I had a wonderful experience with them. I took my rings in to be buffed cleaned and recoated because my white gold turned yellow. My rings were full of dirt and paint and they did a wonderful job in cleaning them up and now they sparkle. Great job you have a loyal customer from now on.

My mother recently passed away, and while going through her important papers I found a receipt from Vineyard Jewelers where she had brought a treasured piece of jewelry in to have it engraved for my daughter who was graduating med school/residency. Mom did this with her caretaker and kept it a happy secret/surprise. She was so proud of her granddaughter and excited for this day. The receipt reads: «To be engraved for Shannon Vargas“Sadly she was not able to follow through before she died. This receipt was such a treasure to find! We brought the receipt into the store and were treated with nothing but flippant disdain«We have no idea what this is.» Period. They would not research. They said they needed more information which we do not have. We only have the receipt. Of course, we will never do business with them again, and we will share our experience with anyone who will listen!

Best jewelry store ever! I’ve had a few pieces custom made for me, including my engagement ring, and I am always thrilled with the work. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to go the extra mile to make sure I get exactly what I want. The woman who usually helps me has really made an effort to get to know me and my taste and she always steers my husband in the right direction when he wants to surprise me. If I could give more than five stars I would!

I was gifted a Bulova watch(not bought from this store) and after a couple of months my band broke. So I took it here and they replaced the pin. They charged me $ 10, which is average. But then the band broke 2 more times(in the same place). Both times I brought it back and I had to re-explain what happened. When I came to pick up my watch again, I tried it on and it was too small! I immediately told the sales lady, who bluntly told me, «The link wasn’t good so we removed it. Its the only way we could fix it». WELLTHATSGREATBUTNOWITDOESN’T FITME!!! FINALLY someone said it’s probably not the pin but a couple links seem to be defective. I left my watch there hoping to get it back in about a week or so. 2 weeks passed by and I hadn’t received a call, so I called them and they told me their Bulova Rep was sick and hadn’t been in. It would have been nice, in my opinion for them to at least give me a heads up on that info. Another week passes and I call again and then they informed me, instead of Bulova shipping them a couple of links, they were shipped a whole new band. I would have paid for a whole new band just to get my watch back. But then they told me I was too late because they already shipped it back! 1 Month Later: I finally get to pick up my watch with a new link. But then they wanted to charge me $ 25 for 4 links(only 1 was needed). When I started to ask questions the sales woman didn’t have any answers and wasn’t motivated to get any answers until I asked if she could go find out for me. I also went there that day to get a ring re-sized but because of the lack of professionalism, I will take my jewelry else where. It’s a shame this store is so close and now I have to drive to another town to get good service. OH, I must include that the lady did not charge me for the additional links.

I wish I had read the reviews before I went here, because I too had a rotten experience with these unprofessional jerks. I needed several rings resized, and to make a long story short, they didn’t do the work after holding my jewelry for 2 weeks, LIED to me saying the jeweler was working on it, when in fact he never touched it. I also got a snarky lecture on the phone when I called.

I have found the staff at Vineyard Jewelers in Sonoma to be very informative, helpful and polite. They have brought out the wedding band tray for me several times as I try to decide on a band for my husband. They have consulted with me on jewelry for my daughter who has severe metal sensitivities and are on the constant lookout for earrings she would like and would be able to use. They have fixed several watches for me in the 15 years I have lived here. They have needed: batteries, new crystals and new bands. Every one of them was fixed in a timely fashion(no pun intended) and the repairs worked and held. The owners, Carol and Wayne, have been very generous with their donations to local school events also. They were upfront about the 2 week time period to repair and change my wedding band, as it needed to be sent out for a custom repair job. I was able to make an educated decision to keep it with me, since I didn’t want to be parted from it for that long. This is a great jewelry store with not only custom made jewelry that is unusual and very attractive, they also sell estate jewelry, many which are one-of-a-kind items. I sometimes go in just to see the estate pieces because many are antiques and the period designs are fascinating. They have conversed with me often about gems; I’m a rockhound, and they have given freely and kindly of their time.

I’d like to give zero stars, but I cannot. Brought in my Rolex to be fixed. Was not working again after 1 day. I was charged 220 $. I then sent the watch to Rolex who told me he is not a certified Rolex repair person and that he in fact had done nothing to my watch and wouldn’t have been able to fix it anyway. 220 $ wasted on a person who should have said I’m sorry I cannot fix this. Never again vineyard jeweler.

RUDE. OUT-DATED. OVER-PRICED and RUDE. I pass by this«jewelry store» a few days a week on my way to whole foods… I went in a couple days ago asking if they size watches, the dark brown haired woman, about 50, looked me up and down and said«Not today» laughed and looked away. I told this story to my partner and he told me that he went in there at Christmas time, asked the same woman to show him rings, she asked how much he had to spend, he said jokingly, «not a lot,» the woman said«Well then I can’t help you» and walked away to chat with a co-worker. I am glad she turned him away because the jewelry they have is seriously out-dated and over priced. Its like a pawn shop trying to be an upscale pawn shop. I look forward to seeing a «For Lease» sign in their little window. P. S. the last post by «Jenna C.» is obviously bogus…

Expensive, rude and unprofessional. My sister’s(now) husband took his wedding ring to get engraved with 7-tiny letters on the inside of the band — not only did it take 28 days to get done(I picked it up the day before their wedding) it cost $ 336! Crazy. Thank goodness they were getting married locally or he wouldn’t have had his band on his wedding day. They blamed it on the engraver being gone on vacation… well if he was going on vacation don’t you think you should have returned the ring or let someone know it was going to be taking this long?! Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Stay away from this place unless you like paying and arm and a leg for things and also like waiting for ever for the simplest of things.

Great store! I love coming in here, the staff is kind and knowledgeable. They have a beautiful selection. We bought our wedding rings here, and got far better service than at the chain store we also visited and we found exactly what we both wanted! They have also done a great job fixing a few pieces of jewelry for me Beautifully located a block from the Square in the Marketplace.

Every few years I come back to this place expecting a better experience. I needed a quote on a wedding ring repair for my wife’s Birthday and after a week and a couple of visits to the store I got promises but no quote/estimate for the work. The part that bothers me most is that if they communicated it would take more than a week to get a quote, I would have had choices. Instead I left it there thinking the quote was coming any day. I decided to take the ring somewhere else with a more responsive staff.
