Great bar! They always have some great beers on tap and such a large selection. Even if you don’t like beer you’ll find something you’d like. The staff is super friendly too. You can bring in food from else where since they don’t serve food. And the outdoor patio is dog friendly and super relaxing.

So much beer! They have at least 2 dozen varieties on tap plus many more in bottles. They will give you a small taster if you want to be sure you like it before ordering. Our bartender was even able to give suggestions for combo-beers like a raspberry lambic with a Hefeweizen. Their indoor space is spacious and it looks like they have a cool patio area, tho it was too cold for us when we were there. They hold various events like weekly trivia on Sundays.

Great beers, and spoke with the owner on a slow day. Really nice guy, who knows a lot about beer, and makes you feel welcome. We are definitely headed back.

Great place for anyone who enjoys craft beers. Service is awesome, prices are reasonable given the quality of their beers and ales. Extremely congenial atmosphere.

Call me weird but I like to know what things buy cost. It’s the basis of Capitalism. LOL. Not so at Global Brew where some beers can be exceedingly expensive and not a single price posted anywhere in the place. Great beers/shady business practice.

Being new to the St Louis area, I was still looking for a place that I could frequent and call«My Bar». I had been to several others in the area(Trainwreck, J. Greene, etc) and had yet to be fully impressed with any of them. Well, I found the place that I will be frequenting in Global Brew and it was almost immediate. Setting/Ambiance: Global Brew almost has a warehouse/garage feel to it. Its very open with ample seating at both the bar and several tables. There are even a couple of couches in one of the corners to lounge in with its own TV set up. Multiple TVs line the rest of the bar and there are almost always sports being shown. The décor is very simple and it works. Menu: Beer, Beer, Beer!!! This place doesn’t serve food, much like ITap,(you can bring your own or even have it delivered) but has an incredible selection of craft beers. Notice I said craft. You WILLNOT find the likes of Budweiser, Guinness, Coors etc. This is a plus for me as I enjoy craft beer much much more. They always have 50 beers on tap with about 200 others in bottles located in refrigerators on either side of the taps. The selection and variety of beer has yet to disappoint. Staff: This is probably the most important aspect of finding a good bar that you want to go back to time and time again. The staff here is incredible. Period. They are all very knowledgeable about the products they sell and are some of the nicest and most attentive bartenders/servers I have come across. Amber, Vanessa, Cyle, Larissa, Pat… all of them, 5 stars across the board! I thought I knew a lot about beer until I met Cyle, the GM of the place. He knows more about beer than any other person I have met and you can tell he loves every minute of it. Drawbacks: The only thing i could say that’s a minus(minor at that), is that the chairs get a touch uncomfortable after a while. But lets face it, after a cpl beers are you really gonna notice it that much? In summary, this is a great place to have a cpl beers and just relax. Highly recommended! Also, they have started doing trivia on Sunday nights. I love bar trivia! Staff: 5 stars Cleanliness: 5 stars Beer selection: 5 stars Setting: 5 stars Price: 4 stars(Its craft beer, i going to be more expensive no matter where you go)

Global Brew is a craft beer bar with tons of taps. It is sort of like iTap in that they feature a lot of beer but no food. However, you can use their collection of menus and order food to go(or just stop by Lucky’s market for a slice of pizza on the go). When we went they had lots of different beer styles in bottles and taps. They had a great set up and atmosphere there. There is table service or you can sit at the bar. We went on a night when there was a costume contest with a raffle and a «tap takeover.» It was a great experience and we’ve been dying to go back!

Global Brew is new to the area. If you have not been before, this is like ITap, but with much better parking! There are maybe 50 beers on tap, there are hundreds of beers in bottles. There is a list of beers on tap to the left of the bar posted on the wall. If you can’t find something to drink, you are clearly not a beer drinker(but there is also a small wine selection). The bartender that was working the day we went(the same bearded guy in the main photo on Unilocal) used to work at another local brewery– he knows his stuff. He was very friendly and was eager to give us suggestions on what to drink(I’m into sour beers and I always ask for new ideas) He was the only guy working with a full bar of people during a football game. I never had to wait more than a minute for service. We drank a lot of new beers, but the one that I remember the most was Ryan and the Gosling– try it, you’ll like it. There was also an orange gose(cant remember the brewery who makes it) that was also very good! I tried Sour Bikini, but it was too tart for my tastes(and super low alcohol content, so it would have been a waste, amiright?) And the most important item to note: very clean bathrooms with door stalls that actually lock!

The«beeraurant»(my term) opened recently so my buddies and I decided to check it out. Walking in, it felt like a large garage with high top tables and couches in the corner. There is actually a roll down garage door leading to the outdoor patio, which looked cozy with a large fire pit. The door was rolled down as the temps dropped. There are a lot of tvs over a very long row of draft beers, with fridges containing bottled craft beers on either side. The bar is long and there are long tables for customers in front of the bar in addition to the high tops. The beer list is almost overwhelming but our server, Vanessa, was OUTSTANDING in her knowledge of the beers. One of my buddies doesn’t like craft beers and is a Budweiser fan, Vanessa brought two samples of beers she recommended that would compare to Budweiser… my buddy was happy with the choices. Vanessa was quick to bring samples and I left it up to her to make suggestions based on what kind of beer I asked for(pale ale, IPA, etc). Prices were not bad. Be prepared, though, to figure out your food… they do not have any(hence my term-beeraurant). I knew this going in so I was not surprised. Lucky’s Market is two doors down and has pizza, but you have to order it. You can bring your own food and there are menus to local eateries that they provide. Katie’s Pizza is across the parking lot and they have awesome food… not sure they deliver. If you love beer, you can’t do much better than Global. Lot’s of dudes, though.
