One of the best gyros in town. They fill the gyro with meat, and the meat is nice and thick cut. The service is good and you can pick up and carry out. The saganaki, or flaming cheese, is one of their specialties, and I highly recommend getting it as your appetizer. Definitely one of the top 3 Greek restaurants in St. Louis.

Chef Ramsey would go to town on this kitchen nightmare. They have more microwaves than Goedeker’s and they’re open on Sunday. The décor is nice if you like to look at trashcans and mops while dining. That said, my gyro was good and our server was good as well.

I don’t normally post reviews of restaurants, just normally do check ins only. Olympia Kebab House, however, deserves a quick shout out — it’s some of the best food in STL. Period.

Love this place!!! The wait staff are superb. Order the gyro whatever you do! But really anything here is absolutely delicious.

Girlfriend and I ate here and it was my first time. It was a great experience. The waiter/host/bartender was polite, fast and knowledgable. Had the shrimp appetizer that was so fresh and good then followed up with pork kebabs that were even better! This was my first time and I’ll definitely be back!

Great atmosphere, neighborhood bar-ish. I had a gyro, very good! Open late as well.

A more casual Greek dining experience. Some wooden booths and knick knacks for a different atmosphere. They play with some recipes too which is fun if a bit less authentic. Multiple house wines and reasonably priced entrees will keep you coming back. The gyro salad is a little more expensive than other St. Louis Greek options which is a main reason I regularly go elsewhere. When you’re here, go for the dolma or moussaka! I can never resist saganaki or baklava. Pretty good Greek and away from other options.

Not a bad spot! I made a visit here after I had spent a very cold evening at the Missouri Botanical Gardens. It was a good thing too. They had the heat rocking and we warmed up fast. OK&T didn’t seem to have any off street parking, but we found a good place to park anyway. The décor was a bit hodgepodge. There were some quality ornate fixtures and furniture next to some not so much ornate fixtures and furniture. The atmosphere was good. What ever it was. We agreed on an appetizer of potato skins with tzatziki sauce. They were actually really good and went well with the sauce. I ordered the lamb kabob. They came with some jakey rice, a tomato wedge, cucumber slices, olives, and a quartered pita. The lamb was OFFTHEHOOK. It was so tender juicy. The flavor was perfect. The restaurant was fairly clean. The service was very helpful and attentive.

The service is really what brings this review down(otherwise, I’d give it a solid 3, maybe a low 4 stars). My friends wanted to meet for dinner, and I love Greek food. But of the several times I’ve been to Olympia, the service is pretty slow and generally requires a couple of inquiries into the whereabouts of ordered drinks, appetizers, etc. And this is true, whether there are many many people there, or just a few. The Food is good, but the last two times I’ve been there, the grease has been a little overwhelming on the gyros. The hummus plate is good and the baba ganoush is quite delicious. Alcoholic drinks are pretty weak(but this isn’t a «bar», so I wasn’t expecting much different). Really, if you want a better Greek experience(great service, great food), go to Ari’s on Hampton.

Great restaurant that I’ve gone to for years. Best gyros in the city, and I love the saganaki. Highly recommend it!

If you go and do not get the saganaki, you’re living life incorrectly. This was my third time going, and since the first, I have gotten the saganaki every time. Sure it is a bit showy and the waiter needs to spend the extra time to make the cheese go up in a fireball, but it is Sooooo tasty. The staff is friendly and I believe multiple employees are family, so they do actually care. Only complaint is I don’t believe they have a stable table in the whole restaurant, but who goes for a stable table? it’s all about that cheese!

Love this place! We’ve always had good, prompt service. The gyros are delicious, and I love the Mediterranean meltdown appetizer dip with pita. The place has a very chill atmosphere. I recommend it!

I really enjoy the gyros, but need to try other items on the menu. They have a nice patio and the service was great.

OMG the BEST!!! Never can say enough about this place. We have been coming here for years and it will remain our favorite Greek place for years to come! The service is always prompt. The food is amazing amazing! They even cater meals for our children who are learning to like it all in stages. :-) Totally worth the little out of the way drive!

Service~4 Stars Food~ 4 Stars Came here a couple ago with a friend. The food is great here and the atmosphere is nice(the inside is very quaint, I would recommend it during rush hour time as outside can get a little bit loud). I ordered the flaming cheese, gyro, and baklava. All of these were excellent. The flaming cheese is interesting as they put on a little show for you when they bring it out(light it on fire). The gyro is very large and quite filling and the baklava is perfect way to end your dinner. I paired it was a pale ale, but they have good happy hour deals if you like blue moon. The service was pretty attentive and made sure check in to see if everything was going fine throughout the meal, and was essentially on par for the establishment. Overall, both the food and the service was good, I would recommend it for anyone looking to have an enjoyable Greek dinner.

Okay, so a friend of mine really wanted meet here to try this place and I thought«oh no… I don’t know much about Greek food other than the gyros!» Lol So I took a sneak peek at the menu before I arrived to choose my meal and drink. lol ;) I had the eggplant Parmesan… It…Was…So…Good! My friend insisted that we swap a portion of our choices for each other to try. He had a chicken breast meal, it was better than the eggplant parm! I recommend this place! I also recommend you choose an outdoor patio seat for nice warm days! It can get crowded inside :) SN: The waiters were nicer and more approachable than the waitresses!

Gyro wrap is good. It’s not to die for and the last time I was there, I ordered the deluxe and it was smaller than the regular.(how does that happen? Come on) Outside seating is nice. Prices are decent. It’s fun and enjoyable, but it’s not to die for.

This place was great in accommodating us, a large party, to sit outside when they were very busy. The waitstaff here is very cool, clearly understaffed but somehow attentive. Our order was messed up, but it wasn’t really a big deal and the staff was very apologetic. I got the gyro salad and my crew got a variety of different things. They all thoroughly enjoyed them, the only comment was that the moussaka may not be enough for a full meal. Overall, great service, good food, decent prices. Would be back for a Greek fix.

I stopped by today to grab some food for BF, who was apparently starving at work and NEEDED gyro in his life. Decided since I’ve been studying since the crack of dawn, I should probably grab something to eat myself. BF always gets the deluxe gyro. Crazy meat eater. :) I got the Mediterranean mixed vegetables and the vegetarian gyro. So this is actually the first time I’ve ever eaten anything from here. I loved it! I could eat the mixed vegetables every day, that’s how awesome they were. I was not expecting such yumminess. The vegetarian gyro was really good too. I’ll have to ask for extra tomatoes next time, but I just love tomatoes. The only«eh» thing was the pita bread was a little hard, whether overcooked or stale I couldn’t quite tell, but yeah, no. However, I’m letting it go this one time because BF says it’s not usually like that. I have never dined in here, so I can’t tell you about the service or the bathrooms or any of the dining stuff. But their service to-go is always good and prompt.

Food and service=great, but this place loses points with me. It was my first time eating there last night, and my first issue was finding a place to park. I parked on the street. This place is on a very busy road at times, and people were tailgating behind me as I was pulling in the street. As I entered the restaurant, I didn’t know there was a separate parking lot across the street for patrons! Fail. Make people aware of this. I met with some people that night, some of them who have been here many times. Nothing negative was said about the food. The food was great, like I said. I had the Feta Burger. It was $ 8 and it didn’t come with fries?! I had to get the fries separate for an additional $ 4-something. Get with the times people. I know this is a small business and I respect it, but get a bit more reasonable. My group stayed for a while, and it was nice to see flaming plates(literally!) from time to time. My other issue was the ‘grease/fryer smell’ of the place. I worked in fast food for 13 years and everytime the fryer needed cleaned, that’s what the place smelled like. I had to keep going out for fresh air! But I’ll probably be back…

To each their own, but this is not the best gyros in the StL area. It is very good, but seemed to be a bit light on the meat, and the taziki sauce is that not flavorful. While that all sounds bad, it is still a good gyros, and their salads are very good also. I would recommend that if in the area give it a try. Our service was very good.

I’ve never been for dinner. But met Miss C. and her friends in early October for a lovely time and dinner. I got the gyro salad, which I will always get from here forward. I asked for extra tzatziki, and it cost $ 1.50 extra. That was not to my liking. However, the salad was huge with an abundance of gyro meat, feta and kalamata olives(Watch out for the pits!). Service was wonderful and very timely. I took home a wonderful to-go vessel of more than half of my salad, which served for two more meals.

This place is pretty darned tasty! They definitely have some of the best flaming cheese I’ve ever had. Think a creamier and less stringy mozzerella stick with a slightly crispier and pleasantly chewy exterior with a touch of lemon. Yummmmm! And of course they light it on fire when they get to your table. Who doesn’t like fire?! We had the gyros and the meat was delicious. No sub-par meat here. The best thing, though, had to be the tzatziki sauce. I think they put crack in it. It’s so delicious. I make my own at home, which I’ve always preferred to stuff I get in restaurants, but this one blew me away. I MUSTHAVEIT. This place is definitely great eats. The décor also has a lot of character. There’s a cigarette machine in the entry way. I really can’t remember the last time I saw one, and this one really was in such great condition. I’m guessing it still works.

Went here last night after a long drive into STL, and I was absolutely famished. The bf had also skipped dinner and so was hungrier than usual too. We chose to sit outside and were promptly greeted by our server, Nick, who was very friendly and didn’t bore us with any rehearsed speeches about the menu items. :) As an appetizer, we chose the Taramosalata(a tangy spread with roe), which was great with the soft pita bread it came with – if you like that fishy taste(which the bf & I do). For dinner, we split the Mediterranean Combination Platter($ 21.95), which Nick advised us was probably too much food for a single person. It was the perfect amount for us both. The spanakopita was delicious and the bf’s favorite item in the platter. I was caught off guard by how delicious the mixed vegetables were, given the simplicity of the dish. I would return here JUST for the mixed vegetables. The pastitsio(sp?) was pretty good and something I had never tried before… In any case, we cleaned our plates and left happy & full. :) Nick also had a great sense of humor and checked up on us at just the right frequency.
