First appointment at Catalina’s and my stylist was Cidnee. She did a fabulous job with my haircut. She understood exactly what I wanted and executed! Not only did I get the cut I wanted, but she was also very friendly and personable. Will definitely be going back!

My first manicure/​pedicure, though excellent was the most expensive ever at $ 75 before tip. It would have been $ 90, not including tip, had I wished for «exfoliation» of my hands. The work was excellent, but so expensive.
Then I had another mannicure/​pedicure which was at the normal price, but with another woman. The main difference beside the $ 50 price was that the mannicure was awful, as three nails were filed incorrectly and now are about to break off.
I will not being going back.

New Med-​Spa Doctor is awesome. Just what this town needs. Catalina proves once again to be a world-​class salon. I will be back.

After moving from NYC to Sonoma I searched for a hairdresser here, and finally after a few fails found the perfect fit. Catalinas salon has a super friendly atmosphere. Aesthetically the salon is gorgeous, spacious, extremely clean and inviting. My stylist Theresa is incredible, she cuts and colors my hair and I always walk away feeling fantastic, and that’s how you should feel after a visit to the salon!

Whether you are a local Sonoman or visiting from out of town you can rest assured you are in GREAT hands at Catalina’s! Even if it’s last minute (my usual issue) they really do their best to accommodate and will go above and beyond to do so. From skin to hair to nails they truly offer a high quality experience and the new space is super light and fresh! I highly recommend getting all your facials with Catalina her knowledge and skills come second nature, you will definitely leave glowing!

Cidnee is the best. She’s fun and great with color. Price is right too. The salon is beautifully done and the location is good and great parking. I’ll be back!!!

Catalina Salon is not an Aveda Concept salon, but evidently they were grandfathered in so the stylists can use Aveda color products although the salon is not exclusively Aveda. There is plenty of parking behind the salon but the entrance is at the front. The salon is light and airy with some signs of dating and wear, but the friendly receptionist/​stylists easily compensate for anything lacking in décor. My color stylist Sydney is very competent and outgoing, quickly putting you at ease. I was very pleased with the outcome (color not brassy with lots of shine) my first time and I did not hesitate to rebook a second appointment.

Love this salon. In particular Cidnee Grant is an amazing colorist and stylist. She listens to your wants and desires and executes them flawlessly. The atmosphere is relaxing and the whole shop lends itself perfectly to give you the ultimate pampering. They offer hair services, nail, facials, medical beauty care, makeup, and more.

Had a great cut and color experience with Cidnee! Great products, with a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Cidnee asked what I was looking for (just a trim and highlights) exceeded my expectations! I would recommend this place to anyone!

Catalina’s Skin & Body is the best salon in Sonoma! The staff is warm and friendly, Catalina has been waxing my brows for a few years and she does a great job while making you feel like you’ve been best friends for years. My stylist, Michele Camp, is the best! I’ve been following her where ever she goes for over 15 years. She always knows what to do with my fine hair and her color skills are spot on!
Their new location is fabulous with plenty of easy parking right next to the public library. I used to work in that very building when it was owned by the Sonoma school district. Catalina has been able to remodel a large part of the building into a very lovely, spa-​like salon. I haven’t had an opportunity to have a facial there yet, but hope to that soon. I love Catalina’s and you will too!

My all time favorite salon where I can get beautified in one place. Cidnee does an amazing job with my fine hair; Catalina’s facials are absolutely remarkable and Teresa keeps my nails in tip top shape. Love this place and everyone who works here. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!!

I have been going to this Salon for four years. Sue, the British receptionist is very gracious and welcoming, and helps you remember your appointments. Joanna Ramirez is a very gifted hair stylist: part chemist and part artist. She keeps up with the trends. She absolutely loves working with your hair and has the most upbeat personality, warm heart and positive attitude. Catalina Salon is at a better location (next to the Library) with lots of parking. The entire staff is highly skilled and friendly. This is by far the best Salon in Sonoma and I would not go anywhere else, especially since they use non-​toxic (Aveda) hair products.

My absolute favorite salon! Catalina’s facials are amazing, and I also highly recommend her waxing. Theresa hands down provides the best haircut/​color in Sonoma Valley, I would let her do almost anything to my hair. The salon has a modern and sleek look and is always super clean. I love the friendly, warm, and welcoming atmosphere found there.

I am a big fan of this salon. I have lived in Sonoma for over 8 years and recently became a customer for hair with Joanna, shellac nails with Theresa, and facials with Catalina. They all do an amazing job with high attention to detail! The facility is very modern, consistently clean, and everyone is super friendly. The new salon location has plenty of parking behind the building or on a nearby side street.
I am always greeted with a warm smile and hello. They always offer me something to drink, so it makes me feel very welcome. It is my time to relax and get away from it all.
The only recommendations for improvement would be to upgrade the website and allow online scheduling for appointments. It would make my life a little easier because I don’t always think of calling to schedule during business hours. But that will not stop me from being a frequent customer.
This salon is just what Sonoma needed. Thank you Catalina!

I love this salon! They sell Aveda, it is upscale and most importantly, they have Theresa Gonzales working there! I can’t recommend her highly enough! She started doing my aunts hair, then my two cousins, then friends and now me. We all love her and call her our family stylist now! She listens to what you want and either does that or kindly suggests ways it might be improved. She is NOT the stylist that nods «yes» and then does whatever they want. Theresa listens. She is also funny and we have lots of good laughs while she is making me look beautiful! She also waxes facial hair while you are there, so that saves a lot of time.
As a mom, it is nice to go into this little sanctuary and be pampered. It is very peaceful and relaxing, which I appreciate. They recently moved from an old outdated space to a lovely modern space. It is light and airy, with soft tones of grey and crisp whites. The move was a smart one because it is so beautiful and parking is way easier. And I love the Aveda products too! I’ve heard that Catalina does the skin care and that it is wonderful — I’m booking my first appointment this week! Will post update.
