Great Clips

Great Clips is awesome… but take my review with a grain of salt, since I hate paying for a hair cut. I will ask everyone I know to cut my hair before I actually go pay to have it done :)

This place is always consistent and the staff is friendly and helpful. They all aim to please to make sure a customer has the best haircut possible.

I had a very different experience here that previous reviewers and just want to share it for other people who might be considering Great Clips.
I came in to get my bangs trimmed, as I couldn’t get an appointment for a full hair cut at a real salon and had an interview the next day. I walked in and was greeted by a woman who I later found out would be my stylist. She was nice but didn’t quite seem ‘all there’. I was a little worried as we headed over to the chair, and should have listened to my instincts and just walked out!
I sat down in the chair and explained what I wanted, knowing that I wasn’t going to get salon results in a chain store, but still expecting a reasonable trim given the easiness of the job.
Nope.
After mentioning that my hair «shrinks» quite a bit while drying, I asked the stylist to not go too short so there would be some leeway when my hair dried. Instead she began to cut higher than I’d indicated I’d like my hair to be once it was dry. Additionally, she was wearing a ring that scraped along my forehead while she was cutting. After she got all the way across, I told her that was all I wanted to do. She didn’t seem to have any awareness that the cut looked very strange and was much too short. I was so upset I just paid and got the heck out of there.

Came here for my first haircut by a non-​family member and Lori did a great job! Got a trim and some new side bangs. She is great and really nice. All the staff is welcoming and efficient at getting people in and out. I highly recommend this place :)

I just had my first experience at Great Clips, and overall it was pretty fantastic. In the end all that really matters is Maria gave me a pretty damn good haircut at a reasonable price, so we can start there.
I was a little thrown off upon entering, as I was asked for my full name, phone number and address for their computer system. I have never supplied any of this info. my entire life at any hair place, but I was informed that I would immediately receive a heavily discounted hair cut coupon in the mail for joining, so what the hell right.
The hair cut was $ 16.00 and was good enough for a $ 4.00 tip. $ 20.00 is a bit more than I prefer to spend on a haircut, but she did a really good job. I will be back.

I began coming into this salon after a bad experience from my visit at a high end salon at Salon
Santa Rosa. After getting a haircut here, I was impressed with the level of skill and talent of these hair stylist at a budget friendly price. I really liiked Maria who will cut one’s hair exactly as you want it I can’t believe more people are not coming to this wonderful salon where you don’t need an appointment in ordert to be seen. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to replace their hairstylist as well as those who would like to save money from on all of the pricey salons in Sonoma! You just can’t find a better deal than this. Quality Haircut at an Affordable Price.

First time here. I got a great haircut from Jenny. She was friendly, listened to what I wanted and I walked out loving my hair. I have received so many compliments. Will definitely come back.

Jenny did a Great job! all the stylists were very friendly and jenny was very helpful with product knowledge as well as delivering a great haircut! i will be back for sure!
