My bf and I actually enjoy this place quite a bit. We usually go for the tacos, but the enchilada with mole and it was bomb. My bf especially liked it. It’s a small shop, the food does take a while, but if you’re in no rush, it’s worth a shot. It’s also the only Mexican restaurant that’s walking distance from my house, so that’s always a plus.

Being the only close-by«authentic Mexican» restaurant near me, I decided to give this a shot. The food is not /that/bad, but it can be better. Their nachos are a bit on the gross side, as well as the meat they use for«carne asada.» It has no flavor or any kind of seasoning at all and it smells a bit gross. On the plus side, their Horchata is delicious… but that’s about it. Their Tortas are definitely not worth the $ 8 you have to shell out after taxes are included.

Very friendly staff. If you’re a fan of lengua, this is your stop. Delicious! Tacos de carne asada was equally tasty. Good prices. Will definitely be back!

Actually more like 3.5 stars, but given the proximity to my parents house, I’ll bump it up 0.5 a star. I haven’t had anything crazy authentic here yet, but I’m waiting to try their tacos and soup next time I’m home. My dad, who dislike all foods that didn’t come out of his kichen, enjoys the grilled and fried camerones. The shrimp are a very nice size, the rice is a little dry for me but has ample flavor. The wait does take a while but this is a small town mama-pop restaurant– authenticity is the key. I’m so happy it’s so close to my parent’s house!

Four stars for Pozole, rice and beans. Two ½ stars for burritos and enchiladas. 10 stars for service and water. Cozy restaurant, attentive service and variety of drinks. Worth trying their Pozole.

Horrible customer service. Lack of flavor in food, and really left a lot to be desired. Took over 40 minutes to make one simple quesadilla. No refills on any over their drinks.

Good place to get sick or hungry. Discusting been there 3x They think its ok to leave big chunks of gristle. I think its for the real Mexicans only.

Very good and authentic mexican food. The guacamole is excellent. Portions are large and service is friendly. I enjoyed the shrimp dinner one visit and the fajitas another. One of the people I was with said that their fish was a bit overcooked but not enough to really complain. Overall great food and value.

First impression is the resturant seems very clean. Was greeted sort of coldly, but very politely by the proprietor. I ordered a take out of 3 tacos, a lengua, al pastor and a carnitas for $ 2 each, which is a pretty good price. I would say that they are def worth the price. They came in prepackaged tortilla shells, which is always a minus, but the meat was moist and tender, however slightly bland for my liking. I added the sauces they provided which helped. I would def recommend this place. There are no other Mexican choices close by, and the food was good and reasonably priced. If they delivered, I know I would be a more frequent customer of this place.
