Awesome atmosphere. Laid back. Enjoyed meeting Rigby the dog and being welcomed into his«flock»!

Cool atmosphere, played a few games of ping pong. Great selection of beers from the area and a knowledgeable bar tender. The prices on the flights are fair too. I would return.

The beer selection is indeed expansive, and the flight affordable at two for $ 12. Would have liked to see some Hill Farmstead. The use of space could be improved… It’s a huge area but there are only about 6 tables. Merchandise takes up about half the space. The ping pong table was not setup and the bartender said she was incapable of putting it up or allowing us to do so which was a bummer. We’ll check back soon — this spot has promise. Hoping for a time this summer when I can enjoy something like Fiddlehead, Alchemist, or Hill Farmsted with the garage doors open and ping pong in full force.

I like the idea of this place. I’ve been a number of times so far and every time, they’ve added something. I believe they’ll only get better as they grow. Right now, they’ve got 21 taps to fill your growler with. You must buy one of their growlers due to state liquor laws btw — they cannot fill a growler from a different place. You can sample beer via flights, or you can grab a pint. They sell wine & bottled/canned beer as well. It’s currently not a great place to hang out but they’re working on that. They’ve got plans(I hear) for outdoor seating during the summer — I hope they build a beer garden. If you’re staying at the Doubletree/Best Western/Holiday Inn/Comfort Inn, the location is ideal for grabbing a growler of good beer before heading home.

Not cheap, odd location but knowledgeable, friendly staff and decent selection. Go with a friend and save money on the tasting flight! They have soup available if you are starving, as well as peanuts, but this is truly a location to sample and purchase beer.

Great selection of beers on tap, as well as in bottles. They also carry a fine selection of wines and do tasting, parings and other events centered around beer and wine. The ambiance of the garage is modern warehouse and goes well with the theme. Staff was friendly enough and there was a lot of novelty merchandise with the growler garage logo. Shirts, hoodies, hats, growler koozies, regular koozies, stickers, bottle openers, and my personal favorite ‘beerings’ — earrings made from various craft brew bottle caps.

Solid selection, staff seemed nice. All their shwag for sale seemed very professionally made, but pricey. Growlers were expensive compared to much of Burlington where you can get them at the brewery for really cheap, but pretty reasonable by most growler refill places. Bottle selection was solid too.

Beer selection rocks, but prices for fills strike me as high. The growler deposit is a little higher than some at $ 5, most places I’ve gone to charge $ 3. It’s the fills that I wonder about. For a Zero Gravity fill at Growler Garage, I was charged the $ 5 deposit and then $ 19.99 for the IPA. I’ve had growler’s filled at SteepleMarket, Infinity, Vermont Pub, 14th Star, American Flatbread, or Minor’s Country Store and have never paid that much for a fill.

We came here today around lunch time for our first visit, and we were surprised to be the only customers. Since it only just opened, we were expecting it to be bustling. It’s a very nicely fit-out space with an open and modern feel. I love the lcd monitor menus with the bar tap graphics in line with the physical taps — great idea and it works really well. There is also a sizable retail space with a predictable and pricey selection of bottled-beer, logo-adorned shirts, t-shirts, pint-glasses, bottle-openers etc. On to the beer-tasting. We got a 4-flight of 4oz samples for $ 6 — Festina Peche, Secret Stache Stout, Stowe Cider and Strawberry Whale Cake. Unfortunately, the only enjoyable brew was the Secret Stache Stout. The rest were completely flat and unmemorable — actually awful. To be polite, this was a very disappointing experience. Our server didn’t offer any advice, or any information about the drinks we ordered. In a place like this, I would think friendly and knowledgeable staff would be critical. Don’t you have to educate your customers about beers they’ve almost certainly never tasted before? I would think so. Our server didn’t even ask us if we enjoyed the samples when we were checking out. I think in a place like this you need staff that are passionate about beer. Nobody here gave the impression they were passionate about beer. Not even the owner who was sitting just a few feet from us working on his laptop. Hi owner. Next time pay more attention to your customers maybe, rather than planning your next beer purchase? This is a good concept that could and should do incredibly well in Burlington. I just hope they’ll get it right. We didn’t buy a growler — the fill prices seem very high compared to what we’re used to. Sorry guys, you got it all wrong.

GRANDOPENING 21 taps to fill growlers or howlers, tasting area, big craft bottle section, lots of merch and a super friendly staff. Probably the best place I’ve ever been to. Not overly expensive like most places that fill growlers. Will be stopping in a few times a week for sure.
