Go see Carrie at the Rock Hill store! She will take care of you. I got my glasses for a nice price. Only had to pay for the lenses!!! She is a master in disquise.

I worked with Carrie to find glasses and she was fantastic. She searched the store and new inventory to help me find a pair and was so friendly. She also made sure that I got the best price for both glasses and contacts through my VSP insurance. All around great experience and service!

Could not love this place more! I have been to several eye doctors and this one is BY FAR, the best. Everyone from the staff to the doctors, they are all really knowledgable and so kind. The nurses go above and beyond. Keri is amazing — she’s one of the nurses up front and if you ever need anything she will help no matter what. The doctors are all friendly, showing pictures of their families and their kids — it’s honestly not what you expect when you think of a «chain» eye doctor. I’d highly recommend coming here! I always had issues with contacts — I could never find the right pair even after 10 years — and my first trip to Clarkson, I realized I came in on the wrong date for my appt and told the nurse I was bummed because I was hoping to get contacts that didn’t dry my eyes. The nurse said she felt bad I drove in just for an appt even though I was the one who messed up and got the date wrong. She asked me a couple questions and asked one of the doctors advice and they gave me a sample to try for the day until I could come back. It’s little things like that which make them so friendly. AND — the contacts rocked! They are the only brand/​type that don’t kill my eyes! And it came from the nurse’s recommendation — not all of these doctors I had been seeing for years. Like I mentioned, EVERYONE at this location is super knowledgeable and friendly.

Avoid at all costs. The opthamologist gave me a wrong prescription not once but twice. The opticians later broke my new frame before I even had a chance to wear it. After several visits to this and other locations, I ended up going to Barnes for a whole new check up.

Stopped in to get a prescription filled. Looked at frames while I waited in the empty store. Could hear someone talking and laughing in the back. After about 10 minutes, the clerk came out & went behind the counter at the opposite end of the store from me. She asked if I needed anything. I said I needed to get new glasses & asked about titanium frames. She said they didn’t have many & told me I should go to one of the other stores — no offer to show me anything. She wasn’t unfriendly, but she really didn’t want to be bothered.

This was the most awesome visit I have ever experienced-​the people upfront to the doctor who was the sweetest, kindest and most informative to me. He explained everything I needed to know to protect my eyes in the future and what errors have been made in the past. It was such a pleasure to be with these people and know someone really cares about you. I recommend you to everyone-​thank you for such a pleasant visit and I am looking forward to getting my new glasses.

I’ve been seeing Dr Jill Williamson for two years now at Clarkson Eyecare in Rock Hill – I’m a huge fan of this place! My expectations were somewhat low since they advertise a TON at Cardinals games – but I figured it couldn’t be much worse than the Dr. I was previously seeing in the Chicagoland area, and they accept my insurance, so I made an appt.
First of all, the people staffing the front desk are very nice, friendly people who don’t appear to mind answering insurance questions, etc. I’m used to grumpy people who are overwhelmed with work, so it was pretty refreshing. I was also in and out of this office in under an hour, which I always appreciate, without feeling like I was being rushed out of the place. Dr. Williamson is warm and friendly, and willing to answer my questions. She even recommended a different type of contact lenses that she thought were better, and cheaper than what I was currently wearing. I’m a fan of anyone who allows me to save some $$ on health-​related items! Basically, I never dread going into this office like I do for some other Dr. appointments, and I highly recommend this place!
