High Nooner

Nice, fresh and large portion sandwiches. Staff was really friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere is casual but cool and rustic. I was really impressed with the variety of sandwich on the menu. There is something for everyone and each item has a unique and creative twist to make it interesting.

I ordered the Club nooner and a pepsi and it was definitely worth the 11 i spent. The sandwich was so large i only ate half of it and the rest will be my dinner. You do have the option of ordering a half sandwich but i like having the whole. It was very clean inside and nicely decorated. The service and staff were friendly and fast. This is definitely a fast paced sandwich shop during the lunch hour. Will definitely come again.

Absolutely delicious! Fresh bread, crispy sprouts and perfect proportions of meat/​bread/​condiments. Seems a little expensive, but sandwiches are huge and filling and well worth the cash!

So good! The prices are high for Spokane sandwiches but they aren’t typical. The bread and all of the toppings are so fresh and they have many unique sandwiches that are so good. I like the veggie (the sprouts on it are magic).
Your food is given to you in a brown lunch bag, it feels nostalgic and right!

Bomb diggity sandwiches! The brownies are equally tasty. Can’t go wrong with some high nooner! I have been a customer since 2008.

I was looking for a place for lunch and a bit of working. Their wifi is fantastic, but their customer service is inconsistent. Some individuals are fantastic! I got the unforgettable nooner but there were too many sprouts for my taste. The prime nooner is something I think about very often. Will definitely come back!

The delivery fellow was cheerful in 99 degree weather. Food was fresh and tasty. Every time I am somewhere that the group does a big order… On time and lots of great options. Props …

Great sandwiches!!! I highly recommend this restaurant. There is lots of variety! I rarely give a 5 star… We stopped here on our way through Spokane to Montana and stopped again on the way back. Sandwiches are made fairly fast or you can call ahead. We try to avoid fast food restaurants with travel and this is a great alternative. Also, the outside does not match the inside. Enjoy!

I have always loved the menu and service at this location, however my last 3 visits have not been good at all. As I sat and discussed with a friend today her recent terrible experiences here I became motivated to leave a review. Great food, higher priced but good overall good quality. The SERVICE at this location has gone downhill however. Staff has been snarky, condescending, and completely inauthentic when trying to be nice on my last few visits. Just so you are aware, we can see you gossiping in the kitchen. I won’t be back anytime soon. Get it together, please.

Food is really good, but charging 0.14 for water is petty. Makes me not want to come back really. I don’t like being nickel and dimed. Do I get a discount for wearing a jacket so you can turn down the heat? What if I order fast to use less employee time?
I don’t like it.

Delicious food, very friendly and helpful staff, and a pleasant, clean atmosphere. I have never been disappointed. Perhaps I would eat there more often if the prices were not so high. This isn’t a complaint. Quality is superior, and I’d rather they keep their prices where they are to support that. It’s just that I’m not always willing to shell out over $ 8 for a veggie sandwich. The bottom line is, I can’t imagine how they could improve on what they are doing.

My friend and I were road tripping through WA and decided to stop by.
I ordered the Unforgettable Nooner (about $ 8). It was the most popular and I thought it was good. It had sprouts and avocado and other fancy stuff!
And yes, the tiny cookie was scrumptious. I’ll add a photo of my sandwich and cookie.

I read the other reviews and and am not sure if those reviews are just older or what but i was so far from being imppressed. i got a roast beef from the build your own menu that started at 6.50. not bad price right? except that includes bread and meat and doesnt include cheese and limited vegs. and other vegs or cheese are 65 cent xtra. I also got one more choice of meat (turkey) for 2.50 more. so now im up to 11,50 and its on dried foccacia bread! Never again high nooner! I will stick to smackys on broadway

Okay, so I haven’t reviewed a place in a while. You know how it goes… you forget the service and the food by the time you get home to compose your review… because, you know, Unilocal wont allow you to post the damn thing with your phone. Whatever.
But High Nooner is an exception.
We were in Spokane for a holiday weekend get-​away (don’t ask) with 9 women. We had spent the entire morning shopping at the Old World Factory, and we were starving. Of course, with 9 women, we need options. And I wanted «nom nom»…so I Unilocaled it. Quite literally, I searched for «nom nom.» And what showed up?! High Nooner.
The place was empty, since it was a Monday after the lunch rush, and there was only two people staffing the place. We all ordered our sandwiches and soups. Starving. We pushed together several tables, and got ourselves all situated. In no time, 9 lunch sacks arrived at our table, with delicious sandwiches and perfectly seasoned soups. With an apology! For taking too long! Seriously it was fast service. Less than 10 minutes.
Truly though, what makes this place special are the cookies. Sneaky little cookies they put in your bag… that melt in your mouth! I had originally passed on buying a giant one, until I took a bite. Perfect firm shoulders, and chewy texture. Back to the counter I went to buy a giant cookie to take home to Hubs. It almost didn’t make it to him.
If the High Nooner would PM me their recipe, I would be forever in their debt.

I think these guys make yummy sandwiches! There is one with turkey, cream cheese, avocado, bacon, sprouts and tomatoes (there may be more on it!). It is to die for. I love it. They have very fast and friendly service. I recommend them to everyone!

Om nommy nom! These sandwiches are HUGE, so come with an appetite! Plus, those sneaky sandwich people even snuck a cookie in my bag for dessert!
If only it were closer…

This is always a must stop when I’m in Spokane! Their food is excellent, portions large and price reasonable and like mentioned, everyone gets a chocolate chip cookie… who doesn’t love that? You have to try the Chicken Bow Tie salad as a side with anything you get, its great!
If you eat at the shop it can be a little loud at times as they holler the orders back and forth, which I think is fun but don’t plan to have an intimate conversation. Its a great mix of somewhat high strung yet laid back (if that makes sense), friendly, sarcastic people so look out, you might get teased a bit but that’s all part of the fun… I love it!

Terrific sandwiches! I used to work near downtown and High Nooner used to deliver to my work. YummY!
I always oredered the same thing because it was so fantastic.
It had chicken, avocado and alfalfa sprouts. Great potato salad and the owner used to load us up with extra cookies.
Now I want High Nooner!
I definately recommed them for lunch.
