the heck out of my mouth, as they covered a huge portion of the pizza. There were barely any other toppings. My pizza also did not come with the cups of garlic sauce I ordered, and that really made the entire experience worse. Should’ve just went with Imo’s like I originally planned. Avoid this location at all cost.

Papa Johns for the win today! I had to order 20 pizzas for an event today, which to me is a lot of money, especially since I was paying out of my own pocket. I could not have been more impressed with the entire situation. About a week ago I called the store, and the person took a long time to walk me through different options to help get me the best discount possible. I ended up ordering through the website. In order to obtain the best discount, I called the website’s 1 – 800 number (per the suggestion of the store’s staff). It took a while on the phone with them, but I ended up getting a pretty incredible deal. I think I could have gotten an even better deal if I have been more patient or had more time, but I still think what I got was more than fair. They also called me today to CONFIRM my order. I was shocked. I can’t remember the last time I got customer service that great! Also, while talking to the store manager, my phone died and it took me like an hour to find a working phone to call her back. They were incredibly patient, and the driver was so friendly, too. Even though I tipped more than on a normal order, I know the tip I left wasn’t the best tip ever, I’ve been a driver before, but I did the best I could do for him. He still treated us like a 5 star customer. I have been so impressed with Papa John’s in St. Louis, and I think after this experience I’m a die-​hard.

Well decided to try this store again today but unfortunately I did not have any better luck. Placed my order for carry out so I at least wouldn’t have to wait on them. I ordered the new featured pizza, a cookie, and extra garlic cups and seasoning and Parmesan packets. Keep in mind I paid for all of this. Well I get home and I have the pizza and the cookie. No garlic cups, no seasoning packets. I paid my money to get those. So while my lukewarm pizza is heating in my oven, I called the store to see if I had possibly forgotten my bag with extras in it, no I just «didn’t ask for them so it my fault.» No. I paid for then, I ordered them, you should give me what I ordered. «We don’t believe you never got them so if you want more you’ll have to pay for them.» Ok Gravois Papa Johns, thanks to you I’ll probably just take my pizza needs to Pizza Hut or Imo’s. I hope you have fun stealing from customers with your horrible customer service.

Food is always exactly the way I ordered it and piping hot. Their deliver drivers are great as well. Always on time and very polite and courteous.
Can’t go wrong with this team!

I use to work at a Papa John’s when I was in college (Go Dawgs!). Every friend I have that use to work at a chain restaraunt swears they’d never eat there again. I have the opposite feeling and it surprises even me! I LOVE papa john’s! I know first hand that the processes they use (assuming they are being executed) result in clean fresh delicious food. Toppings are prepared daily and everything is dated as soon as it arrives with an expiration that is managed well. The only thing that comes from a bag is the black olives… and those are gross anyway.
Little trick I’ve learned… order extra sauce because not only is it delicious but they have to put extra cheese on it to cover it up!

Yes it is a chain, but I like their crust and sauce so I will let Pappa in my house.
I’ve recently gotten burned out on my hometown pizza delivery joints and have started to revisit the national chains. Papa was the first and he delivered us a good pie. I hop on-​line, built our own pizza with Spicy Sausage, Onion, Green Pepper and Baby Portabella Mushrooms. I then entered my payment information and clicked the final button. Thirty minuets later, we had a flavorful pizza at our door.
I use to be a BIG fan of thin crust pizza, but I am slowly leaning and appreciating a thicker pie crust. Imo’s may claim that their toppings extend to the edge of the pizza, but I love Papa’s crust and the Garlic Dipping Sauce they include with your pizza. Yummy.
Papa and I may not see eye to eye on politics, but we are eye to eye on his pizza.
