I LOVE concerts and this venue is by far one of the best atmospheres for a small concert setting! The sound system combined with the brick walls and smaller room make for a perfect setting for any singer/singer writer and acoustic bands. I saw Wild Child and Tyrone Wells here; both different vibes yet so fitting for this venue. I appreciate that they have delicious root beer and the option of hanging out in the bar before and after the concert.

Cool place for craft cocktails! Very good prices compared to other trendy places. The concert venue is very cute, and the acoustics sound well in that area. I would like to go back soon, as I only had drinks but the food looked good. Try the Bartlett sour, its really good!

Went down to the Bartlett with a friend from out of town last night. Saw an AMAZING show by two great acts– and couldn’t have been happier with the scale of the place or(what I believe is) the new bar out front. Pros: Ample bathrooms, intimate performance space(I’ve heard it fits a neat 150 people), great lighting on stage– you’ll know that last one once you’ve seen it. Oh, and did I forget to mention the amazing acts the venue draws to perform? Cons: Cocktails were a little on the sour side– drinkable, but sour. And that’s really the only point for growth I have for this little music oasis! Can’t wait to go back and see more performances by great local, and not-so-local acts!

Got off work late tonight and rushed down to The Bartlett for their Holiday Open Mic. Caught the last two acts. Former wasn’t bad but the last performer blew me away. She volunteered to go when the host asked if anyone would like to go again. As she tuned her guitar she said she wasn’t a musician and joked something to the effect of «banter with the audience, banter with the audience.» She didn’t look like a musician, but she could def charm a room. And then she played a song about love, premising that she has never been in love before but the song she was about to play made her feel like it. Damn it was good. Couldn’t really hear the words but the sounds she made with her guitar and voice gave me goosebumps. The open mic was scheduled for 8pm, and I finished with work around 9 and almost skipped out, but I was so glad I didn’t. Last time I was here was for an Arcade Fire themed open mic in January and I was super impressed at the talent that showed up then as well. I give Bartlett a five star review because it’s a beautiful and intimate venue – and it’s something that Spokane desperately needs – a place where artists can be inspired to do great things.

My favorite venue in Spokane. Staff is warm and inviting, and the artists that come through never fail to impress. Ticket prices are pretty great too, so seeing great acts on a budget is made very easy.

I was there with a band that was performing. The staff is incredibly nice, owner Caleb was so accommodating, and the vibe was fantastic. This is a treat of a place to see(or play) initiate shows.

What’s likely to be my favorite place in Spokane, The Bartlett treats me like family and I find a warm and intelligent community at any given hour. Many wonderful acts play here and I find myself Shazaming what’s playing over the speakers, jotting down band names not in an attempt to gain indie street cred, but because I know that whatever The Bartlett holds, it’s gonna make life just a tiny bit better.

Passed through here in August on tour as a front of house engineer. This place if very nicely put together and run. The sound was in the top 5 out of 25 dates. We weren’t expecting much from Spokane but were taken by surprise.

It’s the pride and joy of the music scene in Spokane. Great design, professionalism and shows. It’s a place to enjoy music and art and meet those who are passionate about the same thing.

Thus place is pretty kick ass! Loved it, but there was NOBODY there on a Friday AND Saturday night! So, they need to work on getting word out and start attracting a crowd.

Caleb and Karli Ingersoll have nailed it! This new live music venue is by far, my new favorite place in Spokane, nix that, it’s my favorite within a 150 mile radius. The vibe is mellow and inviting for all ages. When entering The Bartlett, you see a cozy area that consists of a few tables and a bar where one could order coffee, beer, wine and even an appetizer. Make sure you arrive early to enjoy a nice microbrew or local wine prior to the show. Even if there is no concert or poetry slam that night, don’t worry, the bar is open every Tuesday through Saturday and they have happy hour on Tuesdays. Unfortunately, when we got there to see The Pack A.D. our group was so giddy that we bypassed the bar and went directly to the back where the stage was and we never left, since there is a second bar. Why I love this place? Layout, acoustics and the concerts are cheap! For the size of the room, the acoustics were perfect(I’ve seen so many small venues fail because of this). The layout is open, but it still has some seating along the walls. The merch table is located in the back along with the other bar, so you won’t miss any of the show while getting a refresher. The stage is high enough for a shrimp like me to see over most of the giant behemoths that always manage to stand in front of me, but not to high to where it seems as if the band is looming over us minions. The only downside(and plus side) is that The Bartlett is a smaller venue, so make sure that you get your tickets early. If you don’t, you might face disappointment(like I’ve had) when you realize that your show is already sold out.
