frequent this spot simply cuz it is close to work, food is ok, it is cheap, 2 plate combo with drink all under $ 10. I do agree with some other Unilocalers, it does look run down, person behind the counter is chatty in a friendly way, portions given is always in excess it does lack taste when coming to the rice, but everything else is always hit or miss sometimes underseasoned or over seasoned never in the in between
again food is quick it is buffet style so you get wut you pay for most part for that msg fix this is the place I go haha

I honestly cant understand why this place has such a low rating. I guess I haven’t been there enough times to have a bad experience. Anyways the place isn’t extremely luring but it has its something. One a dry and sunny Tuesday afternoon I find myself on Grand Ave with only 6 dollars. Hunger was knocking on my door.

OOOO la la. Palm City with a a three in one for only 5 forty something. Strange pricing lol but the food was really tasty.
The nice breeze and atmosphere of this place seems like it would be great for large buffets, however it only seems to drag in desperate eaters. Such as me!
The service was as good as it can be. He doesnt have to do much but smile. service my food and charge. Everything is pretty much self serve. Which I like. Makes me not be lazy as hell!

Worst chicken I have ever had in my life, I orginally wanted a burrito from El farolito next door but the line was soo damn long I didnt want to wait and was tempted and fooled by the pictures of the tri tip sandwhich in the window. I questioned if this place sucked since there was no one inside… I asked the guy for half chow mein half rice and he said no we dont do that here wtf, Im paying you dumba$$ I want half rice, and half chowmein so I just got the chow mein is wasn’t bad… The orange chicken however was all chicken fat and skin with loads of thick layers of orange marmalade and siickening bits of chicken the actual little chicken that there was in the fat anfd skin was all dryed out and actually tasted like leather shreds it was soooo bad I was pissed, I almost asked for my money back I had to spit out all of the chicken shreds still stuck in my teeth like jerky really pooor, dont ever go here this place is really bad. If you are really poor and want your fill then go here otherwise dont. One thing I noticed was the man and the girl were both really nice which was good and the premade salad looked good.

I haven’t had el cheapo Chinese food in a while and my msg/​sugar levels were running low. So decided to grab some lunch from one of the hundreds of Chinese restaurants on Grand.

Their friedrice is BRIGHT YELLOW nd taste like 3 days old really ugly bad so you can tell it’s left over, but the vege-​chow mein, you see only sliced-​cabbage in it, is edible maybe only a day old.

If you are craving Chinese and you want it fast and good then this is the place. I have been coming here for ages and its never been bad. Sometimes I think they serve to much, but you cant complain. You can always have what you didn’t finish for either dinner or a late night snack. The staff here is very friendly and always ready with a «Thank You» after every sentence. Sometimes they keep on conversing and forget they are filling up your container and its overflowing to the point it wont close. Two item with one choice of either rice or chowmein comes to less than $ 6.00. Long lines everyday and some items change on the menu. I always go for the Orange Chicken, Honey Garlic Chicken or Salt and Pepper Chicken (very salty). They have dim sum too. Pork Buns, Shumei, Egg roll and spicy pork rolls. I recommend the spicy pork rolls.

Really? $ 5.00 for enough food to last me a week?! yes, that is true. Well, that depends on how much you eat, but they give a LOT of food. It’s buffet style, so choose what you want. The prices are unreasonably low, I think. But no complaints, the food is good, the people are great. Keeps me comin back!
